I love coming here , the service is excellent , the food always comes out fast, and I really like the salsa they serve, it's always been a hit with me!

Found out this is family related to casa Flores and senor frogs! BINGO!!

Best deep fried crunchy chicken tacos ever! Love their homemade salsa. Beans and rice are small portions, but just enough after mowing down a basket of homemade corn chips and fresh pico de gallo salsa. 5 stars for food and nice service. I really look forward to eating here when I'm in Lodi. They have inside or outside seating. It was hot yesterday so we chose to sit inside with the cool air conditioning. I noticed they have 1 big large round table that seats 8 people and it can be reserved. That's awesome for larger families and friends.

I'm baffled! I don't get why this place has such low reviews. It deserves better! I have very high standards for Mexican food. The food here is very good, fresh, and quickly served. I give the flavor a solid 9 out of 10. The horchata here is also SUPER good. It's hard finding a place that has good horchata made from scratch. Free chips and salsa the second you're seated, which I thought was very cool. Service is great; very friendly staff. I loved the ambiance. It's a small but very clean restaurant. Prices are average (for a restaurant). People complaining about prices obviously do not take in consideration that the costs for everything have shot up! And having employees aren't free. Leasing a restaurant space isn't free. Especially where it's located. If you can't afford this place, save your pennies and go to Taco Bell. They have a dollar menu there you MIGHT afford... ;)

For over 15 plus years, our family and friends have always visited from Los Angeles, Sacramento, Tracy, Stockton and the Bay Area to dine at our favorite Lodi Mexican restaurant. The ANGELO's Restaurant is a friendly hospitality, immediate customer service and fast delivery of our plates have always been on point. And of course the menu and my favorite dish enchiladas and tostadas never fail w/that delicious homemade taste. But my favorite side dish for 15plus years is the bean dip w/nachos. Thank you Rachel, Raquel and David always welcoming our family w/warm and humble hospitality.

Chicken Enchiladas with salsa verde are the best. The rice and beans are legitimate. I have been going since they opened in the late 80's

Fast, consistent, affordable, but if you have the time and want to spend a little more I believe there are better options in town.

She was very nice and helpful. We shared a piña con coco cocktail, which I really enjoyed. It had a spicy rim and was sweet, but not too sweet. We ordered the guacamole, which was made tableside. I ordered the enchiladas al comal, which looked really good. Unfortunately, I didn't love the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas and wished I had ordered a more traditional red or green sauce. But it was still good, and I can see why it's popular. I did enjoy the steak and vegetables inside the enchiladas. I was leaning toward a 4-star rating since I didn't love my enchiladas and wouldn't order them again. But Isabella's service was so excellent that it alone pushed my review to a 5.

The prickly pear margarita tasted more like a pink Jolly Rancher than anything else, which just wasn't for me. My fajitas were alright, but they came without any sour cream or guac and the pico was mainly onion. When I asked the waiter, he told me they don't come with it, even though the menu said otherwise. Without those, the fajitas ended up being really dry. I ended up just paying and getting ready to leave, but when I grabbed a menu again and asked about it, they apologized and offered me chips and salsa to go, which I appreciated. The staff was very nice throughout, but the whole experience felt a bit disorganized. Overall, it just didn't feel like a good value for the money, and I left pretty underwhelmed.

Fantastic and they give one person enough for two plus leftovers. And I was able to spot a handful of items on the menu that didn't have any meat. Yay for me. We came in for dinner a couple nights ago, fairly hungry. The dining area is large, kind of reminded me of a diner, with neon lights on the walls, selfie ready? There was nobody else in the place when we arrived, but during our visit more parties came in to partake. Service was super quick, probably due to us being the first to be served, but I appreciated it regardless. I ordered cheese enchiladas with green salsa, and my love ordered carnitas. Chips and a mild salsa came out quickly, with the chips still warm. Yum! Rice and beans came with my entree, and all was scrumptious. The green salsa was tangy and full of flavor. Everything was full of flavor. No complaints, no notes. Prices were normal even generous given the quality and portions. We will be back soon!

I went with the steak fajitas and they came out hot with a good mix of peppers and onions. Plenty of flavor and a fair portion. My wife ordered the shrimp and fish tacos and those ended up being our favorite. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and put together nicely. We also tried a strawberry margarita, which was good but could've been sweeter. Service was fast, friendly, and our food came out quicker than expected. 100% will be back for more shrimp tacos!

As soon as the location opens usually around 11 AM it becomes very busy but not sure if they take reservations as we just usually walk in and kind of wait a couple of minutes and then we are seated or sometimes they ask us to see her self. I really enjoy the service that we get here every time we do visit because everybody that helps us out is very pleasant and nice and cordial. They do play the music very loud as if replicating you are in a live concert lol but sometimes it helps bring out the vibes depending on if somebody is celebrating an occasion. The atmosphere is kind of set up like a sailor ship or something rather but of course pertains to the sea. They do offer other things on their menu and they also serve alcohol beverages if that is of your interest. Their parking lot is shared with other businesses around the area so sometimes it's difficult to find a parking space. You may have to circle around a couple of times, but when you are at your table, you automatically Brought a appetizer size ceviche with crackers and tostadas.. for those that do enjoy picking out music their selves they do have a modernized jukebox that's located towards their back wall before reaching the restrooms. Overall, one of our go to spots when we wanna get out and have kind of like a late lunch or early dinner

This place did not disappoint. They serve mainly pork for meat options, different types of prepared pork and chicken is available. No pastor to be had. Sadly, no beef or Steak/Carne Asada either. They do pork very well, it was delicious. I ordered a super taco with Carnitas on it and a regular/street taco with chicken. They do not skimp on the meat portions. The actual Carnitas (shredded pork) on the super taco was grade A. Was not greasy, stringy, or crispy. It was tender and tasty. I could tell it was freshly made. They have three different sauce to choose from and all are above average. I got the green avocado salsa. This restaurant is sizable, and has a large seating area with a lot of chairs. There is a bar in the corner too, but nobody was sitting there at all. I'm thinking the crowds are packed in at nighttime here. The customer service was swell. Nothing negative to speak of. I want to give this place five stars, because I really did like the food. I won't do so because on a hot day, some ice in my drink was necessary. The fountain soda machine was not dispensing ice cubes. Nonfunctional. Not okay. Everything else was practically fine though. The price points are not low. Spendy menu items across the board. The store was very clean, with an atmosphere more welcoming than not. I'd return for more.
