With a party of 10, there were various other dishes at our table. I tasted quite a few and everything was really good--the chili relleno, quesadilla, chili Colorado, chimichanga--all good from the bites I had, but the fajitas were my favorite. Cool atmosphere and free parking nearby, I'm so glad to have found my new go to spot for Mexican food in Lodi!

The menu has a number of unique items that I intend to try in the future, and they also offer other items like burgers. From what I can see from people's reviews and photos, they offer other items not on the menu. I wish they would consolidate everything they offer to the menu so there is no guess work. And I'd also like to see some refried beans. The man working there is friendly and makes the food fast. So definitely check this place out if you haven't already. They offer a bigger and more diverse amount of food than just about every other taco truck, and the quality is very good.

The salsa roja is good but very spicy, I recommend getting it on the side so you can choose the amount you want. Otherwise they might put too much on them if they do it themselves. Also the tacos are wrapped in paper and served in foil instead of in a clamshell, which I guess is better for the environment, but it does make eating them a bit messy. The wait time can vary depending on how busy they are, and they do seem to be popular. And they are cash only. But definitely give them a try, you may be surprised.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the customer service. The woman I was told was the owner was also the only server, and unfortunately, her customer service was extremely poor. I ordered guacamole and was told twice that it was coming. At one point, I was told they were preparing the avocados. After waiting and still receiving nothing, I finally asked if we should just cancel the guacamole, and she simply said yes. I would have much rather been told from the beginning that it wasn't available instead of being told multiple times that it was coming. We also never received a water refill until we asked at the very end of our meal. Anytime I tried to ask our server a question, she would walk away while I was speaking and then respond from a distance. It felt dismissive and unwelcoming. My mom and I own three restaurants ourselves, so we completely understand that restaurants get busy, employees can be short-staffed, and things don't always go perfectly. But basic communication, attentiveness, and hospitality are incredibly important--especially when you're the owner. Unfortunately, between the small portions, bland food, poor communication, and uncomfortable customer service, we will not be returning. Let's talk about the sopes -- these things are unreal.
