Not the best truck in town, but the closest to my house. Prices are average, but they are relatively inconsistent. Sometimes the meat is fresh-ish, sometimes it's old and dry. I say ish because only a couple places cook to order, the rest cook it, steam tray it, recook it, and re steam tray it until they have to make a new batch. Sadly I've never been here to try a new batch. Cash only. Depending on who's working will depend on their attention to detail and friendliness. Mostly alright. No refried beans sadly. Breakfast burritos all day, so a plus there, and also open fairly late. I do like their salsas. This place is easy to miss if you don't know where it is. It is on Turner behind the Shell station all the way to the west of the street just before Lower Sacramento. Not too many places open late in that area so it's a good place to grab something later in the evening. I mostly just get tacos and quesadillas, but I have had their asada fries. They use that "queso" nacho cheese sauce which I am not a fan of, so ask for what you want. I have been meaning to try this place for a long time. Thai is a food truck that parks right by my house behind a liquor store. I should've known this would be great because I always see people lined up to eat there whether early morning or any time of day. I was in a pinch the other day and just needed a quick bite while working on my condo so while refueling drove by and ordered a Al Pastor quesadilla simple item. The lady lady taking my order was so nice and my food came out super fast. Even though this truck is at the back of a gas station the ambiance and cleanliness is super on point. This quesadilla was so delicious and maybe the pic didn't do it justice but it was packed with delicious pork Al Pastor meat and I ate the entire thing. I will for sure be back and I would look at some of the other great other items including all day breakfast burritos. What a great find! read more

They have a new look now. I didn't want to try it originally, even though I'm within walking distance. Due to the 3 star rating. I think this is very similar to the food truck up the street. Even better, they now accept cards not just cash. I always order Asada tacos with everything - mild. I think they are good. The meat could have more flavor but overall it's a good street taco at a fair price with friendly staff and usually low wait time. I go hear at least a couple times a month now. My friend has gotten the tongue and pastor and says it is good. Give this place a try and don't be scared away by their rating. Give me some flavor please! Was excited to try this place given the good ratings received. I enjoy discovering culinary gems in small, hole-in-the-wall locations. I was greatly disappointed. I ordered 1 bean and cheese burrito, four lengua tacos and two carne asada tacos. The bean and cheese burrito had the most flavor of everything. Tacos came pre-wrapped in paper. Seasoning on the meat was not even close to what you get at a great mexican food place. Both meats were dry and fairly bland. This is very hard to do with lengua meat which is normally juicy and tender. The excess tortilla added to the blandness. Most places double up on tortillas but these just seemed too thick and were not cooked over a grill (determined from lack of any browning on any side). I actually had to take a sip from my horchata to be abke to swallow my bites if taco....not exaggerating. I would not recommend eating here if you have any idea what great mexican food is like. You will be disappointed like I was. Service was quick and friendly but it simply isn't quality food. Oh and did I mention it was bland!?! read more

We've been trying every taco truck in Lodi to try to find our favorite. Originally wanted to rate 4.5 stars. Food was very fresh so we liked that part a lot, but it was way OVERPRICED! Tacos were good, wouldn't ever get a burrito here again. Burritos were TINY. Tacos tasted fresh and soft and flavorful and had a lot of meat. Asada was so good. If I could give this place negative stars I would, this used to be my favorite place to go until tonight , I ordered food and while waiting for my food I walked to the gas station because my daughter had to use the rest room, she is 3 years old ... they said they do not have a public bathroom but that the taco truck has the key to the bathroom connected to the laundry mat , I asked for the key so my daughter could go and at first they lied and said they didn't have a key and after pleading because my kid is in tears trying to hold it they said they wouldn't give me a key.. can't believe how heartless they are .... they are probably the worst human beings I have came across in a long time , I hope someday they are put in the same situation and the are treated the same way read more
