I order online for delivery and it's always on time or early and the delivery driver George is always very polite and friendly with my son who wants to ask a hundred questions. Love Round Table, and love this new location. Immaculately clean, nice open layout, good customer service, and some damn good pizza. I came in her to get a small Chicken Garlic Supreme pizza with extra chicken on a skinny crust. They are pricey I will say, but damn they execute some good pizza for a chain. What a joke. Ordered delivery from this location. Medium pizza and garlic twists. Seems like a pretty brainless order to me. But nope...pizza was delivered with no garlic twists...over an hour later. Driver was supposed to leave order at the door but stayed and demanded a signature even though they had already charged my credit card an hour prior. When I called them to tell them part of my order wasnt recieved they asked if i would like the rest of my order delivered....? I wanted it delivered the first time. This is a review of the new Clayton Station location... They should be ashamed of their salad bar! My mother in law and I barely ate our salad bar because neither of us could find anything that didn't appear to have been there for hours past its prime. Some of it looked like it could make a person sick. The service was lukewarm at best and I got the impression they really didn't care if we returned or not. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because the pizza seemed edible but nothing special. I expected something better. I was very disappointed. My kids love pizza so maybe I will give it another try in a few months but I don't think I will chance the salad bar again. read more

1:30 PM on a Sunday with one table of customers. Should have been our first clue. Waiter messed up the order for our neighbors and got rude with them. All the unoccupied tables were dirty so I cleaned ours with napkins. The same waiter knocked over a full glass of soda on two people in my party, soaking their clothes. No apology and no attempt to help clean up. He did go to get some towels and then stopped to help a customer that just walked in, towels in hand, as we sat waiting in pools of soda! This take out pizza if not the worst that we have ever ordered was a close second. This was a featured large pizza that included mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, garlic and a few unexpected small pieces of sausage. The crust was dry and the toppings were meager and would fall off when trying to extract the extra thin and not completely cut through slices from the box. Time #1 the place charged my roommate for ranches and the driver starts coping an attitude telling us we never ordered ranch - IT IS ON THE RECEIPT CLOWN! So now, Revoked tip! #2 we order an XL to be delivered and an hour and a half goes by - no pizza. Call in and the little punk on the phone has the audacity to tell us we never ordered a pizza. We've been charged on our credit card, so we're heated. Finally they say they'll deliver the pizza ASAP. Not five minutes later we Get a call saying "sorry, my manager won't give out a free pizza"... free!? What are you talking about! Charged $45 for no reason. Beware of this place! A couple of months ago, we visited our family in Concord. They ordered pan pizzas from this location. My husband and I escorted them to pick up the pizzas, and experienced T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. customer service. My husband's cousin told the cashier that we ordered thick crust pizza. Manager takes a look and says that it is and there's nothing wrong with the pizza. We paid for the pizzas because we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for new ones. My cousin asked, Next time, should I ask for a specific type of crust? The manager went back to the kitchen, rolled her eyes, and made rude comments to her employees in the back. My husband yelled out, hey, don't do that, manager never came out to apologize, instead stayed in the kitchen. The front cashiers agreed that their manager was in the wrong, unprofessional, and shouldn't have behaved that way. We have family members who are connected to CEO's, supervisors in the franchise. They agreed that this was unacceptable and will look into this situation. I wouldn't give this place a star, but unfortunately, yelp requires one. I see why this place has such bad reviews; walked in, payed, and am told the soda machine is broken. Soda, and a tiny bucket of ice are placed at the register for ppl to fill soda. Seriously? You don't want to have someone come out and fix the soda machine?? Ordered a pizza for take-out on a early Saturday evening. (Background: On the day prior (Friday), I went with my wife to dine in at this new location, and there were 4 or 5 children, maybe 5 or 6 years old, running all around the restaurant and screaming at the top of their lungs. No parental guidance anywhere to be found and the management did NOTHING to quiet the brats. So, we left and went elsewhere for our dinner.) Pros: None. Cons: 1) Pizza was a disaster. I asked for light cheese, and it seems they put EXTRA cheese instead. So, I had to do some serious pizza surgery just to be able to eat the darn thing. It was also slightly under-cooked, and the pepperoni was flabby. Not good. 2) The manager, (name redacted), was also the manager at the prior location, I believe, and I had numerous issues there as well with their pizzas. Delivery delays, incorrect orders, etc. Clearly the management is having issues with quality control. Verdict: *PASS*. I hoped the new location would be a nice addition to the Clayton Valley Shopping Center, but it is just sadness instead. Back to Skip's and paying a premium price, it appears. Drive down there and it wasn't ready had to wait an additional 20 or 30 mins (40 mins total) they were not apologetic at all. I hate giving one-star reviews. But. We called at 4pm on a Friday to get two pizzas and wings delivered at 5:30pm. Well, it is currently 6:30 and, what do you know, NO PIZZAS YET. We called at 6:00pm and asked what was going on. They kept us on hold for TEN minutes, and then told us they were sorry the pizza wasn't delivered yet, it was "much busier than they expected". Now, we called an hour and a half ahead of time. And we asked for a specific time. So for it to be an hour later and we have no food, well, that's just the most pathetic thing I've ever heard. We have been going to the other location on Clayton Rd for many years, always did take-out, and that place had numerous problems as well. The food has always been fine, come on, it's pizza, but their service, the people working there, and the general attitude towards customers is about a 1 out of 50. I blame the management. Don't bother ordering beer here, they will give your 3+ inches of straight foam, every single time you order it, if they remember to even serve it to you. This restaurant recently relocated from its old location on Clayton Road. The new manager used to work for corporate Round Table stores. And has she made a difference for the better. Talked with her about the changes (nice to have the manager come to the tables to check on service rather than be invisible). The new location is clean and bright. And the staff is actually customer oriented now. The old location we went to maybe once every few years, to see if they were any better, and they were not. The new place with the new manager, we have been there twice in the last two weeks. Service is pretty good, friendly. The salad bar is kept full and fresh, and one can make a very good salad. The pan pizza is very good. If you gave up on the old Round Table on Clayton, give this one a try. read more
