Clayton Rd/ Ygnacio rd in Concord makes a fantastic pizza. Have gone back several times.

We ordered online at 4:30 for a delivery at 5:45. I fully understand that Friday nights are busy. No one wants to cook on a Friday night. But when you order 75 minutes out and then your pizza arrives over an hour after the time you requested it, that is just horrible customer service. When I called the store after it was 20 minutes late, all I got was an 'I'm sorry but we are really busy." After an additional 25 minutes, I called the store again and spoke directly to a manager. It took an additional 15 minutes after that call for my pizza to arrive. When it did arrive it was lukewarm. While they are refunding our money, we won't order from them again. read more

There seems to be new ownership. The front counter seems to be now run by families of the business. The service has gotten so much better the past few months. The pizza quality has gotten a lot more consistent as well. The Indian guy was so polite and checked every order before handing it to the guests. He greeted everyone with "sir" and "mam" and said thank you and good nigh to each guest. Highly recommend, great service and good. read more

The worst pizza place in the whole Contra Costa County. The worst pizza and service. I have stopped going there after 5 times of giving me the wrong pizza in over a year. They don't care if you take the pizza back and ask for the one you ordered, and as the other person who had my pizza and also brought it back, they just give you that cold and possibly touched by the other family to you and say here is your pizza for free. When you ask where is the free pizza, they say we give you this pizza at no charge, but I gave them the wrong pizza back, and they gave me my pizza, and no money back, so where is the free pizza. I don't need my money back if I get a freshly backed pizza that is just backed. read more

Great owners and staff! Friendly customer service! Pizza was ready in 2.0 min and was delicious!

The fancy new building does not reflect the work ethic and product that comes out of the establishment. Slow quote time estimates and poor customer service. Support any other business besides this revolving door. read more

Had a wonderful experience recently! I ordered takeout and when i got home it was still steaming hot! They really made sure the whole pizza was covered in toppings! They were so friendly when i came in to pick it up, it was overall a great experience and i will return to this location next time i want pizza! read more

Ordered on-line for pick up. Pizza was ready on time, hot out of the oven. Crust and toppings were as ordered, well prepared and tasty. That's about all I ask from a take-out pizza parlor, so I'm happy and will continue to patronize this location. read more

This place is a joke. No one appears to know what they're doing. Literally 7 doordash, etc people waiting for something. Stood in line 10 min just to pick up and it still wasn't ready. Supposed to be ready 15 min ago. read more

BY FAR THE WORSTTTTTTT ROUND TABLE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST AT THIS LOCATION! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE THE TRIP AND YOUR MONEY! The manager doesn't care nor helps with any situation. As other companies believe that the customer is always right; this place believes that she is only right and you should leave! Haha what a JOKE!!! I will forever give mine as well as all my friends and family service at a different round table. Treat blvd round table is worth the drive! Ygnacio valley in Clayton is THE WORST!!!!!! read more

Round Table Pizza - Worst MANAGER ever!!!! Jeanny/Jenny. She has 0 experience in customer service and argues with customers although she is proven wrong! - Pizza Near Me - Concord, California

Great pizza, the last honest pizza for reals. Never had any problems here and always get great customer service. It's a busy spot. Ate in the place and asked to have the table cleaned and it was done quickly and my food was out in about 15-20mins. read more

Yo this location is straight trash and it's because of the garbage employees. Like it literally does not taste like round table. It's taste like some cheap microwaved flea market pizza. I'll literally drive to the other side of concord to go to a different round table. Like bruh just do your job or leave tf read more

The last two times I've ordered from here my order has been delayed with door dash 20-30 min. Then when the pizza finally arrives it's burnt. I'm not wasting my money here anymore and will drive down to the Treat location to pick up and get good ranch! read more

Round table is always our go to pizza, but I don't know what's going on with this location. I usually order from the round table on treat and our pizza is always perfect. This location seems like they use entirely different ingredients from the crust to the cheese. I always order the same thing no matter which location but for some reason the one on Ygnacio always has an extremely thick and chewy crust and then the cheese is super thick. I always try to give them another chance but it's always the same bad pizza. Unfortunately for this location we will continue to go to the one on treat. read more

I make an effort to support take out during these challenging times. Unfortunately this occasion was very disappointing. I placed an order online for delivery because of an advertised online special. I should have known better to speak with someone personally. I typed in the comment box my special request. When the pizza was delivered it was wrong, I immediately called the location, I was told by two employees that there was nothing they could do for me.. I have since tried to reach a manager for several days and was told the manager is out of town. read more

I don't even know where to begin... but I should of have trusted these reviews. And I understand with it being New Year's Eve I expected a delay but not with all the drama. It actually became entertaining. We ordered our pizza at 615 by phone. The lady on the phone could not even figure out how to input a large pizza half cheese and half pepperoni and sausage. (Later I learned she is new, ok better training should be implemented) I arrive 645 to find a group of angry customers yelling and very irate. I should of have left at this point but I felt bad for the kids working. I was actually starting to defend the staff explaining its New Year's Eve relax. But then I quickly learn a majority of the customers pizza we're waiting at the window. But the kids did not want to come out to deal with them. A heated argument broke out with the staff between each other to "Get your ass out there and help these customers waiting!" And her being told "no way". This is the same employee asking the guys to help out in front that answered the phone. She was slammed putting orders together. The new employee gets so upset she quits and walks out! I step in and tell the kid "look man take a deep breath and figure it out. A lot of these angry customers just want there pizza and they will leave and be gone" he finally starts calling out names and some customers pizzas were ready. Some tried to pay but he keeps walking away so they left without even paying. I eventually get his attention around 730 and said I'm not mad or yelling. Just tell me if my pizzas are ready or in the pipe line. He says half the order is ready.... ok no problem let me know when it's all ready. They stop taking phone or walk in orders at this point. Now fast forward to 830. Two hours after my original order. They can't even find my order anywhere now? But you told me half my order is ready before? At this point trying to keep my cool. He says they are sorry and will make it now and will not charge me. Ok two hours of sitting here what's another 20-30 minutes. Around 9 my pizzas are ready. Wooohooo. And then he charges me full price. Wait what? Ok I just want to get out of here at this point and feed the family. And the best part. I get home with the pizzas and nothing even close to what we ordered! Ahhhh man so exhausting. Happy New year I hope this is not a sign of bad luck for 2018! read more

I have almost chosen round table, almost exclusively for 43 years. I have always been satisfied with the freshness and quality of the pizza. Not so this order; this pizza was dry and hardly had any topping on the king Arthur. I couldn't believe it. It was more like a domino pizza read more

The pizza was horrible again. The sauce oozed out of the pizza. Every bite the sauced oozed out using more napkins to clean up. We ordered pepperoni with each piece maybe 3 pieces of pepperoni. It is an expensive pizza and disgusting becsuse of the sauce. They need to be re-trained on how to make a pizza read more

Round Table Pizza - This is the sauce oozing on pizza. It was horrible again - Pizza Near Me - Concord, California

We have had several bad experiences including delivery guy George slamming the door shut on my elderly mother who had her hands full but Angela made things right and hooked us up with a free pizza when they mixed up our order. I would tell anyone if you have a bad experience talk to the manager and they will make it right. Anyway the pizza was good!!! I had the stuffed Crust with pepperoni. Yum !!. The combo was good too!.. read more

I ordered a delivery yesterday and asked to leave the food at my door. The delivery person forgot the drink in his car, when I opened the door, he was in the car getting the drink, when he came back to my door to drop it off, I closed the door to keep a safe distance, that's when he told me not to worry because the virus was not real. I want you to know that we will no longer purchase from Round table, due to lack of confidence, his reaction shows that some of the employers/Employees  are not following the rules and are not taking this (COVID-19) pandemic seriously. My cousin just died of the virus and she was only 47 years old, she also didn't believe the virus was real and she didn't take any precautions  to stay safe. (COVID-19) is real, it's here, I hope the employees start taking precautions to be safe to protect themselves and the  customers  too. I also hope there is no need for someone to die or get sick in their midst, so that they can start believing that this pandemic is real. read more

This Round table always messes up our order or forgets something. They are slow too and I think that half the time they fill orders from people who came after us first. read more

Wow how do u mess up pizza!!!! Blows my mind, actually no it's round table , last crappy pizza on earth, burnt, flavorless, look like like guys who are making these are blind, again how do u mess up a simple thing as some cheese pepperoni! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Round Table Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Concord, California

We called the Clayton Round Table restaurant recently and attempted to order a King Arthur Supreme. The rather rude employee informed me that they were out of salami, sausage, linguisa and hamburger. She went to say that she could still make a King Arthur Supreme but it wouldn't have those ingredients. Ok, that made no sense to me! I inquired about other supreme pizzas and was informed that they'd been busy and had little ingredients. What type of restaurant runs out of so many products? I then hung up, called Mountain Mikes and enjoyed my pizza very much! read more

Food took forever and they messed up on my order. Either they need better staffing or time management. They need to get it together at this location. Definitely not going to recommend this place for pick up or delivery. I accidentally gave them a 2 star by mistake unfortunately there's no negative stars on Yelp. read more

My family moved into Concord in 2018. We called the Round Table on Treat Road for a delivery one night. The woman who answered the phone was rude and acted like I was bothering her. I gave her my address but I was not "in the system" as a new customer. I gave her the address but she did not know if we were in the delivery area. I do not know why she could not check it or ask a supervisor. She put me on hold and I waited for 5 minutes until I gave up. I called this location on Ygnacio Road and they accepted my order. The delivery driver Bradley was polite and friendly. He explained how my area at Cowell/Treat is served by both locations. We have called many times and always get great service. My wife and I are fans of the Italian Combo Supreme and my kids love the bread sticks. We did have a late delivery one night but it was during a big storm. Bradley was our driver again and apologized for the delay. He explained how the rainy nights often bring in many delivery calls. He offered to speak to the manager about a discount on the next order. We ordered again 3 weeks later and they had a note from the manager to give us a discount. We are certainly satisfied customers. Keep up the good work. read more

The Round Table quality and standard is not there. What happened? Will go to another RT next time. Or, maybe even Mountain Mike's.

If I could give this place -10000 I would. I Ordered 12 piece wings from this place to pickup at 6:15, got there at 6:30 and when I went to pick up there was only 1 other person in line. They didn't acknowledge me for 10 mins, then finally they got to me at 6:40 and I told them I was there for pickup, they hadn't even started my order and said it would be another 8 mins. I didn't get them until 7pm. No apology or compensation for the wait. I Don't recommend ordering pickup or delivery here since all my delivery orders have been also been significantly late and that's why I tried pick up today. Also side note: Once a delivery driver (that was 30 min late past the 50 min waiting time) wouldn't allow me to sign a receipt (where I usually write the tip) and so I couldn't tip him because I didn't have any cash. Then I got a call from Round table 3 weeks later saying that they wanted to see if I tipped a delivery driver that day because they found that the driver had tipped himself $10. They refunded me but had to have me come in the store to do so. read more

If I could give this place less than a star I would. The evening supervisor was exceptionally rude when a mistake was clearly made on their side. The person taking the order could not get the order correct to save his life. I hope the owner realizes that his employees are a reflection as him/her as a business owner. We love round table but this place is terrible. Save your money and go to the next closer RT. read more

Absolutely horrible, the crust tastes like frozen pizza garbage, their sauce as well and same with the cheese... this place has completely changed their quality of ingredients.. THIS IS NOT ROUND TABLE... avoid this place and change your name... horrible absolutely horrible, waste of money and it's in the trash now. This owner needs to stop being so cheap or change the name of the pizza place. Little ceasers makes a better pizza. read more

Had to call after 2 hours with no show. A lady confirmed my order was on the way. Then I received a call 30 min later only to be told that my order has been canceled due to my location being too far. If that's true, then why did the lady tell me my order was on the way? And why did it take 2.5 hours to get the call? The manager didn't seem to care. read more

Worst Round Table ever! Online order took 1.5 hours. 2 calls to check on delivery and no apology for the delay, just excuse of "we are really busy". Pizza arrived smashed and when I called to void the order again no apology. Pizza was also colder and looked like it had sat for a bit. I voided the order and hopefully with 3-5 business days it will be refunded. I've ordered before at the old location and it was NEVER like this. So awful. read more

The staff are nice but I get my order not the way I want each time. I have called them, left note in the note area and asked them in person to cook the pizza a bit longer but each time the pizza is white under cooked so I have to do it again at home. I even write extra crispy but does not seem like anyone cares. Also I ordered one time when i was in Sacramento the pizza was way different so tasty and delicious. I hope they can do the same or bake it an extra 2 min read more

Tonight we got an awesome yummy and delicious pizza and a salad. The customer service from ordering on the phone too delivery was on point. With it being sooo hot tonight we didn't want to cook, so I just wanted to say your team you did a great job !! And the pizza was super hot when delivered. Thank you!!! read more

We went here for their lunch buffet back in June and had a bad experience... So we waited several months to go back and try it again. First, we went for the lunch buffet again and it was a much better experience. The food was made to a high standard, the garlic twists were baked to perfection, and they kept everything fairly well stocked throughout the hour we were there. Since then we have been eating here about once a month, using the $25.99 deal that includes a large two topping pizza and 6 garlic twists. The garlic twists are my favorite and this is exactly the type of pizza we would order normally. It's a really good deal when you're factoring in that their large pizzas with 2 toppings and 6 twists would normally be about $37-38. Lately it seems like they've hired new people to work the registers and they're all really friendly and helpful. The pizza has always been made with care and tastes great. Round Table has always been our favorite pizza, but we've limited how often we go there since it can be pricey. With this coupon it's now a reasonable price range and we've been happy with the product! The coupon ends tomorrow so we'll see what they come up with next. read more

I just want to say that on a very hectic day very busy time Gina and Heather took excellent care of us and the pizza was great we got a large I highly recommend adding bell peppers to your pizza when is already cooked very very yummy but I highly recommend this particular round table because they get the pizza out to you hot and fresh read more

The staff was great! I love Round Table pizza. It is always fresh and tasty. However, they got super busy and were not able to rush our order, but they made it right. They worked really hard and our order was wonderful and delicious. Great staff. Great management. Keep it up! We will be back! Thank you. read more

Horrible service. Horrible staff. You call in and no one knows where your order is. I've tried to order multiple times and still they forget my order, or the pizza comes cold, or they take longer than an hour. Management needs to read this review and do something about the service. No longer buying from Round Table at this location. read more

I've eaten here before and after the renovation. The staff has always been considerate with the ladies in my knitting group. The food selection is soooo much better since the renovation. The Salad bar is constantly attended to and filled as necessary by the staff. The back room behind the barn doors is very nice. The window room is also very nice. Parking is pretty good in front and back. I've recommended this location to lots of my family and friends and everyone who tried has been impressed. read more

I was in this RTP early last evening, ordering a turkey club sandwich - after waiting 20 minutes (I was the only patron in the establishment) for the kitchen staff to stop joking around & prepare my (ordered & paid for) sandwich, I walked out. Two weeks ago, I was in this RTP, ordering a ham club sandwich & received in within 10 minutes (wonderful). Having said that, it was the lamest sandwich I had ever experienced - 1 thin slice of ham & 1 thin slice of cheese (certainly not worth $6.49). The big problem is not the front people, e.g., 'Guadalupe' is just wonderful; rather the kitchen people, they are most inexperienced, untrained, essentially clowns. RGJW. read more
