Round table is always our go to pizza, but I don't know what's going on with this location. I usually order from the round table on treat and our pizza is always perfect. This location seems like they use entirely different ingredients from the crust to the cheese. I always order the same thing no matter which location but for some reason the one on Ygnacio always has an extremely thick and chewy crust and then the cheese is super thick. I make an effort to support take out during these challenging times. Unfortunately this occasion was very disappointing. I placed an order online for delivery because of an advertised online special. I should have known better to speak with someone personally. I typed in the comment box my special request. I don't even know where to begin... but I should of have trusted these reviews. And I understand with it being New Year's Eve I expected a delay but not with all the drama. It actually became entertaining. We ordered our pizza at 615 by phone. The lady on the phone could not even figure out how to input a large pizza half cheese and half pepperoni and sausage. (Later I learned she is new, ok better training should be implemented) I arrive 645 to find a group of angry customers yelling and very irate. I should of have left at this point but I felt bad for the kids working. I was actually starting to defend the staff explaining its New Year's Eve relax. But then I quickly learn a majority of the customers pizza we're waiting at the window. But the kids did not want to come out to deal with them. A heated argument broke out with the staff between each other to "Get your ass out there and help these customers waiting!" And her being told "no way". This is the same employee asking the guys to help out in front that answered the phone. She was slammed putting orders together. The new employee gets so upset she quits and walks out! I step in and tell the kid "look man take a deep breath and figure it out. A lot of these angry customers just want there pizza and they will leave and be gone" he finally starts calling out names and some customers pizzas were ready. Some tried to pay but he keeps walking away so they left without even paying. I eventually get his attention around 730 and said I'm not mad or yelling. Just tell me if my pizzas are ready or in the pipe line. He says half the order is ready.... ok no problem let me know when it's all ready. They stop taking phone or walk in orders at this point. Now fast forward to 830. Two hours after my original order. They can't even find my order anywhere now? But you told me half my order is ready before? At this point trying to keep my cool. He says they are sorry and will make it now and will not charge me. Ok two hours of sitting here what's another 20-30 minutes. Around 9 my pizzas are ready. Wooohooo. And then he charges me full price. Wait what? Ok I just want to get out of here at this point and feed the family. And the best part. The pizza was horrible again. The sauce oozed out of the pizza. Every bite the sauced oozed out using more napkins to clean up. We ordered pepperoni with each piece maybe 3 pieces of pepperoni. I ordered a delivery yesterday and asked to leave the food at my door. The delivery person forgot the drink in his car, when I opened the door, he was in the car getting the drink, when he came back to my door to drop it off, I closed the door to keep a safe distance, that's when he told me not to worry because the virus was not real. I want you to know that we will no longer purchase from Round table, due to lack of confidence, his reaction shows that some of the employers/Employees  are not following the rules and are not taking this (COVID-19) pandemic seriously. My cousin just died of the virus and she was only 47 years old, she also didn't believe the virus was real and she didn't take any precautions  to stay safe. (COVID-19) is real, it's here, I hope the employees start taking precautions to be safe to protect themselves and the  customers  too. My family moved into Concord in 2018. We called the Round Table on Treat Road for a delivery one night. The woman who answered the phone was rude and acted like I was bothering her. I gave her my address but I was not "in the system" as a new customer. I gave her the address but she did not know if we were in the delivery area. I do not know why she could not check it or ask a supervisor. She put me on hold and I waited for 5 minutes until I gave up. I called this location on Ygnacio Road and they accepted my order. The delivery driver Bradley was polite and friendly. He explained how my area at Cowell/Treat is served by both locations. We have called many times and always get great service. My wife and I are fans of the Italian Combo Supreme and my kids love the bread sticks. We did have a late delivery one night but it was during a big storm. Bradley was our driver again and apologized for the delay. He explained how the rainy nights often bring in many delivery calls. He offered to speak to the manager about a discount on the next order. We ordered again 3 weeks later and they had a note from the manager to give us a discount. We are certainly satisfied customers. Keep up the good work. read more

We called the Clayton Round Table restaurant recently and attempted to order a King Arthur Supreme. The rather rude employee informed me that they were out of salami, sausage, linguisa and hamburger. She went to say that she could still make a King Arthur Supreme but it wouldn't have those ingredients. Ok, that made no sense to me! I inquired about other supreme pizzas and was informed that they'd been busy and had little ingredients. What type of restaurant runs out of so many products? If I could give this place -10000 I would. I Ordered 12 piece wings from this place to pickup at 6:15, got there at 6:30 and when I went to pick up there was only 1 other person in line. They didn't acknowledge me for 10 mins, then finally they got to me at 6:40 and I told them I was there for pickup, they hadn't even started my order and said it would be another 8 mins. I didn't get them until 7pm. No apology or compensation for the wait. I Don't recommend ordering pickup or delivery here since all my delivery orders have been also been significantly late and that's why I tried pick up today. Also side note: Once a delivery driver (that was 30 min late past the 50 min waiting time) wouldn't allow me to sign a receipt (where I usually write the tip) and so I couldn't tip him because I didn't have any cash. Then I got a call from Round table 3 weeks later saying that they wanted to see if I tipped a delivery driver that day because they found that the driver had tipped himself $10. They refunded me but had to have me come in the store to do so. read more

Had to call after 2 hours with no show. A lady confirmed my order was on the way. Then I received a call 30 min later only to be told that my order has been canceled due to my location being too far. Worst Round Table ever! Online order took 1.5 hours. 2 calls to check on delivery and no apology for the delay, just excuse of "we are really busy". Pizza arrived smashed and when I called to void the order again no apology. Pizza was also colder and looked like it had sat for a bit. I have called them, left note in the note area and asked them in person to cook the pizza a bit longer but each time the pizza is white under cooked so I have to do it again at home. We went here for their lunch buffet back in June and had a bad experience... So we waited several months to go back and try it again. First, we went for the lunch buffet again and it was a much better experience. The food was made to a high standard, the garlic twists were baked to perfection, and they kept everything fairly well stocked throughout the hour we were there. Since then we have been eating here about once a month, using the $25.99 deal that includes a large two topping pizza and 6 garlic twists. The garlic twists are my favorite and this is exactly the type of pizza we would order normally. It's a really good deal when you're factoring in that their large pizzas with 2 toppings and 6 twists would normally be about $37-38. Lately it seems like they've hired new people to work the registers and they're all really friendly and helpful. The pizza has always been made with care and tastes great. Round Table has always been our favorite pizza, but we've limited how often we go there since it can be pricey. With this coupon it's now a reasonable price range and we've been happy with the product! The coupon ends tomorrow so we'll see what they come up with next. read more

I've eaten here before and after the renovation. The staff has always been considerate with the ladies in my knitting group. The food selection is soooo much better since the renovation. The Salad bar is constantly attended to and filled as necessary by the staff. The back room behind the barn doors is very nice. The window room is also very nice. Parking is pretty good in front and back. I've recommended this location to lots of my family and friends and everyone who tried has been impressed. read more

I was in this RTP early last evening, ordering a turkey club sandwich - after waiting 20 minutes (I was the only patron in the establishment) for the kitchen staff to stop joking around & prepare my (ordered & paid for) sandwich, I walked out. Two weeks ago, I was in this RTP, ordering a ham club sandwich & received in within 10 minutes (wonderful). Having said that, it was the lamest sandwich I had ever experienced - 1 thin slice of ham & 1 thin slice of cheese (certainly not worth $6.49). The handsome seven year old was hungry after attending a dance party at his school. He said he wanted pizza and Round Table was nearby. So we stopped and ordered a personal size cheese bacon pizza. This place was the unfriendliest Roundtable I've ever been to. The guys in the kitchen didn't seem too enthusiastic about their jobs. No greetings when we enter. They seemed so busy when there was only three customers eating at the time of our visit. When the guy at the counter told the guy in the kitchen our order, he seemed to want to just do original crust. I just said yes because we were in a hurry and this order is for my son and I know he would be okay with original crust. We sat down and the table was wet and dirty. We went to the bathroom and it was okay. One of the soap dispensers was empty. We were promised 15 minutes since it was already in the oven and we got it in about 10 minutes. So hooray for that! The pizza was good. It's more than enough for a 7 year old. Of course, I had a slice. It was tasty and the bacon was plenty. So three stars. The tab was $7.99. Had a hunger for pizza after picking up my kids from school. Ordered a pepperoni & sausage pizza, regular crust. 15 minutes, no problem. $16 for a small 6-slice pizza. ($13.99 + $1.59 for 2nd topping). Picked up our pizza and headed home. Initially, looked good but a small 9-inch pizza for the $16. Good spread of toppings. Original crust though was soggy. Cheese they used tasted funny - don't know where they source their cheese from. Very little sauce that I could see so I couldn't tell how good the sauce was, if there was any sauce underneath that cheese. (Note: a great tasting New York style pizza is all about the sauce and cheese) So my two kids and I shared six small slices. My son noted "we could have gotten eight slices of pizza at New York Pizza for $16." (Note 2: when you buy a slice of pizza from New York Pizza in Pleasant Hill for $4.25, it's like two slices of pizza everywhere else.) My kids and I rated this Round Table pizza a 4-4.5.
