I love the Motorhead Detroit style pizza! There's a generous amount of mushrooms, pepperoni, bacon bits, sausage and ricotta cheese. It's well worth the $8.20/slice and you'll be full. I grabbed two slices recently and ended up splitting it across two meals. The crust along the pizza edge is gold! The Combo Americano is another one of my favorites here and is topped with pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, bacon, salami, and tomatoes. I've also ordered their New York style pizzas as well - Pepperoni and cheese are always favorites for the family. However, if you're at Slice House, you have to try their Detroit Style pizzas! Service here is decent overall...nothing particularly memorable. Be sure to join their rewards program to accumulate points and earn rewards. There is a $5 off your first order coupon just for signing up. However, the fine print isn't clear and it's off of a $16+ order.

The ONLY critique I could give was that the Pappardelle Bolognese was admittedly dry and could have used some more sauce or pasta water. Otherwise it was still delicious. The topping was not crisp and tasted a lot like nutmeg but I couldn't taste cinnamon. It was like eating moist oats with some seasoning. I don't know if it contained the brown sugar, but it didn't seem like it did nor did I taste butter. The apples were OK but a bit overcooked. BEWARE! I have eaten at this Papa John's Pizza twice and both times they double charged my credit card. When I asked to have the double charge refunded back to me (which anyone would do), both times I had to follow up several times to get my money refunded back to me. I was nice both times this happened. However, when I called another time after that to request a delivery order, they put me on hold for a long time. So I hung up and called back. When they answered my call, they were very rude and told me they couldn't serve me and hung up on me. I was upset since I did nothing wrong and I wanted to know the reason why they said they couldn't serve me. When I called back to ask why they wouldn't serve me, they told me they couldn't serve me because I was "trash". Unbelievable!!!!! So unprofessional!!!!! I wouldn't give this place any stars except that I have to give something so the review can be posted. I would give this place zero stars because the staff workers are verbally abusive and extremely unprofessional. I have never dealt with anything like this from a restaurant. PLEASE! If you considering work here DON'T do it I worked for them for like a month and decided to quit for different reasons but the owner doesn't want to pay me the hours I worked and the tips I made for that period of time. I tried to talk to him in person but he acted as a child, he was ignoring me all the time and he said he won't pay me tips because "their policy" that I didn't work for a long period of time and that he gave that money to the other employees (which is not true, because I asked them). I scheduled and paid over the phone a day in advance for 10 boxes of pizza for a party. I even confirmed the exact time with the manager. The order never arrived. When I called to ask what happened, they told me they were sorry but didn't know what to do because the driver didn't show up. I was left without the pizza in the middle of my event, and it caused a huge problem. Why would we trust there to be a "next time" when this was the perfect opportunity to show good customer service? A sincere apology should have been the bare minimum. Since none was offered, I asked if they could comp the pizza, which is a common way restaurants handle situations like this. Looking back, I wonder if my joke was taken personally because the two men working appeared to be balding. Oopsy. If so, that wasn't my intention, I was simply trying to lighten an awkward situation. He said he couldn't refund the pizza but offered to make us a new one. We waited while they remade it, and just before we left, we finally received a simple apology. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What matters is how they're handled. Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed, and because of how it was addressed, we won't be returning. We genuinely wanted to support a local business, but customer service matters just as much as the food. Please do better.
