A little pizza joint in WC that seems to fly under the radar. Seems like a IYKYK type of place. The staff is very friendly and the pizza is delicious. The pizza dough is the perfect texture and the crust is so good!! You can order pizza whole or by the slice. We did 1 North End pizza and a few slices of cheese and Margherita for the kiddos. There isn't a ton of seating, so next time, we'll probably order for pick up, but I'm glad we finally checked it out.

A great place to grab a slice and a root beer, pizza was great, service was amazing, check it out if your in the area, I also had fun painting the Holiday Window art mural. Thanks for supporting local artist www.ChrsGranilloArt.com

My doctor wanted to test me for my reaction to gluten. Can do! I said. I stopped into panCoast pizza and ordered a pepperoni slice to-go. It took less than a minute to heat and they gave it to me in a personal pan-pizza sized box. The service was friendly and prompt and they had 3-4 styles to choose from for the single slices. They also have student discounts and quite a bit of inside seating (though no seating outside). I headed out and found a sunny spot to sit in, took a bite and adored my slice! I tend to love thin New York style pizza and this was perfectly done with just the right amount of cheese, pepperoni, and crunch. It was mouthwatering and absolutely delicious. All in all, five stars down the line and I will definitely be coming back for another slice!

    Legit NYC slices.

I am an ex-NY pizza snob jerkface and I'm here to say this is the best slice I have found in California. I've stalked slices from San Diego to SF and this is straight up NYC perfection. The one to beat, nothing has come close. I was driving from Sac to Monterey and made this special stop and now I have a reason to return to the area. Just stellar.

Not the pasta I ordered :(

Ordered food for take out through yelp and it was "meh" at best. Pizza arrived cold, salad "family" portion was small with very little dressing. Originally ordered tomato and meatballs and they sent me another small salad instead. I called them to let them know of their mistake and was asked if I wanted to tell my door dasher to come back??? I have no control of that so how would I do that?? lol. Then he asked "so what do you want to do" a refund duh! So now I have to wait 2-3 days. Hopefully he remember to ask his boss. Sigh.

I've passed by this place a few times and finally had the chance to try it. They have a M-F student special for $5 and there's also a Kaiser combo too! Service was great here and they were very nice and gave some recs too. The inside is comfy and cozy and gives an old school vibe. Great for families and a lot of locals. There is a parking lot outside along with street parking. I came in a weekday night and was able to get parking immediately. I tried quite a few things and loved them all. The thick cheese pizza my grandma loved. I tried their arugula salad it was very well made. The garlic knots were the perfect texture. The wings had heat and a kick paired perfectly went their dipping sauce. I tried their combo pizza 12 inch and it was plenty to share! Affordable priced and great for a hangout or casual date.

Welp never coming in here again. I've been a long time customer at this establishment since they opened literally as soon as they opened, and it was a little tiny shop. I just stopped in to get a piece of pizza and look how small it is. What a joke. They also change the pepperoni to the little stupid ones. It's too bad Bob would've never done that. I'm taking my money elsewhere. Could've went up the street to Slice House and got a giant piece of pizza for the same price.

Nice spot at the end of downtown. Nice selection of pies, with some less common options. Super friendly staff and customers. Easy to park at the high school if it's on-hours.

I've been craving that thin-crust, NYC-style pizza and came across Pan Coast Pizza in Walnut Creek, CA. @PanCoast_Pizza. I ordered a dozen wings, fried to perfection--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For the pizza, I went with an 18-inch, half Ben Franklin and half Meatzazola. The amount of meat on such a thin crust was impressive! A sprinkle of red pepper flakes made it even better. I also love that they serve local sodas from Oakland. My go-to mix? Cola, root beer, and cream soda. If you're ever in Walnut Creek, definitely check them out! Pan Coast pizza on Main Street, Walnut Creek, CA.

I'm a lover, big time. Sure, the items available are definitely not cheap. My salad was $18, but chock full of high-quality ingredients. So scrumptious/fresh-smelling. There is an up charge if you want to add protein, of course. I got a seasonal selection. The Alice Waters' Peach & Goat Cheese Salad. Comes with lemon-tarragon dressing. It's tangy and very tasty. The bowl that you pay for is sizable, and you might not finish the whole thing in one sitting. But it's easy to put in the fridge to be stored/ enjoyed later. I got terrific customer service, and didn't experience any issue. The store was clean and the staff members were welcoming, helpful, and eager.

I've been a Sweetgreen customer since the original Mountain View location opened roughly 15 years…read moreago. Today was the worst customer service experience I've ever had at any Sweetgreen. I specifically requested a bowl for dine in because I strongly dislike eating out of the compostable cardboard containers. They affect the taste and overall dining experience for me. When I asked for a bowl, I was told none were available. The problem was that I could clearly see bowls in the restaurant. I was told they were "dirty" and unavailable. I also observed bowls being used for wrap preparation. I pointed out that there were other bowls visible, including plastic and porcelain bowls, but Store Manager Julia repeatedly cited "store policy" and offered no solution whatsoever. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of effort to accommodate a loyal customer. No attempt to wash a bowl. No alternative suggestion. No effort to find a manager-level solution. Just a flat "no." As a result, my wife ate her salad, my daughter ate her wrap, and I sat there watching because I refused to eat from the cardboard container. I've happily supported Sweetgreen for over 15 years, but after today's experience, that relationship is over. Other fast-casual restaurants like MIXT and Tender Greens have no issue providing proper dine-in bowls and plates when customers request them. The issue wasn't the bowl. It was the attitude, the unwillingness to help, and a manager who seemed more interested in hiding behind policy than solving a customer problem. After 15 years as a customer, I expected better. UPDATE: Sweetgreen responded with a generic, copy-and-paste apology that did not address any of the questions raised in this review. Specifically: * Does Sweetgreen provide dine in bowls or not? * Why are dine in bowls prominently featured in Sweetgreen's advertising and app if customers cannot use them? * Why was no attempt made to wash a bowl or otherwise accommodate a dine in customer? * Was Store Manager Julia correctly applying Sweetgreen policy, or was this simply poor customer service? I am still waiting for an answer.

The food was just as good as expected, but the overall experience was disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for our order, even though it didn't seem especially busy and there didn't appear to be any sense of urgency from the staff. When our food was finally ready, no one brought it out or called it to our table, so it ended up sitting while we waited. On top of that, many of the tables were dirty, making it difficult to find a clean place to sit. The food quality is still great, but the slow service and lack of attention to the dining area made this visit much less enjoyable than the other Gott's locations I've been to.

They save your table for two hours, but then after we left, the line was still out the door. The restaurant is very reminiscent at old-school steakhouses. The interior ambience has an old-school charm with some nice upgrades and is very bright with nice green velvet couches that are comfortable to sit at. All the servers were very nice and patient with us even when they were super busy; our server Josh was very attentive. Good wine bottle prices starting at $40 didn't get a chance to try the cocktails but the prices are higher ag $15-$18. We ordered several starters to share for the table. Our favorite was the ricotta with olives. Very unique starter I haven't had that before and perfect mix of sweet savory with the honey in it too. They also give a basket of bread for the table, which was a nice touch. Also got an order of the zucchini fries, which is definitely a must have. It's that huge dish that the servers bring around with the mound of green fries on top of it fried perfectly and with a great seasoning. We got several different options for our mains. My friends really enjoyed the whole Bronzino with head on. I had the scallop dish which came with a very tasty corn and bacon risotto. Only three smaller pieces of scallop though so not worth the $44 imo. My other friends had the prime rib dip, which was tasty and the pork chop, which was also recommended by the server as an undercover dish that people don't order, but is surprisingly very good. Most of the meat dishes come with an additional side that you can choose. I like that they give you option options for ravioli spaghetti sides, instead of the typical fries or mashed potatoes. We also ordered two desserts the cheesecake which was highly recommended. It tasted like a soufflé cheesecake. It was very soft and fluffy. We also got the donuts which came with 2 different dipping sauces. The donuts were OK nothing extraordinary. Overall, had a very nice meal with friends would recommend going with a small group as they have great starters to share. I think I'll order the fish next time. I'm not partial to me, but they have a lot of meat dishes that looked exceptional. Park for three hours free in the Broadway parking plaza.
