Vinnie's Pizzeria is still a local spot we keep coming back to! The pizza is genuinely good. The flavors are satisfying, the bread has that fresh, quality bite to it, and when everything comes together, it really hits the spot. It's an easy family favorite, especially if you're already out doing errands or business in the plaza :) One honest note, though. Our last few visits left us a little disappointed with the toppings. They've felt pretty light lately. For example, if you order a mushroom pizza, or even mushroom as one of only two toppings, you naturally expect a solid amount, right? Not really. A couple of times it left me wishing there had been more, and honestly even thinking about adding my own at home because I already knew it might happen again :/ That said, it's still worth it. The base is tasty, the bread quality is there, and it's one of those dependable neighborhood spots that works especially well for families and kids. I wanted pizza but wanted to try a new place so my kids and checked out this place. Ordered one pepperoni and one rockaway and some garlic knots. When we arrived our pizzas were ready and we decided to sit in the little tables outside to eat it. My kids said they really liked the pepperoni and they gave it a "10/10" and they liked the garlic knots too! The rockaway was good but I didn't love that the jalapeños were jarred ones, I like fresh but that's just my preference. Also, they didn't have crushed red peppers and pizza without it, for me, is just not the same. All in all, it was good and I liked the thin crust, I don't know if/when I will return simply because they don't have any seating (aside from a few tables outside) and I don't live in town. read more

It was friends birthday over the weekend and they chose to have this pizza place to cater for us. I never heard of them, but I am always down to try new pizza. From what they told me, the pizzas only come as one size and man I was surprised to see what arrived. The slices are huge. There were three options ordered, but I opted for the Margarita and Combo Slice. Margarita: This is your normal "cheese" sort of pizza, with lots of cheeses and basil. It was really good and refreshing and not too oily. It was a thin crust slice, so holding it was a bit tricky but I still enjoyed the pizza itself. Previous orders from several months ago have always been 4 star quality; however, today the pizza crust was tough, ingredients were not evenly distributed and one portion of the pizza was way too salty to enjoy. DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I stumbled across Vinnie's while looking for a place to eat pizza before going to the movies for a date. We were nearby, saw the reviews here on Yelp, and took ourselves over to see for ourselves what all the good stuff was about. Staff are so nice and you tell they work hard to make this pizza what it is! We ordered the margherita pizza and garlic knots and immediately knew the food was 5/5! I found this place on yelp and we decided to try a new restaurant. There's a big parking lot and a lot of small shops. This place is right on a corner. We went on a Friday at 5pm. So it's not a restaurant where you can eat. It's very small but there's no tables. The menu is right on top where you can read it. So the menu had slices of pizza but they didn't let me order that. The cashier told me after 4pm they don't sell slices. We ordered a large margarita pizza it was about $30. We waited about 35 minutes. The pizza was a pretty good size and was very good. I found my new local favorite. The pizza here is exceptional. Sauce is tangy but not too sweet. The crust is thin and cooked perfectly. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. And the slices are fat. The deserts are good, tried Sicilian canoli for the first time and enjoy it. The best part about the pizza is that it Isn't greasy. And the bottom of the pizza doesn't get all soggy. I go to the taekwondo dojang near Vinnie's and I always saw them as I came to and left class. I always wanted to check them out, but never had an opportunity to until just now. For a first-timer, the employees were super helpful and patient and suggested getting one of their basic pizzas, a combination, pepperoni, or cheese. They also told me that they can do half-and-half if I wanted, so I ordered a half-and-half combo and pepperoni, a ham calzone, and some cannoli after the staff recommended it. The dough is the foundation of a good pizza, and I loved how airy and light the dough was. You could tell it was made in-house, and the combo pizza was the king. The toppings were a winning combo (pun very much intended), and it was just a delight. The pepperoni was a bit greasy and salty, so I can't say I enjoyed it too much. The calzone fell apart, but dipped in the marinara and it wasn't too salty. I think the ricotta did a really good job undercutting the ham's saltiness. Additionally, I'd never had cannoli before, but I'm hooked. One of the best compliments an Asian person can give about a dessert is it's not too sweet. I loved the huge chocolate chips, but how it wasn't overly sweet. That's a credit to the orange zest for stopping the ricotta from being too cloy. This is also a credit to the staff because I explained that because I never had cannoli before, I didn't know how to store it or for how long it would keep. They told me to keep it in the freezer for two weeks, so I'll follow their instructions. Aside from the customers ordering, picking up, or calling, and the ovens cooking and baking the food, the place is not too loud. They don't have tables inside, but there are some outside, but keep in mind that your miles may vary depending on if customers from the other businesses in that strip mall are sitting there. We have been wanting to try Vinnie's for a while and decided to give it a try tonight for dinner. We made a custom order and now I wish I had taken a picture of it because it was so beautiful when we opened the box. I picked up two orders of spaghetti and meatballs to go last Thursday. When you order the spaghetti and meatball dish, you get to meatballs and three garlic knots. Currently priced at $10.50. The meatballs are always moist and almost melt in your mouth. The sauce is well balanced and very tasty. Spaghetti is cooked al dente. They heat the garlic knots up in the pizza oven right before you pick your pasta up. The kitchen crew there is always happy and very helpful. The owner is the son of the owner of Sbarro's. I did not have pizza on this visit but, I always enjoy one of their pies or the Sicilian sliced squares which they have every Wednesday. I have been driving past this business for ages and never thought to try it. So finally we decided to give it a try. The ordering system online was very easy- although the system was having issues and asked me to put in my info multiple times. I got there at 6:05pm. There was plenty of parking, walked in and was greeted by the gentleman at the register, and picked up my pizza quickly and left. The pizza itself is thin crust and rather delicious. New Year's Eve With Vinnie! It's only fitting that we finally check out Vinnie Pizzeria, Brooklyn Style pizza, to close out the year since the biggest annual TV show event on New Year's Eve happens in NY. So glad we did! Been reading about this Pizzeria on Yelp for some time now. So today, I put on my rain jacket and face the nasty weather to pick up the online order of Manhattan pizza, NY combination and garlic knots. I drove about 12 nasty miles wet weather and it was worth it. The Manhattan was delicious and tasted similar to the Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Brooklyn. We just love the white sauce and this one was on point. The garlic knots were pillows in heaven. Springy texture and tender dough with just perfect garlic and butter flavoring. I can snack on these all day. Unfortunately the NY combination was just okay with us. For now its a 4-Star since we haven't tried the other pies. But it's a great start! This is a small pizzeria with mostly take out a a small outdoor seating. We went here on Friday afternoon on a mild early Oct. As my 3 yr old was napping, we ordered a pizza (see pic) to eat in. My 8yr old likes the cheese pizza (her preference), while my wife and I ate the half with toppings. Brooklyn style is thin crust with a soft pie. It's tasty, a bit chewy, cooked just right. Ran errands while waiting the quoted "20-30 minutes", but when we got there found it was locked and closed. Stopped in for some pizza with the family after seeing all the great reviews and have found our new favorite local pizza shop! I know I say that every time I try a new pizza place lol, but seriously, Vinnie's Pizzeria was fantastic! Located in the shopping center off Alhambra ave. --across the street from Safeway and the drive thru Starbucks, Vinnie's Pizzeria is locally owned and operated by Vinnie and his crew. It's more of a takeaway pizza shop as the inside is too small for seating. However, there are several tables and chairs outside if you want to eat there. Vinnie helped us figure out what to order and was all around very attentive, which was awesome. We ordered the 14in Brownstone ($23) Sausage, pepperoni, bacon and ham, the 14in Margherita ($23) fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil, olive oil, a personal ham and pineapple ($9) +$1 per topping. The personal isn't on the menu but can be made, we also got an order of the cheese ravioli which included 3 garlic knots ($8.50) , a couple of drinks and some cannoli ($5.50 for 3). We waited less than 20 minutes for our order and were all around stoked on how GOOD the pizza was. You can tell a quality pizza based on the freshness of the ingredients. The crust on all of the pizzas had the perfect combination of soft and chewy with crispy bits. The Brownstone and the Ham and Pineapple were both delicious- we will definitely order them again, but the Margherita was everyone's favorite. The garlic knots were also fresh and yummy. My son had the order of cheese ravioli and said it was good but tasted like something I've made at home, will likely skip this next time. The cannoli were frozen, we let it thaw a bit and omg... so good! The shells were crunchy and the ricotta filling had just the right amount of sweetness with a hint of orange. We initially got one order just to try it and went back for more. Yum! We weren't sure if we ordered enough food as there were 7 of us, but it was more than enough. The 14" pizzas were big, even the personal size pizza was much bigger than we expected. We happily took some leftover slices home. Can't wait to go back and order the Margherita again and try everything else on the menu, especially the strombolis, calzones and the tiramisu .
