I am a bit biased, as I grew up getting Round Table delivery in La Canada... and quite frequently. Of all the pizza chains, Round Table has stood above the rest, and truly has withstood the test of time. All the other joints make you feel funky afterwards... Papa John's sucks, Pizza Hut/Domino's/Little Caesars are all trash. The runner-up I would say is Big Mama's & Papa's... but I digress... This location has ALWAYS been consistent with getting our orders right, making a quality pizza, cutting the thing well, and accepting our coupons and giving us the best deal possible. The pizzas are tasty, quality, and while they are pricier than the other chains, you get what you pay for... just make sure to couple it with a coupon, and you'll feel better about it! read more

When it comes to a franchise, our go to was Domino's, cheap and easy but we took a chance on Round Table, read it on the Burbank Restaurant FB page it was good, and it is!!! So fantastic!! The employees seem a little odd and strange, except the Hispanic cook...she is nice and friendly. My wife and I went here Saturday around 7pm. We got a Wombo Combo medium pizza. The girl behind the counter was surly. Maybe she was bummed to be working on a Saturday, I don't know. This location is kinda gross. Pretty dirty and run down, the carpet looks to be at least 20 years old. But the pizza was the bomb! It was really good! We were really surprised that it was great considering the condition of the place and the abysmal customer service at the front. This review pertains only to the weekday lunch buffet served M-F 11 AM to 2 PM. Drinks are extra and beer is available. As was said earlier, the variety of items is smaller than the similar lunch buffet at Shakey's. But the quality of food here far surpasses Shakey's. The salad bar has the normal offerings but it also has real bacon bits instead of those artificial ones made of texturized soy protein. There were also fresh mushrooms, broccoli, grape tomatoes pepperoncini, sunflower seeds and a choice of salad dressings including an outstanding blue cheese dressing. They also had chocolate pudding which I didn't try. For both flavor and texture, I liked the pizza here much better than either at Shakey's or a lot of other pizza joints I've been to. There was one exception which was a sweet tasting variety that just did not suit my taste. But unless you are super picky, there was enough variety in the pizzas set out on the buffet to satisfy just about anyone. All told, it was a very satisfying lunch and the $6.99 price makes it a very good value. read more

The only other pizza place I can think of in the area that has a lunch buffet is Shakey's and Round Table is leagues ahead of them in quality. Lunch buffet always has a changing variety, including gourmet veggie, bbq chicken and Hawaiian as well as the basics. Salad bar included too! Great Pizza! I have always loved Round Table pizza since I was a kid. It has long since been bought out and converted into another pizza chain back home. When I moved to Burbank I was excited when I drove by one. At first, I was a little hesitant since I noticed so many poor reviews on customer service. Especially about one girl in particular. I decided to order delivery and it was great. Ordered delivery a few more times as well and was completely happy. Well, today I decided I would dine in since I was getting my taxes prepped next door. I was greeted by Vana, the night shift manager, and he was very courteous. My food was brought to me quickly, all the staff was very friendly, and they were happy to comply with our requests and returned quickly with a smile. We've had MULTIPLE ISSUES with this branch but have put up with it because we like Round Table Pizza. No longer!! We placed an order for a certain type of pizza and were delivered a cheese pizza instead. We called the restaurant with the email confirmation and everything. We were passed around to 3 or 4 different people and I assume we ultimately ended up with the owner. He was absolutely adamant that we only ordered a cheese pizza. This is simply 100% not true! We were looking right at the receipt and he simply refused to acknowledge that he got the order wrong. There's no gray area here...he's completely wrong! Times are hard for restaurants now and I almost think that he's trying to save money by not having to correct the order. We don't get pizza from this place that often and I can honestly say that they've screwed up our order in one way or another about 60% of the time. It's too bad. Well, Round Table ruined Pi Day. Luckily, Fresh & Easy is in the same parking lot to save the day. We placed an online order, and when we got to Round Table, the person behind the counter said that they didn't have the order. The cashier guy did offer to enter the order, but at an original pickup time of 7:35pm, waiting an additional 20 minutes was getting too late. BTW, Fresh & Easy has organic pizzas now. My husband and I are from Tucson, and we both remember going to Round Table Pizza. If you went back in the early 90's you probably remember the dark environment with the Knights shields on the wall etc. Sadly this one and all of them I have seen in California do not have the same ambiance. However the pizza is still fantastic. We went with a group of 8 including children and didn't have to wait to sit down. The games were mostly in good working order, and the bathrooms are clean. Now more about the Pizza, it was not too greasy, I think the sauce was just right and the crust was not soggy. It is, puffy...is the best way I can describe it. This location needs re-management. The man who took the order was overly eager, seemed sleezy, and made it feel like we were buying a used car, not a pizza. When we walked in it was 1/2 from the end of happy hour, yet he only had a few soggy pieces of pizza left and said we had to buy one if we wanted something better. GIven how dirty he seemed I should have turned around but I sadly trusted the brand. No more. Then, the creepy cashier said he had to "force my credit card through" as he put it, because the card reader didn't work. I wasn't given a chance to cancel my order or deny him hacking the card reader in front of me. To my SHOCK -- 1 large 2-topping pizza and two drinks came out to THIRTY THREE DOLLARS!?!?!?! I visited the bathroom and graffiti was scratched everywhere and a employee was grooming himself so I left. Another employee was passed out on a couch/booth the entire time we were there. Then, a very angry looking man resentfully came and threw our pizza at us at the table. I counted 5 employees in a store with 2 customers and all looked jacked up. The pizza was not cooked to order and was underdone even though we asked for well done three times. The cheese was definitely fake cheese because it was so rubbery. Took his dirty (he was washing down the tables with a dirty rag), ungloved hands and picked up the handful of croutons on the counter and tossed them BACK INTO THE CONTAINER! I said "No no you throw those away that is pretty nasty" he just shrugged and walked away. So i went to the guy at the register, who I assumed was the owner/mgr, and told him, he said he'd replace them. Tossed the salad that i had on my plate into the trash. Then the guy who was washing tables, goes back to put out a pizza, he doesn't wash his hands or put gloves on and cuts / handles the pizza. My son is hungry, he eats said pizza and after two bites finds a hair!! Good Lord. But being a kid tossed it on the ground totally grossed out before I could tell him not to so I could show the guy. I go to the mgr / owner and tell him "Sir, my son has now just found a hair in his pizza, the salad bar issue and other things I've seen happening here, I am not comfortable eating here and would like my $22 back". so my foodie partner in crime has been craving round table pizza for a bit and unfortunately, the one by our house closed down a while ago. luckily this one isn't too far from us either. we had survived an extremely hard workout at the gym, so thought sunday was the perfect day to go stuff our faces. we arrived and it was buffet time! hello! i love it. it's like 7 bucks for all you can eat. i ended up with a huge salad and a few slices of 'za. my bf ordered a medium bacon/pepperoni pizza. the crust here is delicious! the sauce is definitely better than other places. i love it. i'm new to the world of round table and thankfully i'm a convert. with all the food we got, it only was 26 bucks and we had leftovers for the next day. i consider that a bargain and half for delicious pizza. plenty of parking in the stripmall. also, the guy who works/i assume owns this round table is super helpful and friendly. read more
