Just opened today. It used to be Poppa O's then 4200 pizza (for six months) now it's Round Table and everything is shiny new again. I haven't been to a round table since I was little and really remember nothing. The pizza is good crispy thin crust. The chicken and wedges are average.It's a little expensive if you're not getting the lunch buffet or a combo. The lunch buffet is 5.99. They also have a little salad bar. Service is fine, especially for the first day. They have a little game room with prizes and a separate room for parties. read more

So I normally don't leave reviews but after having Sydney wait on me today I just kinda had to. She was so kind and hospitable which is something that you don't see anymore. Her energy and attitude to work hard and make the customers happy was above and beyond what I would imagine for a pizza parlor! Highly impressed by this employee and I hope to god you give this girl a raise or management position because with an attitude like hers you will make a lot of people happy. No I have never met this person before I'm just happy there's still good people out there and sometimes it's nice to be acknowledged for it! read more

We usually enjoy round table pizza. Customer service at this store is very lacking. Went in for lunch today, ordered the large double play pepperoni that according to the app, the sign in the store AND the stack of fliers sitting right next to the register on the counter was on special for $19.99. Ordered the pizza and 1 drink and was told the total was over $30!!! I asked if that was with the special and was told that we had to have a coupon for that special!?!!!!! We showed the cashier the flier on the counter, the handwritten sign and told her it was on the app as well!! Still told us we had to have a coupon. Cancelled our order and walked out and spent our money on a local pizza place. Very disappointed in our experience today. Don't know that we will be coming back to this location. read more

After our experience on Saturday I really wish there was a way to rate someone zero stars. We attended a birthday party for my nephew which started at 11. Three preordered pizzas were to be ready for the children, and adults were to order themselves. My order was placed at 11:23, the first of the preordered pizzas did not come out until after 12 pm, at 12:30 when I still didn't have my order (a four slice personal pizza) I went and demanded a refund. At this point I was ready to leave and couldn't wait any longer in a hot room without AC running. When I walked up to the cashier there were at least ten other people doing the same, demanding refunds. There was a nice woman with short blonde hair who took over and did her best to accommodate everyone, and quite frankly made everything better... until the owner decided to come in. He had the audacity to tell my sister that she should have paid him more money if she wanted the AC lowered. When asked for a refund for the entire party he told my brother in law to get the fuck out of his store.. in front of children, nonetheless. It saddens me because the big issue here, them being understaffed and not being able to handle the demands of the party, was addressed and we were all understanding. It cost nothing for a person to be kind, and the stubborn owner couldn't take responsibility for his shortcomings in how he runs his business. read more

I want to say ahead I do really enjoy their pizza. This is based on service and their app menu to store menu to prices at this store. Made an online order through the Slice app. It said it would be ready at 6:06pm. I get there and get a notification through the app that my order has been cancelled. I asked why it was cancelled and they could not answer the question. So I reordered my order and then they tried to charge me more for the same thing but because certain items were not on their menu anymore. Sounds like a bait and switch. Order the cheaper version online then get your order cancelled then go in to get charged more because it's not on their menu anymore. I ordered wedges and they charged me for boneless wings which were a $1 more than the wedges but then not tell me about it till I see it on my receipt and then asks me if I would like a refund or not. Damn right I want a refund for something I didn't pay for!!! Now I'm waiting twice as long for my order. Sounds like the owners aren't updating their website to reflect correct items or prices which is causing people to be over charged and not being told about it, unless they notice it. It is now 6:40pm and I'm still waiting for my medium pizza and two orders of wedges. 6:42pm asked about my order and they are "checking on it" 6:43pm they said 4-5 mins tops till it's ready, which it should've been ready around 6:06 pm based off of my first order I made. 6:53pm received my order they upgraded it to a large pizza and gave me extra wedges. With new ownership and management, this has become my favorite pizza place again. All staff are extremely friendly, and practice safe handling of my food, was offered contactless delivery as well. Food arrived hot and fresh. The mozzarella sticks for a side and fresh baked brownies for dessert was amazing. Round Table Pizza is a completely acceptable place to eat pizza if you don't want to go out of your way. They offer a pizza buffet with a disappointingly limited selection. When I visited they had the following options for pizza: cheese, pepperoni, ham and pineapple, supreme, and sausage and olive. I was personally limited because the only topping in the world that I really can't abide is black olives, and it was on two of the five selections. I would have preferred to see at least one pizza showing some creativity, with a pesto sauce or white sauce perhaps. But, Round Table Pizza feels like it's really aiming for the lowest common denominator. There's nothing unique about it, nothing that's trying to separate it from the crowd, which would be fine if the prices were a little lower, but for what they're charging I would expect more variety or a higher quality product. They also offer a salad bar, large fried potatoes, and some dessert sticks. So I can imagine it will hit all the important carb buttons for a lot of us. They also offer a soda machine featuring Pepsi products. Finally, they have a video game machine in the main dining area that blares out a short, loud siren noise once every few minutes. It's obnoxious and I can't believe it hasn't been disabled. If you want a quick place to get your cheap pizza fix, then by all means, enjoy. I think I'll stick to some of the create-your-own pizza restaurants in Bakerfield. read more

I've gone to round table since I was a kid. Was supper happy when Bakersfield finally got them. Tonight was my last time going. First I got hung up on after waiting to order. Then I placed my order online. Garlic supreme, red sauce instead of white. I arrive to pick up and am told they only have 3 people working and they are super busy. It's about 7:20 pm. I wait. I get my pizza, check it. No garlic at all. On the garlic supreme! I ask the lady. She says no. They don't put garlic on it. I could stay and argue. Or go home and feed my kids. I go home. Roundtable Pizza is awesome!!! Usually get the Maui Zuai...which is one of the specialty pizzas. It is soooo good!! The fried chicken is fresh fried to order but is well worth the wait!! The service here is okay, but they are definitely slow. I went here on a Sunday night around 7 pm to attend my friend's 1st birthday party for his son. The place was pretty much empty aside from the private room filled with friends and family, so I was very confused when it took about 30 minutes to receive my order of wedges. When my husband and I arrived at the party, there were already plenty of pizzas served. However, we got there a little late, so some of the pizzas were cold. I decided to go ahead and order a large basket of wedges to share with my husband, and it took 30 minutes to get them. I think the workers actually forgot about my order until I asked them about it 20 minutes after I ordered. So, from there it took them 10 minutes to actually make my wedges. This place was empty aside from the party, and to my knowledge, the hosts weren't ordering any more food. So, I don't think the kitchen was busy. By the time I got my wedges, I wasn't really as hungry because I ate a few slices of pizza. Also, they weren't very appetizing because they were just full of grease. The employees were friendly, but I don't think their friendliness makes up for their forgetfulness. read more

Came back to this place because my son had a football meeting here. my first complaint would be that they gave us the small party room and more than half the parents had to sit outside of the room. We asked if we could have a larger party room which was not being used and the person in charge said no we couldn't, which is sad because we brought a lot of business to this place yesterday. My next complaint would be that we ordered two pizzas, we ate one of them there and the other one we brought home. The one we ate there had a hair in it and we had to return it so they made us another one. You could be waiting on your pizza all they will do is look at you and continue their conversation until they feel like helping you . $17 dollar pizza !! And I got this . Greeted by a nice blonde lady, she was on her way out for delivery a young man cashed me out, the nice blonde lady helped him with my gift card transaction then was on her way out. Worst experience ever. We waited close to 1 and a 1/2 hours before the gal by the name torri came out to check on our table. If it wasnt for her we probably would have waited longer since we were at the table having a good conversation with the family. We ordered a 24 piece of wings and only got 1/2. I attend a club meeting there monthly and, every time, there is an issue with our order. The ownership recently changed & with it the choice of beverages (very few alcoholic options & they replaced name-brand fountain drinks with generic), desserts (no more cookies), & the service went downhill. The last time I visited, their internet was down, so they could only accept cash. They were short-staffed, the line was out the door, & it took AN HOUR to receive the order!!! I had requested that they add chicken to the pizza - they charged for the chicken, but did not add it! We were in the middle of our club meeting so I didn't want to argue or be disruptive (the three birthday parties of screaming kids were already disruptive enough). Despite the order being wrong and taking AN HOUR, it did arrive hot and looked like they used fresh ingredients. On my way out, I did mention the discrepancy in the order & they offered to make us another, but by that time we were heading home & didn't want to wait another hour for a pizza that may or may not be correct. Very disappointing. I want to support the place since they host our club meeting, but I'll be eating before I come from now on & recommending to the club that they find a different meeting location. read more

Probably not the best night to drop in for a quick bite. Waited in a line across the entry way just to place an order. All the tables were occupied or dirty, so we cleaned our own spot to sit and wait(45 minute waiting, glad we had our cups!). When our wedges arrived they were cold, and they brought us ranch, I requested ketchup. The server said she would return with ketchup as well as be right back with the pizza. I will never step foot into this place again! I had my child's party here with about 50 guests in a party room. I got there 30 minutes before the party started and asked for the AC to be turned on and was told "okay" 30 minutes later I asked again because I'm sweating so bad at this point and my guests are fanning themselves with paper plates also asking for the air to be turned on. My three pizzas that I preordered the night before for the kids did not come out until an hour later and they brought them out 30 minutes apart from each other. My guest were getting texts saying that their orders had been canceled! They also unplugged their phones and told EVERYONE in the restaurant it would be a 2 hour wait for food. Half of the pizzas that came out were not what people ordered and they didn't cut half the pizzas. 40 out of 50 of my guests did not get to eat and waited for refunds. The whole entire party I was holding tears back because of how embarrassed I was that everyone was starving, sweating, and complaining. My sons first birthday was completely ruined because of these extremely rude people. When the owner came into the party room and asked what the problem was I told him "everything....." Everyone was starving, and hot and nothing was getting done because they were understaff, and we needed refunds He responded with "I see food on your table, you don't look hungry, why are you complaining?!?? You should pay me more for asking for the air to be turned on so many times!!!" As he saying all of this I start crying because I'm so angry at this point and he tells me "I'm not fucking doing this!" And walked away When my husband told him we needed refunds and to give us our money back he told him "you all need to get the fuck out of my store" in-front of children, babies, and customers I spent so much money, put so much time and effort into this party for it to be completely ruined. They also had another party going on at the same time as my party and it was also a Saturday. I don't know why they wouldn't have more people working knowing they had parties to be taken care of. I am the most understanding person, I get people make mistakes and I am never one to go and bash someone BUT with that being said everyone needs to understand the way round table handles business. My sister booked this room with roundtable for 11 o'clock on Saturday, she booked this room 2-3 weeks in advance and made a plan with the manager that they would decorate this room the night before the party an hour before they close so that we would be able to walk in at 11 with the party and get everything started since we had to be out by 1pm. Friday comes around and my sister calls to make sure she's still allowed to come in at 9pm to decorate and the lady on the phone said "ugh no that's no happening" my sister explained to her that she was told that would be allowed and that we wouldn't have the time to decorate morning of considering they don't open until 11....whatever they allow her to come in and decorate. When she got there the room was dirty, the tables were not cleaned, my sister and her husband had to vaccumm the room themselves. Which wasn't even a big deal, but still unprofessional. The day of the party we all arrive at 11 and walk into the hottest room ever, it's in the back of the building so it was stuffy but we understood they just opened and we needed to allow them time to get AC going, my mom had to ask multiple times before they actually turned it on. My kids were starving, we didn't get any pre-ordered pizzas (that were pre ordered a day before) until after an hour of being here and that was 1 of the 3 pizzas, the other came out 30 min later and the other 15 min after that. Aside from those pre-ordered pizzas, all of the adults ordered their own food upon arriving. We were approaching 1250 and still had no pizzas for the adults and we needed to be out of the room by 1 so everyone started cancelling their orders and getting refunds...everything was STILL okay at this point we were hungry but understanding. It was then when this man (owner?? Idk) came in the room to adjust the AC because it was still so hot in there, had made a comment trying to be funny saying we should be paying him more money for adjusting the AC for our party. How rude and unprofessional to say, first of all but it didn't stop there. My sister said the whole party went to shit and that we were all hungry and he said "you don't look hungry" My brother in law went and confronted the man for his rude comment to my sister and told the man he wanted his refund for the party and the man told him "everyone get the fuck out" WHICH WE DID AND DONT PLAN ON EVER GOING BACK A wonderful day for us to remember for my nephew, ruined. read more
