I miss the pizza buffets of my childhood. I love that these guys have a salad bar. I love making random weird choices. Chickpeas and balsamic vinaigrette? Sure! Where were the bacon bits and chow mein noodles though? The pizza was a struggle though. When we arrived there were two out. 30min later it was the same two. After talking to a worker they quickly got things going. By the time we left there was more of a crowd and pizzas were coming out pretty regularly. Prices seemed a bit high, but that's CA I guess. The moral of the story is don't be the early bird at this place. read more

Just opened today. It used to be Poppa O's then 4200 pizza (for six months) now it's Round Table and everything is shiny new again. I haven't been to a round table since I was little and really remember nothing. The pizza is good crispy thin crust. The chicken and wedges are average. It's a little expensive if you're not getting the lunch buffet or a combo. The lunch buffet is 5.99. They also have a little salad bar. Service is fine, especially for the first day. They have a little game room with prizes and a separate room for parties. read more

Pizza was good. (Good as opposed to better and best.) I would come back. I'd like to see what they will be like fully functioning with a safe-serve salad bar and buffet back in order. read more

The guy taking my order over the phone was really nice and helpful! They have good employees at this location getting the job done! Round Table Pizza is pricier than other places in town, but it's quality pizza with better toppings. :) The only sad thing is corporate got rid of potato wedges and replaced them with fries. The new fries are still tasty, though! read more

ROUND TABLE PIZZA - Very Disappointing Experience Went to reserve rooms for soccer team meetings at the Round Table Pizza at the Gosford location in Bakersfield and was very disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism from the staff as they seem to confabulate one story to the next. I was told that there is a deposit of $75 to use the meeting room which isn't unusual. What is unusual is that the deposit can not be used towards foods. I asked for clarification that in the past, deposits could be used towards the purchase of foods. Was informed that it could not be used for foods and non-refundable. I stated that it sounded more like a "Rental Fee". I think that's very dishonest to call it a deposit when it is really a rental fee. Many people will not know this and lose $75 as deposits are required in advance. So Regardless of how this franchise chooses to conduct their business, I am very disappointed with the inconsistencies of statements as worker after worker told inconsistent statements. I Asked to speak to the manager (Francisco) and never received a callback for clarification. From this point on, Premier soccer will not conduct any business with the Round Table Pizza located on Gosford. An absolutely disappointing experience as when you ask for clarification due to the multiple inconsistencies of statements, you become the bad person. Anyhow, will be moving to a new location of Mountain Mike's Pizza and Magoos Pizza. I'm sorry to write a bad experience at the Round Table Pizza, but these workers there should be more professional. Please be honest and call it what it is.... read more

So I normally don't leave reviews but after having Sydney wait on me today I just kinda had to. She was so kind and hospitable which is something that you don't see anymore. Her energy and attitude to work hard and make the customers happy was above and beyond what I would imagine for a pizza parlor! Highly impressed by this employee and I hope to god you give this girl a raise or management position because with an attitude like hers you will make a lot of people happy. No I have never met this person before I'm just happy there's still good people out there and sometimes it's nice to be acknowledged for it! read more

If you want delivery, use a service...they're a little bit on the pricey side but their pizza is consistently excellent!

We usually enjoy round table pizza. Customer service at this store is very lacking. Went in for lunch today, ordered the large double play pepperoni that according to the app, the sign in the store AND the stack of fliers sitting right next to the register on the counter was on special for $19.99. Ordered the pizza and 1 drink and was told the total was over $30!!! I asked if that was with the special and was told that we had to have a coupon for that special!?!!!!! We showed the cashier the flier on the counter, the handwritten sign and told her it was on the app as well!! Still told us we had to have a coupon. Cancelled our order and walked out and spent our money on a local pizza place. Very disappointed in our experience today. Don't know that we will be coming back to this location. read more

After our experience on Saturday I really wish there was a way to rate someone zero stars. We attended a birthday party for my nephew which started at 11. Three preordered pizzas were to be ready for the children, and adults were to order themselves. My order was placed at 11:23, the first of the preordered pizzas did not come out until after 12 pm, at 12:30 when I still didn't have my order (a four slice personal pizza) I went and demanded a refund. At this point I was ready to leave and couldn't wait any longer in a hot room without AC running. When I walked up to the cashier there were at least ten other people doing the same, demanding refunds. There was a nice woman with short blonde hair who took over and did her best to accommodate everyone, and quite frankly made everything better... until the owner decided to come in. He had the audacity to tell my sister that she should have paid him more money if she wanted the AC lowered. When asked for a refund for the entire party he told my brother in law to get the fuck out of his store.. in front of children, nonetheless. It saddens me because the big issue here, them being understaffed and not being able to handle the demands of the party, was addressed and we were all understanding. It cost nothing for a person to be kind, and the stubborn owner couldn't take responsibility for his shortcomings in how he runs his business. read more

If I could give zero stars I would we showed up they had just opened the cashier came out ahe looked as excited as a box of wet noodles we asked about specials she then hands us a menu we asked for mozzarella sticks they were out she was rude never smiled did not offer any help safe to say we won't be going back!!!! read more

The place is clean and family friendly. They have great wings and pizza.. The manager Mike along with the staff was nice and helpful.

I want to say ahead I do really enjoy their pizza. This is based on service and their app menu to store menu to prices at this store. Made an online order through the Slice app. It said it would be ready at 6:06pm. I get there and get a notification through the app that my order has been cancelled. I asked why it was cancelled and they could not answer the question. So I reordered my order and then they tried to charge me more for the same thing but because certain items were not on their menu anymore. Sounds like a bait and switch. Order the cheaper version online then get your order cancelled then go in to get charged more because it's not on their menu anymore. I ordered wedges and they charged me for boneless wings which were a $1 more than the wedges but then not tell me about it till I see it on my receipt and then asks me if I would like a refund or not. Damn right I want a refund for something I didn't pay for!!! Now I'm waiting twice as long for my order. Sounds like the owners aren't updating their website to reflect correct items or prices which is causing people to be over charged and not being told about it, unless they notice it. It is now 6:40pm and I'm still waiting for my medium pizza and two orders of wedges. 6:42pm asked about my order and they are "checking on it" 6:43pm they said 4-5 mins tops till it's ready, which it should've been ready around 6:06 pm based off of my first order I made. 6:53pm received my order they upgraded it to a large pizza and gave me extra wedges. We'll see if I come to this location again in the future. read more

The pizza might look good but the toppings got dried out after sitting under a heat lamp or a warming box for over a hour because they forgot where it was they gave me a table number instead calling my name for taking out and then they said it was my fault for not getting it when they called my name which they didn't we even showed the manager the table number 5 she said she called my name well if they call someone name they need a better system like a p a system read more

Can't beat the original crust pizza. Friendly staff, clean dining area, large party room. Never been disappointed here.

Round Table Pizza is a completely acceptable place to eat pizza if you don't want to go out of your way. They offer a pizza buffet with a disappointingly limited selection. When I visited they had the following options for pizza: cheese, pepperoni, ham and pineapple, supreme, and sausage and olive. I was personally limited because the only topping in the world that I really can't abide is black olives, and it was on two of the five selections. I would have preferred to see at least one pizza showing some creativity, with a pesto sauce or white sauce perhaps. But, Round Table Pizza feels like it's really aiming for the lowest common denominator. There's nothing unique about it, nothing that's trying to separate it from the crowd, which would be fine if the prices were a little lower, but for what they're charging I would expect more variety or a higher quality product. They also offer a salad bar, large fried potatoes, and some dessert sticks. So I can imagine it will hit all the important carb buttons for a lot of us. They also offer a soda machine featuring Pepsi products. Finally, they have a video game machine in the main dining area that blares out a short, loud siren noise once every few minutes. It's obnoxious and I can't believe it hasn't been disabled. If you want a quick place to get your cheap pizza fix, then by all means, enjoy. I think I'll stick to some of the create-your-own pizza restaurants in Bakerfield. read more

I've gone to round table since I was a kid. Was supper happy when Bakersfield finally got them. Tonight was my last time going. First I got hung up on after waiting to order. Then I placed my order online. Garlic supreme, red sauce instead of white. I arrive to pick up and am told they only have 3 people working and they are super busy. It's about 7:20 pm. I wait. I get my pizza, check it. No garlic at all. On the garlic supreme! I ask the lady. She says no. They don't put garlic on it. I could stay and argue. Or go home and feed my kids. I go home. I double check. Yes there should be garlic. I can understand being busy. Understand making a mistake. But lying about it. Nope. No more. You lost my business. read more

Ordered online with a pick up time of 7:18pm. Arrived and they hadn't even made our pizza and order was not completed for another 45 minutes! Roundtable Pizza is awesome!!! Usually get the Maui Zuai...which is one of the specialty pizzas. It is soooo good!! The fried chicken is fresh fried to order but is well worth the wait!! The service here is okay, but they are definitely slow. I went here on a Sunday night around 7 pm to attend my friend's 1st birthday party for his son. The place was pretty much empty aside from the private room filled with friends and family, so I was very confused when it took about 30 minutes to receive my order of wedges. When my husband and I arrived at the party, there were already plenty of pizzas served. However, we got there a little late, so some of the pizzas were cold. I decided to go ahead and order a large basket of wedges to share with my husband, and it took 30 minutes to get them. I think the workers actually forgot about my order until I asked them about it 20 minutes after I ordered. So, from there it took them 10 minutes to actually make my wedges. This place was empty aside from the party, and to my knowledge, the hosts weren't ordering any more food. So, I don't think the kitchen was busy. By the time I got my wedges, I wasn't really as hungry because I ate a few slices of pizza. Also, they weren't very appetizing because they were just full of grease. The employees were friendly, but I don't think their friendliness makes up for their forgetfulness. read more

If you ever gone to round table you know the pizza isn't cheap therefore you deserve your money's worth . At this point I should've got a frozen pizza for half the pizza . I felt like the box was empty because it had no weight . read more

Came back to this place because my son had a football meeting here. my first complaint would be that they gave us the small party room and more than half the parents had to sit outside of the room. We asked if we could have a larger party room which was not being used and the person in charge said no we couldn't, which is sad because we brought a lot of business to this place yesterday. My next complaint would be that we ordered two pizzas, we ate one of them there and the other one we brought home. The one we ate there had a hair in it and we had to return it so they made us another one. The one we brought home and we're eating it today for lunch also had a hair in it which is just disgusting and ridiculous. Two pizzas and both with hair!!! read more

Worst experience ever. We waited close to 1 and a 1/2 hours before the gal by the name torri came out to check on our table. If it wasnt for her we probably would have waited longer since we were at the table having a good conversation with the family. We ordered a 24 piece of wings and only got 1/2. Pizza slices looked as if my 5 year old had cut them. Mike the manager didnt even want to step out and talk to us about the issue. Hope the owners can hire people like torrie to work there since she was the one to assist in this situation read more

Just tried Round table pizza for the first time!!!! Wow what a treat that was. We had this Polynesian style pizza, that was by far the best pizza I have had in years. Probably not the best night to drop in for a quick bite. Waited in a line across the entry way just to place an order. All the tables were occupied or dirty, so we cleaned our own spot to sit and wait(45 minute waiting, glad we had our cups!). When our wedges arrived they were cold, and they brought us ranch, I requested ketchup. The server said she would return with ketchup as well as be right back with the pizza. So we started to eat what was at the table, took another 15 minutes to get the pizza. The chicken was good, tad greasy but it was hot. Pizza was good. Watched a lady clean 3 tables just to have a spot for her family to sit, pretty sure they arrived after us but totally finished eating before we got served. I dunno...im not ready to say I won't go back, but I'm certain I won't return on buffet night... read more

I will never step foot into this place again! I had my child's party here with about 50 guests in a party room. I got there 30 minutes before the party started and asked for the AC to be turned on and was told "okay" 30 minutes later I asked again because I'm sweating so bad at this point and my guests are fanning themselves with paper plates also asking for the air to be turned on. My three pizzas that I preordered the night before for the kids did not come out until an hour later and they brought them out 30 minutes apart from each other. My guest were getting texts saying that their orders had been canceled! They also unplugged their phones and told EVERYONE in the restaurant it would be a 2 hour wait for food. Half of the pizzas that came out were not what people ordered and they didn't cut half the pizzas. 40 out of 50 of my guests did not get to eat and waited for refunds. The whole entire party I was holding tears back because of how embarrassed I was that everyone was starving, sweating, and complaining. My sons first birthday was completely ruined because of these extremely rude people. When the owner came into the party room and asked what the problem was I told him "everything....." Everyone was starving, and hot and nothing was getting done because they were understaff, and we needed refunds He responded with "I see food on your table, you don't look hungry, why are you complaining?!?? You should pay me more for asking for the air to be turned on so many times!!!" As he saying all of this I start crying because I'm so angry at this point and he tells me "I'm not fucking doing this!" And walked away When my husband told him we needed refunds and to give us our money back he told him "you all need to get the fuck out of my store" in-front of children, babies, and customers I spent so much money, put so much time and effort into this party for it to be completely ruined. They also had another party going on at the same time as my party and it was also a Saturday. I don't know why they wouldn't have more people working knowing they had parties to be taken care of. And also all of their employees seemed completely stoned and out of it, and were not helpful and couldn't communicate or answer any questions we had. I didn't get to take any of my decorations home. read more
