Have been coming here for quite some time. Staff is always friendly. The place is clean. Ambience is average on how loud it can get. It doesn't take too long for the food to come out. There is usually a salad bar option. Pizza is fresh, full of flavor, crust cooked just right, and not greasy. It is our go to pizza place. We love the chicken pizza. read more

I grew up in California, and while Shakey's Pizza Parlor was probably the first my family frequented, Round Table later became our favorite. Now that I no longer live in California, one of my first meals when I return to California is always Round Table. This time we met my brother and niece for pizza at the location in Atascadero. It was a Friday night, so the place was pretty packed. There was a long line to place our order, but we didn't have to wait too long to get our pizzas. However, they never served our salads until we asked about them after the pizzas had already been delivered. One thing that stands out is how expensive Round Table pizza has become over the years. If you don't have an online coupon, you could easily pay $50 for an extra large pizza and some drinks. My other complaint is that they now serve Pepsi Cola instead of Coke. I spent most of my life eating pizza at Round Table, and I always enjoyed drinking a Coke with my pizza. As a result, Pepsi simply doesn't taste like it goes with pizza. So, I ended up not ordering a soft drink, because I have never liked the taste of Pepsi. read more

I'm only giving this place a one star because I have to to leave a review. I'm absolutely appalled that the service that I got at this establishment. Myself and my friend took our kids hiking and we wanted to stop for dinner afterwards. Candy the lady at the register and let us know that there were no drinks, including water. We ordered an almost $100 of food which included 2 salad bars. The salad bar was dangerously low and what was in there was definitely from days prior, messy, and old veggies. That's not even the worst part. I ordered a drink that was in a can, (that's all they had was beer.) and the woman at the register "Candi" handed me a can with a dirty top that was not able to be drinking out of and when I asked her if it was OK to give customers drinks like that, she completely ignored me.. and gave me a dirty look. She did not even offer me a cup to put my disgusting drink in or to wash it off. About 15 minutes of waiting for food candy goes over and get a fountain soda. My husband got up and asked if the drink was now working and she said yes. Instead of offering the customers who got no drinks a drink order she served herself a big old soda and walked right past us. The can that candy gave me was so dirty. I couldn't even get the remnants off in the bathroom. That was also disgusting might I add! Avoid at all costs! Do not take your family here! read more

This used to be our favorite pizza place. We would drive all the way from Paso (where there's already a good selection) for our pizza. Today we decided to take the drive again & go for lunch. We got a medium pizza, with 3 toppings, 2 salads & 2 beverages for $56.00 before tip. The service was friendly enough. The salad bar was meh & the pizza was good but really wasn't worth the drive. We were the first customers so you'd expect the bathrooms to be newly serviced. But the floors were filthy and the bathroom didn't feel clean. It was dead at noon on a Saturday. And I see why. My son and I love Round Table. We tried this location and encountered an argumenti e manager and dismissive service. We ásked for the double play pepperoni special which has been 19.99 for months. We added three churros. This should have been $30 with tax. She wanted to charge us $42 and insisted the special was over and there were no discounts available. We finally settled on a large pepperoni which totaled out to $30. This really seemed wrong. Also, the pizza was dropped off at our table with a "need anything else, bye" sort of manner. I placed my order then had to call back because I decided to put it on my card. The man I spoke to was very rude about it and clearly pissed off and acted like I inconvenienced him. We had a small celebration in the Sports Room of Roundtable last weekend. Thank God we can dine-in and kids can still play arcade games while having pizza. Yes, we miss the Skee Ball and they could use a new game or 2, but kids so happy! (They should def restock their prizes.) Destiny was very helpful with tokens(the machine malfunctioned), and the pizza was tasty! Not to mention THEY MAKE THE BEST IN-HOUSE RANCH dressing ever!!! At least the pizza is good. My friend's daughter wanted to come here for her birthday, mainly for the arcade. We placed our order at 12:36 and it took about 45 minutes for the first pizza and an hour for the second. A big party had just cleared out, so it wasn't that busy. We're staying nearby for the weekend and went to dinner here tonight. The personal pizza seems much bigger then the example because we got one for each of our kids and it was too much food. We wish we would have known. Our bill was over $65 which seems high for all that we got. I noticed immediately that their was a 10% off for checking in and went back after we had just paid and they said it was too late. Also when they brought the food we asked for some ranch and they "educated" us that in the future we need to ask when we order so we can pay. It would have been better if they just told us to go up and pay for it instead of making us feel guilty for asking. A couple people in our group said they thought the red sauce was too spicy. The pizza was dry...should have ordered extra sauce...obviously my fault. The pizza was not yummy like I expect from Round Table. Pretty bla'se. 22 bucks for a large KAS... The beer was FLAT...it WAS a little cold, but not REALLY cold. This buffet is so good, it is out of control. I don't understand the negative reviews. Now, if we were reviewing their "arcade" section, it would get a one star at best, because half of the machines are always out of order. However, I'm here to write about the pizza, salad bar, and those delightful cheesy garlic breadsticks. The quality is always spot on, which is impressive considering I'm primarily eating just the buffet. The salad bar items are fresh, well stocked and tasty. This place actually has some decent pizza and bread sticks.... But it'd be a lot better if it wasn't like consistently bad service with pizzas that are frequently messed up or forgotten about all together. I'm not exaggerating when I say maybe 1 of 20-30 times I've gone there... The pizzas were actually ready for pickup when they said they would be. Shoot not even within 10-15 minutes of when they said they would be. They have messed up the order at least 10 of those times where we'd be missing a pizza... Or order was just never made... Or made with the wrong sauce. I feel like this place is one of the better pizza places in town (for cheap-ish) pizzas... But you guys just need to get your stuff together.... I'm sorry but a fair amount of your dining experience is the atmosphere. No matter how good the food is, there is no quality experience here. There are middle school kids basically in control of this place in the afternoon. They are so loud and ridiculous. They don't appear to be eating or buying anything. Nobody tells them to quiet down. Everyone deserves a second chance but when they mess up chance #2, it just shows how much they care about customers. Their customer service is as good as a flat tire. I called in for a pick up order. Seemed easy: large, sausage, onion, and extra cheese. The worker repeated my order back correctly but when I picked it up, I was presented a large pepperoni and onion. My wife hates pepperoni but we were very hungry so I told the manager of their errors and left with the pizza. This is Valentine's Day and I received a pizza that I have to fix for my wife but no extra cheese. This was the second time Round Table obliterated my order and charged me for toppings not received. There will be no third chance. NEVER AGAIN!!! I will not go to Round Table ever again. read more
