Very disappointing experience at this pizza place. I was clearly told when placing my order that an extra-large pizza would come with a free cheese pizza. The first employee who helped me confirmed this, so I placed my order based on that information. I stayed and waited, but then a different employee suddenly told me there was no free pizza included. There was no proper explanation, no apology, and no effort to honor what I was originally told. The staff gave conflicting information, which caused confusion and frustration. For such an expensive place, the customer service was very poor. Communication between employees is inconsistent, and customers end up paying the price for that confusion. I felt misled and not treated fairly. I would not recommend this place based on this experience. read more

Ordered three pizzas which cost 135.00. We received a pizza that had the incorrect crust. When we ordered, we requested THICK CRUST, no sesame seeds. It was a younger man who took my order. Called back after we received the pizza to let them know we got the wrong crust. Kid who took my order got the manager who said HE took my order, he absolutely did not. I can tell the difference when someone I speak to has a thick accent and one who does not. When I told him about the pizza he said I never ordered it that way, he took my order, and basically in not so many words, it's my fault. So I told him I would be taking my business elsewhere. Here's the thing. I didn't ask for a refund or anything. It was a call to inform we had a person who has a sesame allergy, which is why we ordered WITHOUT sesame seeds and he could care less. We ordered for delivery online and they arrived in a timely manner. We got the Gyro Pizza (as suggested by everyone) and the Garden Sausage Pizza. Let me tell you, this Gyro Pizza was amazing! The halal beef was delicious, especially paired with fresh tomatoes and cilantro! The Garden Sausage Pizza was a bit more disappointing. I love this pizza so much that I planned to spend the night nearby on our California road trip just so I could get it for dinner. I then made a special trip to pick up ziploc bags at the store so I could put the leftover pizza in our small ice chest and bring it home to San Diego. This pizza is seriously so good! I ordered the same pizza as I did last fall when I first discovered this spot. The chicken and tomato on the garlic sauce and thick crust is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It's hard enough to find a pizza spot that offers either garlic sauce or thick crust and to find one that does both is practically impossible. I really wish there was a place like this to get pizza close to home because this is a five hour drive through LA for me. My partner and I just moved up to Atascadero for about a month now and were eager to find our new pizza spot in our new town. We ordered for pickup earlier this week, a large pizza with Alfredo sauce. Upon arrival for pick up, we confirmed with the cashier that it was white sauce as we didn't here it specified when he repeated the order for us to pay. He stated that regular pizza sauce was ordered and the pizza was already in the oven. My partner and I just accepted it as is, hungry and eager to get our food. The gentleman comes back a few minutes later stating he had them re-do our pizza to match what we ordered and it would be the same amount of wait time. We were ecstatic at the fantastic customer service without us even having to ask! Thank you to that awesome cashier working on Monday night!! You really made our day! The pizza was awesome too. Really nice to have a pizza place with options for people with different diets. I had the gluten free veggie delight with vegan cheese. The flavors were O.K. The red sauce was sweet and the vegan cheese did the job, but the gluten free crust was too hard and crunchy. I noticed the menu said they are known for their signature sesame twist crust, so I'd be willing to come back and give it another try with that instead. You could create a custom, more flavorful pie with their "build your own" option but at $2+ a topping it adds up quick. Pretty basic pizza spot with an artisanal price tag. The sesame twisted crust is too messy and doesn't add enough wow to justify the extra work. My personal go to if you really want to know why I love this place so much is a Luau BBQ add cilantro and tomato. It's SO good, you'll kick yourself for not coming here and trying this sooner.
