Delightful, charming, and clean place. The owner, who made the pizza, was friendly, helpful, and very kind. There were a number of 'lunchtime' patrons coming and going as I was waiting for my order. All of them seemed to be 'regulars' that the owner called by name and knew what they were going to order. I spoke with three of the patrons. They were seated eating their 'usual' lunch. They had been coming to the Pizza Express for a while. And sometimes visit the other Paso Robles location on Creston Road with their families for dinner. One even went as far as to say he preferred the Creston location because the pizza ovens were different and seemed to bake a little different. Regardless he is a fan of the new location as well. I ordered the Antonia's pizza. It was SUPERB! As a matter of fact, it is the best pizza I have had in a very long time. The crust was not prefab. It was soft and crunchy at the same time. Held the ingredients well without getting a soggy bottom. The quality of the ingredients was good. Mostly this pizza reminded me of the kind of pizza one used to get at pizza parlors that did fresh, hand-tossed, dough. Even though I had to transport my pizza home it was still warm and very tasty. Usually when I get a to-go pizza, in town, it is cold and the crust is hard by the time I get home. I will give this place another try to see if there is any change in quality or service at a later date. For now, Pizza Express will be my to-go-to pizza parlor. read more

Total for those is $42.98 before tax . when delivered (San Miguel) Our total was $52 (I think , my brother paid) . we were confused but since we were really hungry , we paid and the delivery guy left . Terrible customer service. My husband called and ordered for pick up. He said that we wanted 4 larges pizzas. He even had to say the order a couple of times so I remember him specifically saying 4 larges. When he got home from picking up the pizza we noticed that they were mediums. We called them to try and work out a reasonable deal. At first they were fine with it, then they called us back and were not fine with it. We received a flyer stating that they deliver in San Miguel. I called and asked if they would deliver to our address and they said that they do so I ordered my pizzas and they said that the expected wait time would be 50 minutes. It has been 2 hours and we have yet to receive our pizzas I called them when it was about 1 hour to ask if they needed help with directions and they said that the person was about 15 minutes away. Best pizza ever!!!!!! The food is quick and of quality! I love the staff!!!! It's a quaint location on Creston, and family run! It's a wonderful atmosphere for families!
