Been going to Fattes in Grover Beach for 30 years. Thought I'd try Atascadero's Fattes again it's been a few years.... The pizza needed sauce, I could barely detect any anywhere on it. Curiously I could taste hot pepper on every slice I had. The bake could have gone a few minutes more ( the center had that raw look). We ordered 2 large Sticky Fingers and a medium Antipasto salad. The salad was very good. I suggest tossing it before serving to a group so everyone can get all the veggies/meats in it. Our order was for pick up and ready in 20 minutes. If the pizza had sauce this place would be a solid 4. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the cashier was friendly. read more

Fattes pizza in Atascadero is the BEST! I called in a large order of pizzas and salads today. I spoke with Boli who was an excellent person to speak with! He was knowledgeable and friendly! The customer service was impeccable! We have always had good pizzas and salads. Thank you Boli, for going over and above with your customer service. It is greatly appreciated! More businesses should hire people like you! read more

Their pizza is always amazing. Customer service is great. They have never made a mistake on my order. Salads are good and the wings are great read more

We order delivery for our pizza orders. Great service and good pizza. Favorite place in town.

Honestly, I was surprised to see the 3.8. I stumbled on this place after visiting the haunt next door. I was pleasantly surprised to experience good pizza. I got the mini with cheese and jalapeños. I'm from SF and have access to all sorts of good food and this place passed my taste bud test. It was fresh, simple, and pizza done right. Nothing overwhelming or underwhelming, it was just right to satisfy the craving. I should say I normally do not eat pizza bc I'm not a fan usually and this was good pizza. The price was also just right. Also, the people who work here are kind and attentive. read more

Ordered from here on New Year's Eve for delivery and while the ordering process was easy the getting my order part was far more of a hassle. had to call an hour after ordering to make sure it was still being made and then when it came time to delivery i had to go pick it up from the store due to the delivery person not showing up at my business. Once we got the food it was dried out. read more

Great food as always, but the new front end girl they hired will talk your ear off and is super loud and annoying, especially when your done with a long day and all you want to do is go in and get out so maybe I'll get delivery next time. read more

We were craving pizza on the way to Santa Barbara from The Bay so we stopped by Fatte's. We didn't bother paying attention to the reviews, we just wanted to try their pizza. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. The crust was stiff and the sauce lacked flavor. We ordered a medium pizza with all meat, As advertised, buy any pizza and you get another for free. The 2nd pizza we ordered was the Hawaiian. read more

Came in the day after Christmas looking for a good meal and this hit the spot. The two for one deal makes the price worth it. We ordered cheese, pepperoni, and garlic chicken. The cheese was sauce-heavy, which I personally love. The pepperoni was perfect. My only suggestion for the garlic chicken is to add more white sauce to it. Highly recommend! read more

Great food and tit seems expensive till you see that its buy one get one! I love the 1 toping deal so its not to bad and the food is so so good. read more

Just went in a few days ago. ordered 4 pizzas( 2for 1) what a great experience customer service was awesome. Explain the menu to me came back to pick up the pizzas. I was a few minutes early. I had to wait till the designated time to pick them up, which was great because I walked out with hot pizzas. read more

Pizza was great and totally covered with the toppings. Fast and friendly service for pickup. Just remember you're buying 2 pizzas...BOGO.

Great food but questionable crew you have back there, last weekend I took my kid in with me to get 2 pizzas which was a mistake, one of your guys was shouting about how he wanted to "be touched sexually" I won't go into further detail about it but that alone is pretty unprofessional, especially since it looks like half your staff is under age, tall lanky Mexican guy back there needs some serious talking to about that. Will be getting my pizzas delivered from now on... read more

Fattes pizza - Ni words needed. Go here if you love mushrooms. - Pizza Near Me - Atascadero, California

Fatte's is now owned by a new person and it is way better now! The cheese is real, not the fake stuff the old owner used. Plus, who doesn't love the buy one, get one? They offer a gluten free crust for those who need it. They always have specials, delivery time is not bad at all and the usual dude who delivers to us is always cool and usually cracks me up with our quick conversation as my two dogs try to lick his face as he's handing out the pizza. Bonus, just pay by credit card when you're placing your order so if this is just for the kids and you are going out, the kids are covered! read more

Monday was Pizza night and definitely not Meatless Monday. Hawaiian with Onions and a Pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, Black Olives and Pineapple. Pretty good. For a large family this place offers the best deals. The pizzas are tasty. I recommend the 2x1 pick 5 toppings large pizzas. The place is busy; 15-20 minute wait for your pies. read more

They arbitrarily change their delivery zones. One day they will deliver to Santa margarita the next they won't. It's bullshit. when your website says you deliver, and you've done it in the past...pretty sure you just didn't feel like it so you made an excuse. Won't be spending my money here again plenty of other options. read more

I love their pizzas. And you can't beat the price for two of them. Everyone is really nice there too. I will definitely be a returning customer. read more

The service was good. The young man at the front was friendly. Our pizza was ready exactly when they said it would be. It looks like a small place but thats not bad. Their pizza is absolutely delicious. We had one sticky fingers and one Fatte's special. Fattes pizza - Outside in my car facing pizza shop - Pizza Near Me - Atascadero, California

Dishonest practice. On 10/26/2022 at 9:00 p.m. I ordered a pizza. The worker answered the phone and I stated I wanted a medium sausage pizza. He said what do you want on the other one and I said oh I said I wanted a medium sausage pizza. He said okay. I got there to pick it up and I noticed it said on the window always buy one get one free. Which in my mind kind of explained what he meant about the second pizza. I went inside and I said hey man what's with the buy one get one free? I asked this since I've never been here before. He smirked on his face like he thought it was funny and said oh I tried but I guess you only wanted one. And then laughed and said well I can make you the other one now if you want me to. My son was in the hospital and wanted a pizza and I wanted to get this to him now while it was still warm and didn't have 20 minutes to stand around waiting for him to make my next Pizza This is dishonest practice and kind of jerk behavior. It won't happen to me again though since I will never patronize this business in the future read more

We ordered Fattes tonight on Thanksgiving Eve! We knew it was going to take a little longer then normal and it did. The pizza was still hot and delicious when it was delivered. We appreciate everyone's hard work on such a busy night! read more

Super bummed birthday boy. I had the understanding that Fatty 's pizza was buy one get one free. I ordered online. One cheese and one pepperoni. Super easy right?!?! First I was charged for two pies, and only got two pies. I called in to ask what happened. Apparently it was my fault for ordering on line, and no they did not fix the problem. So I improvised @ home. Will I ever order there again? NO! read more

The pizza was great! Crust was thin and crispy and they were very generous with the toppings. We had the Sticky Fingers and a custom with double pepperoni, bacon, chicken and pineapple. The garden salad was also plentiful. There were 3 tables in the lobby so we were able to eat the pizza when it was hot out of the oven. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Sam and his team are epic! Great service and amazing pizza! Food is so so good! They are super kind hearted community centered people which is so cool to see in the service industry! read more

I come here about once a month on average and haven't had one bad experience. The workers are always super friendly and attentive. I always get the sense that they actually enjoy working there. And the pizza great! Especially for the price. Don't let their buy one get one deal fool you into thinking it's budget quality. Highly recommended. read more

Everytime you call fatties pizza you have a high school student answer that is very short with you and talks extremely fast and you can't understand them. ERIC answered my call, I called once to see how long the wait for delivery was and he let me know and let me know what times were expected to get busy. I called again to place my order and he was so nice and helped me get a better deal on the pizzas to save money and he was great!!! you never see this level of customer service anywhere these days. thank you ERIC! read more

The new Fatte's pizza is yummy. My review is not discounting how delicious the pizza is. That being said, on multiple occasions we have ordered from them and experienced long wait for food and not very good customer service. Today I called the pizzeria at 6:25pm and got a recording telling me to order on their website. I went through the website and tried to order the family deal. I went through the process and in the end after picking toppings and other selections I got an error saying that the family deal was unavailable. (No problem but take it off your website). I ended up ordering less food and spending less - which was fine. Our order consisted of two large pizzas and 1 cheese bread. The order was confirmed at 6:41 (I received an email and a text). Less that a minute after that I got another text and email saying the order was in process - which was great. At 7:45pm I hadn't received any other updates so I called the shop and spoke to a man. I told him I placed the order just over an hour prior and was checking in. He said he would check the receipts and quickly told me the pizzas were just coming out of the oven. He did not apologize for a delay nor did he provide a brief excuse - which probably would have gone a long way and I wouldn't be taking the time to write this review and give them a mediocre rating. At 7:53pm I got another text that our order was out for delivery. We live half a mile from the shop (I could have picked it up but between my raging headache, folding laundry and getting ourselves ready for another week of work and distance learning I opted for delivery). My expectation is that it should take less than ten minutes to deliver it at this point - but no. 30 minutes later (at 8:23pm) the order arrived at our house - ALMOST TWO HOURS LATER. I understand that we are in a pandemic. We have been supporting our local restaurants and have been very graciously over tipping the people who would typically be serving us. And in the world of "Karen" I did not call the shop the other times we have faced this issue. But today, before our order even arrived, I called the shop at 8:20 and spoke to the manager. Again, instead of an apology she said, "Wow. I don't know why that happened." We won't be ordering from Fattes in Atascadero anymore after this - which is their loss because we have been faithful customers before the new owners and after their reopening. However after talking to two people in the shop today, customer service and our patronage doesn't seem to matter. read more

I love Fattes. It's the best pizza place in SLO county if you're looking for a quick, easy pizza whether it's a pick up order or by delivery. Fresh ingredients every time and the quality of the pizza never lets me down. I would eat this pizza every day for every meal and i wouldn't get sick of it. This time, i got a Hawaiian pizza and then a chicken combo pizza along with cheesy bread. An employee named Randie helped us and she was the best. Super talkative and friendly to my dog who greeted her at the front door. This employee seriously needs a raise. She has a kind heart and is such a hard worker and made the whole pizza experience even better. I hope she's the one who delivers my pizza next time. read more

Probably the best pizza in town at its price point. Might other pizza's be a bit better? Sure. Are they meaningfully better? Probably not. Will they always have a 2 for 1 special? Nope. Will they deliver to my house out in the boonies? Will Fatte's? Yes. read more

Pizza was good as always but was pretty disappointed with the spicy wings. $9.99 and received 5 wings when previous order from a few weeks ago was 8 count. Called the store to inquire and employee stated that the wings now come by weight 12 oz and that our order 5 count was supposedly that even though they look the same size as the 8 count. Moreover the menu does not mention the change in how the wings are sold. read more

The gluten free pizza was AMAZING!!! I literally loved it! I ordered 4 large pizza early Sunday morning , for birthday party. They promptly made the 4 pizzas and had them done and ready in no time! I'm new to Atascadero and was recommended this place. So glad I did. Pizza was fresh and great quality. And delivery was super quick! Customer service is even better. After ordering online, I told my sister in law how cheap 2 large specialty pizzas were (coming from Bakersfield 2 large specialty pizzas would have been well over $60). My total was only $47- including tip and delivery. She told me it's always buy one get one free. I was nervous I didn't get the discount since I ordered online and didn't enter a coupon or code. So when I called the girl who answered explained my transaction to reassure I did get the discount. I wish I would've gotten her name- she was super helpful and friendly. Overall it was delicious pizza and great customer service. Definitely give them a try. read more
