Good price as well like $12.99 for buffet, I got water cup so like $15 with soda. Good value. The only thing that was kind of annoying is one of the kids games from the game room the volume is so loud even when you're sitting on the farthest end of the dining room. This is an update regarding an establishment my family used to love visiting. As I mentioned before, this was our go-to pizza spot--always clean, welcoming, and enjoyable. Unfortunately, after our last few visits, things have changed significantly. While the employees are generally friendly, customer service and management decisions have become a major disappointment. We were told that this location does not honor coupons or discounts, including promotions advertised through Mountain Mike's website and app. Employees stated that the owners operate independently and have a policy against accepting those deals. Despite the high prices, we decided to stay and order a large pizza and wings at full cost. When the pizza arrived, it was disappointing. It was dry, had very little cheese, and the toppings were sparse and unevenly distributed. It certainly wasn't the quality we've come to expect. The wings were an even bigger issue. After we had already eaten about half of our pizza, I had to ask if our wings were ready. That's when we discovered they had been forgotten entirely, despite an employee assuring us when the pizza was delivered that the wings would be out shortly, after an hour... they never came out and we cancelled the order. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the direction this location has taken. Between refusing advertised discounts, charging premium prices, serving subpar food, and lacking attention to customer service, it's hard to justify returning. Customer service is a skill that needs to be valued and taught. If discounts and specials are advertised, they should be honored. These promotions are meant to help customers, especially during times when prices continue to rise. For now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere until I start hearing more positive reviews. I've had Mountain Mike's before (at home, about 300 miles south of this location) and it was mediocre. Average at best by our house. This location though, good pizza, good salad bar, tons of space, solid arcade/games, great staff. Pizza was a little greasier than I like but it was still very good (we ate two larges with a little help from another teenage boy who snapped the pic). Pepperoni was perfectly crispy, crust was cooked well also. Little too much sauce for my liking and I ordered it with light sauce. Definitely go light if you're not a big sauce person. Salad bar had plenty of good options as well and my wife and I split a salad. Kids played a bit and we hung out and watched a couple of games on TV. They even changed the channel to another show for a customer who wanted to watch something else, pretty cool for them to do that and not interrupt what anyone else was watching. I picked out a pizza that had too many pieces in it, for just me, so he pointed out that they do have a mini, with up to three toppings, so I ordered that. I ordered 2 large pizzas to be delivered to work, about 2 hours in advance. Due to the nature of my work, it's already difficult for us to have a staff member make the commute to our entrance and we do rely on promptness of delivery. Every other pizza place in town has never been late and it's usually a seamless process to receive it. At 5:55pm, 2 staff members went to the entrance and waited half an hour with no phone call from them (as requested, since we do not have the ability to make personal calls or carry cellphones in our workplace for the most part.) Staff members made the commute back empty-handed, so I called and asked for an ETA. Was told "there's another delivery ahead of you, sorry we got behind" (or something of the like). The man I spoke to didn't have much of an excuse and told me I could reach out to a manager to "figure it out." At this point our lunch break was nearly over, and another staff member made the commute to the entrance once again. By the time we received the pizza it was almost 6:40pm. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that they may have been busy, but I called almost 2 hours in advance! The pizza here is generally very good, however our pizza was honestly awful. Almost cold, hardly any cheese on our pizza just sauce and pepperoni? And practically falling apart inside the box. Huge disappointment considered I spent over $80 on 2 pizzas. Then I was told by the same man "Actually we don't have a manager right now, it's bad.. sorry". Wtf Mountain Mikes. The food was good, don't get me wrong.. I usually enjoy myself here. Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied in the behavior and state of this location. Upon ordering and picking up my food, the staff member was non-chalant, and made me feel uncomfortable. I ordered a large pizza and the new wings with the Kogi sauce. I waited for about 30 minutes for my meal and while I was sitting, I see this! A worker sitting on his phone in clear sight of consumers. Decided to give this place another try. Came here cause we were in the pizza mood and thought it deserved another shot. You order at the counter. The kids at the counter still didn't totally know what's going on. Hence the lower stars. But having said that the place is clean. Unfortunately the atmosphere is lacking. There's no music and you barely hear the TVs. The pizza however was really good. 5 stars on the food. We got the chicken club pizza. Toppings perfectly spread around. The person on the phone was honest when she said she didn't know if the pizza would be ready on time! I'm guessing this place may get a lot of fake orders? They didn't put the pizzas into the oven until I arrived, which in turn caused me to be 20 min late arriving with dinner. So.. My son does door dash and this evening, Saturday night right around 10 pm, he went in to grab a pizza for a customer.. They don't wear name tags so I can't use his name, he was so rude, to my son, and to another person who walked in at the same time. This is not a one time thing, my son goes in there a lot.. This young man never says a word to my son. Not in greeting and never a Thank you.. We have gone there every Thursday night, for TNF, for two years.. If this is the kind of treatment we can expect, we'll be going elsewhere from now on.. The other guy who walked in asked if he could order a pizza, the guy told him "hell no". I have heard good things about this pizza place so I decided to place an order for delivery it was for just a medium pizza with a side of ranch. I asked if cash was ok and they said yes. 2 hours later no pizza and I get a call that I did not pay cash for my pizza they said. Mountain Mike's Pizza is located off the 101 freeway at the Santa Rosa exit. Besides the usual pizzeria fare, they offer a lunch special of all-you-can-eat pizza, salad & breadsticks. Today, we were welcomed as soon as we entered the restaurant, and our order was promptly taken. The restaurant has a bright, modern interior filled with several big-screens monitors to watch sporting events, etc. There is a separate party room, a small video game arcade, with indoor & covered outdoor patio dining. The salad bar has a wide variety of items where diners can assemble a salad to their own taste. It is shielded with a low plexiglass sneeze guard, however it makes reaching for back row items quite difficult even with my long arms. During the lunch buffet, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, the pizza station is continually refilled with fresh slices to choose from. The pizzas have a generous amount of toppings on them. My only gripe is the crust has a very thick & quite doughy texture. There are no choices for other types of crust(s). Overall, the pizza slices were very good, and the salad bar items were extremely fresh. Beer and wine selections are available. We very much enjoyed Mountain Mike's Pizza lunch buffet. read more

We have been here a few times for the lunch buffet. There are always good topping options m, and if you ask nicely they will make one with toppings of your choice. The staff have always been very polite and the dining area is always clean. This is a great place to come if you have hungry teenagers. read more

IMO, this is the best pizza in Atascadero right now. My litmus test for pizza is whether there is a pile of left over dried out crust pieces left on peoples plates, and with mountain mikes pizza that doesn't happen. Everything gets eaten. The crust is tender, and flavorful, and they put the toppings and sauce all the way out to the edge of the crust. This is my go-to pizza place in Atascadero. They seem to have worked out the kinks that made me feel the need to dock a star in my previous review. The pizza is consistently cooked to perfection and LOADED with toppings. I like that if I use the app to pay my loyalty rewards link up- and they add up after awhile. I still wish they had more arcade games- like perhaps consider turning the entire corner over there into a mini arcade. I guarantee it would pay off. The patio is able to be reserved for private parties at no charge which is nice if you have a large group. The salad bar is SO good. I come here often just for it. I wish they offered the all you can eat lunch buffet on the weekend (even if served at an upcharge), because I guarantee they would get more business.
