Wow. I really do not like the idea of losing this restaurant but it has become so bad. I believe it is inevitable. We have come here for lunch over the past many years and really enjoyed the salad bar and pizza. The past few years it has really gone down hill. The past several months it has become ridiculously bad. Often times no silverware/straws etc. Today the salad bar was bad-the lettuce was sitting in water. There was spilled food on the floor and no one working upfront. It appears they once again lost their alcohol license so if you wanted a beer~good luck. We need a place for our Staff Christmas dinner this past December and this eatery accommodated us with close to 50 people. They were timely with their service and the food was great and the staff was kind and served us well. It was a special time for all of us that night because honestly not to long after this event one of our elders and friend graduated into heaven. You could say that I will always have special memories for this pizza place. Why did I not give this place more than five stars. The parking can be horrendous and the service spotty depending on the staff who is present. I love the BBQ chicken pizza, and their vegetarian pizza is also great. I will say that they that their restrooms are always clean and stocked as well as the entire establishment has always been clean. Takeout order 9/13/25. I have never had a pizza like this! Thank goodness! We ordered two personal pizzas for takeout. We appreciated that they were ready on time. One, a Gourmet Veggie, was as good as expected, nice and hot - and fresh. However, the Hawaiian was, to say the least, inedible. The crust, rather than "original", was very thin. (Supposedly not available for personal size pies.) The quality spiraled downward from there. It was not only thin, but also very dry and tough. The ham was also dry and tasteless. The pineapple was fine. Just a thought here ... I wondered if they had a pizza that was not picked up, and rather than toss it they simply modified and sold it to a trusting customer. I don't know if I will ever be able to trust Round Table in Cameron Park again. This was a terrible experience and a waste of money. read more

I regularly order the lunch special to go and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and quick to help me, the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and the restaurant is clean. There have been times where a rowdy party is in attendance or the staff are a bit overwhelmed and stretched thin, but that seems to be quite common across all restaurants and fast food chains in the last couple of years. I received double olives double white onion. Salad bar was not filled completely and lettuce was brown and wilted. I got there at 11:20am, they opened at 11:00am. After being a Round Table Customer for 54 years, yesterday, I finally got a lousy pizza from them. Maybe a bad day. It sucked bad. Over-cooked, sparsely toped and generally just a lousy example of RT quality. They are expensive. Ok. Im willing to pay the insane price of 50 + bucks for RT quality. This restaurant is consistently understaffed. As a result, the dine-in customer experience suffers. If you order a beer, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes before you receive it. The wait can be attributed to foamy taps, lack of staffing, and the sheer craziness of the dinner rush. Additionally, the sauce and toppings on our last few pizza orders were extremely inconsistent, lacking ingredients, and partially undercooked at times. I'm assuming the dinner rush forces them to pull pizzas before they are finished cooking and the cooks throw them together without regard for quality. One of our pizzas had little to no sauce or toppings on 1/3 of the pizza. For the prices they charge, this is unacceptable. I've gone there with my wife and son numerous times hoping the previous experience was just an outlier or exception. Nope. You'll spend more time in a busy line waiting to complain or ask for another beer than you will with your family. Lastly, the staff can't even get the right beer tapped. Our Lagunitas Island Beats was an amber. Not an IPA. This place is a mess. read more

Round Table pizza has always been my favorite pizza but I'm not sure I will go back to the RT in Cameron Park. On Jan. 17th I went online to order a large one-top pizza for my grandkids by using 125 of my Loyalty Rewards Points to purchase it. While ordering online I kept getting a QR code that said to tell the cashier that I would like to scan my QR code when I order the pizza. I was confused because it also said the QR code would only be good for a few minutes. I called Round Table to ask how to use it and the employee told me to just bring it in when I pick up the pizza and they would credit the Reward. When I got to RT I was told that they are no longer accepting Loyalty Rewards. I asked to speak with the manager who confirmed they can't accept it. I told him that I just called 10 minutes ago and was told to bring in the QR code for a price adjustment. He said it must have been the new guy that told me that. I told him I was sorry, but that was NOT my problem! I had already paid for the pizza and could have left with it, but as a matter of principle and my feeling that it was false advertising, I told him to keep the pizza and void the transaction on my credit card. I told him they had lost a very loyal customer and that I wouldn't be going back to the Cameron Park Round Table again. She said the door dash driver just left 5 minutes ago. I said I was unaware they used door dash, and thought they had delivery drivers and I made the order through the round table website, not door dash. She said " I am not retarded I know how you placed your order" WOW!!! That is TERRIBLE customer service, and she should be taught how to treat customers with respect, and if she is unable to do so, should be fired. read more

This Round Table used to be our go to on Friday nights before our kids were grown and flown. I was craving a pizza and decided to order one of the specials~ a large Italiano with mini pepperoni & bacon for $23.99. Gotta love a good deal when you're paying for college. I stopped in to pick up my online order from the friendly bar guy. I tipped him and was on my way. I decided to peek at my pizza in the car since they don't open the box for you any longer inside the restaurant when you do take out. Anyhoo, I was shocked to see that it was basically a cheese pizza with some pepperoni dumped in the middle... yeah no. Back in to see the friendly bar guy who said it'll just be about 10 minutes and we'll have a new pizza for you. I can't say enough about the girls that were on duty last weekend. I called in for two large pizzas that I was going to pick up and bring to my mother-in-law's house... Who just lost her husband. Not only were the pizzas hot and ready as promised, they were ready at the exact time I was told. When I told them what happened to our family they were super sweet and offered condolences. I ordered a large pizza and mozzarella sticks. Order was supposed to be ready at 6:39 . I arrived to pick up order it wasn't ready the girl told me sorry it will be 15 minutes we are a little behind. Not a direct customer but I was in the Dennys this evening with a few friends that is right nearby when around 12 or so round table employees wearing their work shirts came into Dennys. Dennys was short staffed with only three staff total at the time and when they were warned that it would take maybe up to an hour to get all 12 of their meal orders out as a group because of them being so short handed. The Dennys team were very polite and honest but the round table team was vicous in return. In particular the male round table employee, with curly hair, proceeded to harass and cuss out the Denny's team loudly in the restaurant as our table looked on. He left and reentered the store to cuss out and harass the Dennys team once more! A complete vulgar worded toddler tantrum! It was really despicable the way he and the others behaved, and a complete embarrassement for them as a team. Incredibly poor representation for the company as a whole that they would act like that. You would think that a fellow server team would be more considerate and understanding to what it is like to work at a restaurant and be so understaffed when a large party comes in. But no, not a single shred of consideration, just straight up cussing. We heard the whole thing from where we were sitting and it was very upsetting to witness. The ordeal made my table feel unsafe. Especially when after the bombardment the whole group loitered just outside the restaurant, still obviously angry and agitated. If this is the kind of horrid mob that this round table hires than I want to NEVER set foot in that restaurant ever again or support it. I can't imagine how awful they are to customers if they're rampaging around threatening other local restaurant teams. 12/30/2020 @5:49pm invoice #44 I called and placed a delivery order. Gave my card number, and was told we will see you in about 45min to an hour. @7:27pm I called to see where the delivery was at. It had been about an hour and half, and the kids and us were starving. The young woman who answered the phone could not find my order in the system. She then had to get her manager. The manager comes on and states MIRACULOUSLY my order shows delivered......only nothing was delivered. He then tells me "hey bud I'll putcha in for two free pies next time. If the driver doesn't show l, maybe come down and we'll getcha a refund." I wait about an 5 more minutes, and decide to head to go get a refund. My refund was process @7:38pm To say the place has lost its luster, is an understatement. They have completely dropped a few notches. Totally not worth the premium price you have to pay to eat there. Ultimately- after I got my refund, I hit up pizza factory and picked up more pies for the same price. We were all starving at home. Maybe next time we save our money and cook for ourselves read more

This place has gone downhill over the past few years with new owners. The staff tries hard to provide quality service, but they are always understaffed. They took away wine, and the availability of the beer taps is unpredictable. We like the staff and local management and love the pizza but feel like corporate is restricting them from being successful. There are very few patrons who dine in anymore, and lines and wait times can be long. It is a shame to see one of our favorite places to meet with friends deteriorate. read more

We hosted our daughters second birthday party here and it was fantastic! The restaurant has been redone in the last few years and is beautiful. We got the party room which was spacious and very clean. The arcade has multiple fun games in it for the kids. I've been to a lot of pizza places with a claw game and a small shooter game but they had a good variety for our group. The menu is great, salad bar is clean and well kept. The bar area has great selection of draft and bottle beers. We got 8 pizzas and some party packs for the kids and it was all hot, tasty and came out perfect. My guests liked the fancy soda machine. Staff was accommodating and kind. Everyone was helpful and it went great! Thank you so much for taking on our large group and being so gracious and helpful! read more
