He also did the wrong cat eye color and had to grind it off in order to fix that. I was charged $75, $14 of which was for repairs that were not conducted. I normally pay $60 for a fill WITH design at my normal salon. I will NOT be back. I only went here today because my normal nail tech does not availability until next week and my nails were looking crazy. Also, the salon was in various states of disrepair. The furniture is cracked and looks super run down. I would not recommend coming here unless you like being overcharged.

Unprofessional Behavior Nail & Spa Expo (Valentine's Day Visit 2/12/2026)…read moreI visited Nail & Spa Expo on 2/12/2026 for a Valentine's Day service. When I arrived, the nail technician, Linda, was doing her own nails. I had builder gel on my nails longer than I should have (which I didn't realize, as I'm not the expert). I was told my nails were healthy, yet two nails broke the very next day. I posted a short review that simply said "builder gel fail." I did not mention any names or details at that time. When I later called to discuss the issue after the owner offered a refund or redo, the salon manager repeatedly said, "What do you want?" in a rude tone while on speaker. She then abruptly put Linda on the phone without telling me. Linda also repeatedly asked, "What do you want?" and told me I had called too much, which is not accurate. I calmly explained that I wanted a refund due to the poor outcome and service. Instead, I was told to pick up a gift card and "give it away." I do not want a gift card. I wanted the matter resolved professionally. This is not my first issue. On 1/18/2026, I received white polish that appeared old. I texted and called for nearly a week (1/18-1/23) trying to get it corrected. When I finally returned (Linda is off Sundays and Mondays), the manager insisted I would have to pay $30 for a polish change or accept the same old color again. That is unacceptable. Additionally: The manager's demeanor is hostile and unwelcoming. Customers are spoken about loudly within earshot. Linda's sister had started and during appointments, she caused delays, because Linda kept stopping to assist her. My mother also experienced rude treatment during her recent appointment. I was asked to remove my honest review, which I will not do. I believe in supporting businesses that show professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this establishment has repeatedly demonstrated the opposite.

*REVIEW FOR PEDICURE SEVICES ONLY*…read more Came here for a pedicure. This was a last minute effort and since we were headed to Arundel Mills, we looked up the nearest salon to get a pedicure, saw the reviews, and decided to go to Inspire Nail Bar. We arrived and were greeted by pleasant staff. There were three of us getting pedicures and informed them of that. We were directed to checkin on a kiosk and less than five minutes later, were escorted back to the pedicure area. We each had pleasant staff servicing us. We were given a menu of services. They specialize in nail, pedicure, and waxing services. We each got different pedicure services: I got the basic pedicure with regular nail polish, two got the basic pedicure with gel polish. The stations were clean and the staff very engaging. They had various snacks (chips, soda, candy) in addition to wine (red or white) provided complimentary with the service. We were all pleased with our services. The only thing I would say is that the person performing my service kept insisting that I complete the survey online with 5 stars BEFORE my service was completed. They insisted about three times and hovered to see that I would complete it before my service was completed. I told them the last time, very sternly, that I NEVER complete a review until my service is completed. As I was the only one who had to sit under the fan to dry my toenails because I got regular polish, after my nails dried, I did complete the survey. All in all, a nice place to go for a pedicure and I will be visiting again, One bit of advice, Inspire Mail Bar: Don't hound customers to complete a review (and encourage a five star one at that) before services are completed. I had to take a star off for that as it was uncomfortable for me.

I called them at 10:50 and they asked me to come at 11:15 instead which was a slight inconvenience for me as I had scheduled the appointment to coincide with me getting out of Pilates in the same shopping center. I waited in my car until 11:15 and when I went in I still had to wait another 10 minutes to be seen. They had a basket of mini candy bars and chips next to the seats where you wait. Once seated in the pedicure chair, I was offered a "complimentary" beverage (water, coffee, tea, wine or champagne) which I declined. I was also presented with a pedicure menu. They have different types of pedicures ranging from $35-$85 and gel is an additional $20. The prices may be a little higher than other salons because of all the free/complimentary items they offer. My nail tech Steven was professional and thorough but the pedicure area itself was pretty loud and not relaxing at all. They don't take tips on credit cards so be prepared to pay the tip with cash, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.

Short nail girl here!!…read more NAIL TECHNICIAN: Annabella I have been getting my nails done by Annabella for so long now and they NEVER EVER disappoint. My work requires I have short nails which was one of the biggest bummers given I've done long, design packed, nails my whole life, but, Annabella has completely changed that limiting reality for me when she showed me short nails can be just as great. The health of my natural nails goes without mention. Sometimes I can't even believe it myself. I look back and thank god that I have to transition out of long nails because they were DESTROYING the integrity of my naturals. My nail beds have grown significantly and overall, it's a lot less maintenance to have short nails. I've attached photos of some of my favorites she's done for me and now I'm itching for a new set (though I love my current). 10/10 recommend Annabella. She is so thorough, trustworthy, talented, and sanitary.

I had a really disappointing experience at this nail salon and would not recommend it…read more I got Gel-X nails done by Annabella, and almost immediately when I got home something felt wrong. My fingers were in pain, and it felt like the nails were lifting or separating. I called the next day and spoke with Samantha to explain the issue. I asked if I could come in to have two nails fixed and the set filed down because they were unusually thick (I've had Gel-X many times before and never experienced this). She told me to come in, but when I arrived, she dismissed my concerns and said it was "just the glue settling" and that nothing was wrong. Despite clearly seeing how thick the nails were, she didn't offer to fix them. By the very next day, the nails started coming off. I called again and asked for the set to be redone since the issue was clearly due to the application, but they refused. This is unacceptable, Gel-X sets typically last me at least 3-4 weeks, not just a few days. I ended up going to another salon to have them redone, and even that technician commented on how poorly the original set had been done. Overall, this salon showed no accountability and no respect for my time or money. I would not return.

He acted like he was drunk, was way too forceful with the massage during the pedicure, gave me a hard time when I wanted to be seated next to my young daughter- saying that his chair was in the row behind my daughter's nail technician's chair and that my daughter is fine. I repeated that I will sit next to my daughter and he was visibly and verbally upset. He mumbled in a different language and sneered, almost like he was trying to intimidate me. I should have refused to allow him to continue his service, but for my daughter's sake and the sake of our mother-daughter date, I remained seated next to her and he brought his tools over to do my manicure. The worst part of this entire experience was while he was doing my manicure, he starts speaking in broken English about how dangerous Baltimore is and how the gangsters in Baltimore are all Black and a Black man shot his friend in the face. He said he has to watch his back because of the "Black man in Baldmorr". He said all of this in front of my daughter, who was visibly disturbed and probably scared. Not one employee did or said anything to make him stop speaking so recklessly. And last, he kept getting his OWN fingers caught in the nail drill bit! The man was drunk, racist and rude. Horrible customer service and horrible management because they did nothing about his speech or behavior. Worst mother-daughter outing I've had and will never go back and I do not recommend. There are too many better nail salon options in BEAUTIFUL BALTIMORE!
