The store was extremely clean and it's definitely a place that I would get someone a gift that's different than anything online. You can tell that the items are newer, nothing seems to sit on the shelves so I'm happy to see family owned business flourishing! I love giving back to my community and buying local. Super friendly staff who welcomed us in, pointed out how they are set up and encouraged us to look around. New items come in regularly, I believe. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for. I also work at an antique store in Pacheco..... so I have some background knowledge here. No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.

I didn't realize that this place is huge! They have several rooms that are all organized by different themes. They have a room for dining/kitchenware, children, men's, women's, holiday items, etc. my favorite were the two Christmas rooms in the back! There was a poster that I also dearly want but I have to see if I can find space for it. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were divided by theme (I especially enjoyed the music/concerts room) and he had a great selection of vintage jerseys. He said he cleans all the clothes before putting them out so people can try them on without worries. I can't wait to come back to see what other clothes the owner finds. The store is a little hidden in the back of a little shopping area/offices off of First Street, but there are lots of helpful signs to guide you. The manager (possibly owner?) is very hands-on and her hard work is evidenced by a space that's clean, wonderfully arranged, and appealing to shop in. As I overheard conversations happening around me, I picked up on a sense of community...sure enough, I have since learned that ReVibe is connected to vibetogether.org, whose goal is "to create a positive impact in our community by bridging mental health and the arts. Our mission is to empower individuals through support, emotional well-being, self-expression, and community healing." The main shop is so organized and thoughtfully laid out that it feels like a boutique. Adult apparel is in the primary room, with smaller rooms for accessories and kid's clothes, books, and toys. For now, housewares are in a separate room to the right of the main shop, but there are plans to eventually tear down the wall separating the two spaces to make one large shop. Before I even left ReVibe, I was already thinking about doing a big purge at home so that I could bring donations in soon. I'd rather drive all the way from San Francisco to Benicia to support this shop than take my things to Goodwill or Salvation Army. ReVibe deserves all the support we can give!

The inventory can be hit and missed. I have gotten clothes, chairs, loveseats, an air fryer with a little dent on it, but at 50% off. The staff is nice and helpful.
