Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning! They seem to discount by color tags, and they actually take those items out and put them in a specific section so you're not hunting for those sales like many other thrift shops. There are three fitting rooms in the back that are covered with curtains. You can sign up for their membership with your contact to earn points on purchases and get notified for their sales, as well. Staff were also very friendly. Parking lot was decently sized, but if you come later, it may be a bit more challenging to find parking (some spots are designated for a nearby business and some are 15 minute only spots).

I was a regular customer at Pink Arrow until I purchased a pair of boots from Nicole last summer. She explicitly told me they were waterproof. I didn't wear them until March when I visited a friend in Idaho. The snow was melting while we were out, and the boots failed completely-- now the toes are permanently stained. When I emailed Nicole to share what happened, it took her a full month to reply, only to tell me that because it had been close to a year since purchase, she couldn't do anything for me. I offered to show her the boots so she could see from the pristine soles that they had only been worn that single day. As a small business owner myself, I know there were many ways she could have handled this to make it right. At the end of the day, an owner should stand behind their products and stand 100% behind their word. I will only spend my money at businesses that truly value and care about their customers.
