These men are true craftsmen! I had a pair of heavy carpenter-style work pants that needed to be taken in in the waste (a difficult fabric in a difficult area), and had a short timeline (needed them back in three days!). Being that they were work pants, I wasn't much concerned with the aesthetics of the fix. However, the job is seamless (so to speak), fits comfortably, and I feel proud to wear them now :) Not only did the quality far exceed my needs, but the pants were able to be picked up a day before I needed them by! We were in a huge rush to find the right suit since the one we ordered online got delayed. Our event was the next day and we came to Oxford Way Tailoring hoping to find a nice one for a good price. Randy, his daughter, and the tailor were exceptional. My partner is usually a size 34 in suits, but the pants were way too tight on him. We were able to switch it out for a size 36 that needed some alterations. The tailor was Vietnamese, and I was able to communicate with him through that a lot better to get details on the alterations. I came in and tried on all three pairs of pants I wanted altered and he helped me make different changes to each one and gave me honest opinions to all of my nuanced questions. Hemmed all three to a perfect length and took the waist in on one of them to fit me perfectly. I had been putting off taking my pants to get tailored because I was worried but now I will come back in a heartbeat. Had some great conversations with Randy about business and fashion/clothing in general the time I came in and when I came to pick up my pants. This place is awesome. Randy was professional, polite, cares about his work, and I felt like I could trust him. I came in only needing to get measurements for a groomsmen suit my friend was going to purchase for me. I made it clear to him that's all I needed, as sometimes businesses dont like to just do that (I assume). It had been somewhat difficult to get the measurements, because i needed more than just the basic ones Men's warehouse would need to rent a suit. After he found that out, I think he was little less sure about if he was going to do it, haha, but he still did and I really appreciated it. He had to pull out a diagram on what measurements to take because I guess it had been awhile since he had to do a full custom suit. I was so appreciative of his time and service that I gladly left a tip to compensate him for effort, even though he didn't charge me anything for the measurements. This is the type of business that should exist in my opinion. One that provides quality service, and seeks to help the customer with their needs in a professional and competent manner. Brought in a men's button up dress shirt that was horizontally ripped near the buttons (a sizable rip.) It was December 30th, and I told Randy I was trying to wear the shirt for my New Years Eve celebration. Randy was a miracle worker. He had the shirt ready within the day and it looked brand new!
