The inside was your expected brunch place in Denver expect it was packed with all the awards they won for their food and it's no wonder why. I was on my way to Boulder and found this place on the route and glad I popped in because it was spectacular! So many in-home made items on the menu that when the server was going over them I quickly figured out I couldn't try them all as nearly everything was! Only thing we forgot to ask was what coffee they served because we loved it!

This was recommended to me by my friend/coworker for brunch!…read more I got the Izzy's Kickin' Chicken & Waffles and I loved that I opted for the "Johnny Waffle" which is basically cornbread waffle. They ask if you prefer it to be Belgian or Johnny. I didn't really try the EB pork gravy that came with it because I'm not big on gravy for my chicken. But all in all, the meal was delicious. My friend got the breakfast tacos but didn't love it as much.. she said she wished she stuck with her initial hunch of getting the BLT. I tried her breakfast tacos but I think I was already full with the dish I ordered so I can't say I savored the tacos. Service was superb though! I forgot her name but she was really friendly and kept checking if the meal was to our liking. The vibe inside is what you would expect for brunch spots.. loud, busy. The line outside was insane though. I'm glad I made a reservation online! And they're pretty on point. I made a reservation for 2 at 11:15 and by 11:20 (we just parked), when I walked by the hostess to check in, she was already on the phone calling me if I'm still gonna make my reservation. So I'm relieved I got there and wasn't insanely late or she would have given our table away!

And, my, oh my, as soon as we parked, we saw the line. Thank goodness, these folks were on their game and despite a decently long line to be seated, they were able to get us in pretty quickly and continued to do so with others, throughout our entire visit. This is teamwork at its best - front and back of the house killing it. We ordered brunch cocktails (bloody mary and mimosa), shared one of their seasonal specials (churro french toast) and had entrees (chilaquiles and crispy rellenos & eggs). Yes, before you think it, yes, we ordered way too much food but took some home with us. Service was really great - fast and cooked to order. Our server checked on us often but not so much that we felt rushed (despite seeing all the folks waiting to be seated, lol). It was a great meal that we'd drive back for. Brunch House has a great vibe - a bit of an upscale diner feel with really elevated food. We will def return in the fall and maybe sit outside. Do yourself a favor, add them to your short list.

The space is small but only because the food is so good, I can see why they had a busy house. The food is authentic and made with real ingredients. They also serve alcohol beverages. Unfortunately they ran out of tofu so I ordered regular tofu (not the same), but I thought the BYO breakfast sandwich was decent. I also ordered a hot latte which came out cold. I can count on one hand the amount of times I sent something back at a restaurant - I sent it back. It came out as cool as the other side of the pillow. The 90s hip hop that was playing really got me energized in the morning but overall the place was very low energy. Only two tables occupied.

Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars.
