The service team is friendly and quick to take your order and get your choices in the oven. Very clean and ample seating. I came here after the gym in Wallington, my home gym in Fort Lee is temporarily closed... did a quick search for pizza and noticed Rose's was close by, had good reviews and the pics looked pretty good. Got just a plain slice ($3.04 tax inc). The slice was alright, very cheesy. Maybe my expectations were high because of the reviews on Yelp and Google. Stopped in for a slice. Price said $2.85. I had $3 in my hand. When I went to pay it's comes to $4.04 So I had to start digging in my pocket. Now this is when most places would be like don't worry about it. They didn't say that. I handed her the extra dollar and she gave me a hand full of change to pay for the 4 cents. Now not only do I have a pocket full of change she doesn't know how to count and shorted me 10 cents. Just not good business in my mind. Pricing a single slice that I'm sure is ordered often, at a price point that breaks another dollar every time. The slice was also small with not much flavor. Wont be back. So decided to get lunch from this pizzeria. The order was called in. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and went to the counter. I ordered the pizza with extra cheese and one with meatball. It was ready and I paid. When I dug in I really enjoyed the extra cheese slice. The meatballs slice was ok. I debated about doing this post, but I the purpose of Yelp is to review your experience. If you like this place and you're a regular, support the business. I went here for the first time yesterday and honestly, I didn't like the food. I had the meatball parm sandwich, the meatballs had absolutely no taste. I thought it was me, so I had my wife take a bite, and she said it was very bland, with no taste. The owners have been doing pizza for decades and they themselves are origionally from Italy. Myself and my family have been going there for decades. The slices are good cooked well, dough not floppy when taken out of oven. The best is the Sicilian thick slices. Great taste cooked well. Sandwiches and dinners are good as well. Eat in or take out. My family's go to place. Love the cold subs from here. Very tasty, fresh and filling. I always get the ham, cheese and salami sub. It's my favorite! The pizzas are also really great. Mushroom is the one I usually select. In my opinion, the pizzas are a bit messy. The toppings always find a way to fall off the slice, but I look past that because it's so full of flavor.. I don't mind picking up the pieces from my plate with a fork. Staff is super sweet and always kind! They feel like family which makes this place so welcoming and warm. This place hits. I only get the sandwiches but the pizza is good too. The staff is always having fun working and make you feel at home no matter how busy. My goto is the #8 w/everything and mayo lightly toasted. I order it wrapped. Something special happens when it sits in the paper. They have mastered the balance of meat and vegetables with seasoning. Let the sandwich marinate atleast 15 mins before eating is my advice. read more

Terrible service. I was handed a veggie pizza that looked like a salad. Smothered with raw cut onions, you couldn't even see the pizza. I asked for them to switch it out, the guy w the glasses tried to argue with me. Poor customer service. I'll be honest I will never buy pizza from here again. The pizza sauce was watery and cheese fell off the slice just as the other slice I had with toppings. Plus it had no quality taste. As a former pizzeria owner and foodie,I don't recommend as a place to get good pizza. read more

Talk about a classic. The #1 here is exactly that. I prefer the #8 though, which is the same thing but has more meat. For those who don't know, the #1 is the amazing legendary sandwich the fantastic owners of this place make. The pizza is also pretty good, one of the only places I order plain slices from. The other dishes like the ziti are good too, but I stick to the legendary sandwiches. Fun fact, Kim Kardashian ate here once. read more

Order from this pizzeria atleast once a week via UberEats and each time the pizza is consistently tasty, the crust is always perfectly crisp yet chewy and the sauce mixed with the thin layers of pizza is to die for. Seriously have never had a bad slice of pizza from this place whether it's a square Sicilian slice or a regular pie. Large cheese pie ranges from around $14 and a slice is around $2.75 -- all very reasonably priced and packaged well for to go. read more

This is one of my many favorite pizza place. These guys been here forever and I've know them ever since I was in grade school. Still the same owners and their pizza is delicious, the lasagna is great and their Italian subs are so mouthwatering. We usually get them for Super Bowl parties or birthday parties. Great hidden gem! Was leaving the DMV in wallington and stopped here for a bite to eat. Roast beef sandwich was phenomenal. They make the sandwiches right behind the counter. I told the gentleman to make it how he would eat it and let me tell you...he did not disappoint. They had a couple pies displayed for slices. Pizza looked really good too! This place has great service and great tasting food. The Sicilian pie is one of my favorites from here even though it might not be for everyone. It's a thick crust pizza that's square. Sounds difficult to swallow but once you taste it you'll understand. The other option is a sandwich and they are all really tasty. Try the number 7 with everything if you're feeling adventurous. Mayo, peppers, and vinegar are just some of fillings inside but as a whole it's heaven in a roll. Definite at recommend this place as I've been going here since I was 5! read more

That was just the beginning of the warmth that this establishment exuded, they were super nice and friendly. They asked my name, but I forgot to ask theirs. As I waited for my food, she began bringing me samples of the sides and desserts. She had me sample the banana pudding (she asked first if I ate bananas) - this was super flavorful of banana, as another review said, not just vanilla pudding with some sliced bananas in it. Beyond that, she brought me a little piece of frosted banana bread, a dense, rich flavorful lemony cake, and a frosted pound cake. The lemony one was my favorite. Next came a bit of sweet potatoes, with huge flavor that I haven't really experienced before in a dish like this. She also let me try the mac and cheese (great spices in it!) and collard greens (tastes just how you expect!), as well as one of their "French fries" which is a round slice of potato, really good and so much more interesting than normal fries. She brought this out with her rib sauce to taste/dip, which was also good. She also had some great conversation about boxing and bringing the neighborhood together. When I got my food, it was bursting out of the takeout container and she had to use a rubber band to keep it closed. The cutlery set came with A dumdum lollipop and a piece of bubble gum as well. I ordered: 2 piece fried chicken - leg and thigh with mac and cheese and collard greens and cornbreak. They also added a few fries in, coleslaw, and hot sauce. The chicken was tasty, but the pieces were huge! The cornbread was dense and sweet, delicious. The coleslaw was super creamy. I'll be back and I'd encourage anyone nearby to check it out.
