Got my nails done with one of my girl friends here.. TERRIBLE. Ugh. I got a set of acrylic nails and they all started getting bubbles underneath and the edges started to peel off the nail.. Her nails were shellac with jewels on them and a couple of the jewels fell off the next day.. We spent a 100 dollars together.. not worth the money.. :( read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Rose's Nails. I was looking for a place to get a pedicure at a reasonable price, and I was very happy to have found this place. The chairs were the typical amazing massage chairs, and each foot bath is a different funky colour. The women were very nice and did an amazing job on our toes, my pedicure is still going strong 3 weeks later. As for the prices my toes in a solid colour were 30$ my nieces were a solid colour with an intricate design for 35$. This included the soak, massage, scrub, shaving of the soles, trimming and clean up of nails and the polish. Overall very happy and will probably make this my go to nail place. read more

I've been here a few times as it is my mom's favorite place to go for a manicure /pedicure. The staff is always friendly and patient with my ticklish feet. And I'm always satisfied with their designs. Even walking by the shop on my way to other local businesses a few of the girls will wave hello. read more

Gone twice for a regular pedicure. Staff take a lot of time and very happy with results. Usually in for 45 minutes at least.

This is the only nail place in Edmonton I. Will go to I got fake nails and they lasted so long that I even got bored of the The colour they lasted three weeks and usually fake nails break in the first week I never had to go get my feet nails repaired and it was really useful because to be honest I really don't like getting my period so I recommend this one did anybody because it was one of the best I've ever been to I will never go anywhere else read more

I went to this place after a friend recommended it and I love it! They actually do gel nails for realllyy cheap ($35 for a full set) and they do a good job!!!! I've been to several other places, where they did a bad job and it's cost me double that price! So this is now my regular nail place. For $35, you can't go wrong, atleast not at this place. I usually get pearl tip gel nails. It's like the regular french nails with the white tip, except the tip is not as white. It's more of a pearl kind of color (hence the name lol) but it's really nice because it looks more natural than white tips, and they looks like their your own nails. But they do a great job for the price! read more

I'm so appalled with the way my visit at this salon went. I went in there on a Saturday afternoon. I didn't have a appointment but I decided that I would stop in and see if they had openings, as there are minutes from my new place. I walk in and ask if they had time for a walk in and she says "yes just give minutes, go sit and wait and I'll come get you when I'm ready." So 20 minutes goes by and she comes to me with the colors to choose. I pick what I want and another 10 minutes goes by and she comes and brings me to a seat. I thought okay maybe there are just busy, and they will hopefully makeup for it by giving me a great set of nails. The prices were good(if you got what you paid for) but no. She asks me weather i wanted gel or acrylic. And I said gel. And she says okay that will be $65 .( Please keep in mind that I had a friend that went there no that long ago and paid only $50 for a set of gel with shellac.) So I thought oh great they are just going to charge me what they feel. So then another lady from the salon buts in and says "just get acrylic they are stronger anyways you dont want gel. It's cheaper too, we do that for $55) so i said whatever I will do acrylic . So she starts doing my nails and she starts rushing me to choose a color. So since its spring I wanted a light color like a light blue or purple. So I picked a light blue. Then she tells me that color won't look good on me and that I should go alot darker. I was completely shocked. I had made my decision and now she is pressuring me to change it by saying it wont look good on me. What the efff is that supposed to mean ?!??!! Anyways so I ended up just picking a light purple. She continues to do my nails and she didn't pull my cuticles back no nail prep NOTHING. When she was putting on the tips on one hand three of the nails work crooked. If I'm paying $55 for acrylic i want them to be at least straight. So when I said something about it my whole visit went down hill. She redid them then was so rude. She cut me a couple times with the file, she was squeezing my fingers so hard while working on then i had to ask her 2 times to stop. After that I felt so uncomfortable. I wanted to just walk out as is. The acrylic was uneven and on my skin. The owner who isn't ANY better came over and said she would take over since this woman was clearly rushing and making her business look bad. So I sat at a different table and she started. So when we sat down she said she would going to fix them. But no she made them worse. They were not only bubbly but she could not even do the nail polish without making it lumpy and bubbly.i I was in the nail salon for 2 and a half hours. I couldn't believe it . I said I was very unhappy and told her that I would like a discount because of how poor the service was and how horrible my nails looked. She told me 5 dollars off. That's ridiculious I said I wasted well over 2 hours in here and had been slandered and my nails look like shit And little cuts on mt finger but the electric file. she wanted me to pay $50 ?! Are you kidding me. I said no I'll give you $40 . She goes no $45 . I said no no no ill give you $30 or I'm walking out that door. Cause I will have to go get them redone anyways. So i paid the $30 and walked out. Sure enough 3 days later a nail already broke off and they look disgusting. NEVER GO HERE. There were other ladies in there that were being alot nicer and doing a great job but you should her feel like that when you paying good money to get your nails done. I give this no stars read more

I went to Rose's for a manicure with gel polish about three weeks ago. I walked in and they were able to take me fairly quickly. I asked about the specific services I wanted and they quoted me a price. I agreed. There is nothing terribly special about this place. It's just like so many others...80's style posters, loud obnoxious television, worker's talking to each other in another language, ignoring the customer except for upselling during your entire visit....etc. When I went to pay, they charged me more than I was quoted. I explained that is not what I was quoted and then the gal who quoted me said I was wrong. What was I to do? Get it in writing the next time? The polish chipped about 1 1/2 wks... I'm not too sure there will be a next time for me. I'm glad the other reviewer had a satisfactory visit, just wish I had the same.....back to my search for a regular place. read more

Nice Pedicure, Nice place to relax. But the price is a little bit higher, The reason why I gave 4 star here is because the girl who serve me didn't smile at all. I think if they can improve the customer service, that will be perfect. Still recommend for pedicure. :) read more

I always go here, they take really good care of their customers. I'm always happy with the results. The ladies here are very creative and do a great job on my nails read more

Used to be a big fan of this place, especially with the old ownership. Old owner really cared about your happiness and was very nice. While the new lady is very good at nails, you will pay more than the price they have up on the wall. Unless you speak Chinese you will not have a fair argument trying to pay the right price. Today i went in just looking to get the shellac removed, it says $5 up on the wall. The removal was alright, a little rough and still have shellac on all the edges. After, the man charged me $10, and when i questioned why, the lady tells me its because i had gotten a manicure and shellac last time and so it was a totally different removal. Im not really sure how getting a manicure 2 weeks ago effects how much my shellac removal is.. Not very happy. Don't think i will be back. read more

I really love this place. I only went there after reading the last reviews from Samantha and Rai. I've been there twice now and they take care of you. They do great pedicures with the most comfortable chairs yet with excellent customer service. I have no complaints and I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been going to Rose's nails for the past three years, about every 3 months or so...now that there has been a horrific fire, it's been difficult to get to the two subsequent locations. Many thanks to Andy's Salon for taking some of the previous staff into their building and allowing customers to return to my favourite nail personnel! Rose's staff are efficient, kind, multi-lingual and extremely talented. I have enjoyed many one-of-a-kind painted designs, gel and tip nails, seasonal glamour, and some great clientele who love to enjoy a hilarious T.V. Show, share stories and have a fun time together! Rosie's salon offers the WHOLE package of a nail get-away! Make sure you plan for a big block of time to appreciate the magazines, spa seats, heated leg massage, wide range of choices, and individual "care" you will receive. My nail designs usually last about eight weeks, with minimal care but LOTS of compliments!!! Occasionally I have had to visit another salon, but I've been disappointed. As a fill- time teacher and mom, I am so happy to have busy hands that I am proud to look at. See you for my 2 o'clock appointment today, Rose! Susan read more

I went in and got a quote to get a mani/pedi and gel polish. The salon was empty and all the girls were lazing around watching bad Jakie Chan movies and talking in another language. The pedi was OK but certainly not great - some toe nails are short and some long - does not look good. They put on finger nail polish but no manicure then argued that they did not quote that and I had to pay $30 for nail polish only - no manicure! They all were very rude throughout and I would not recommend this place. Obviously they have done this before. Bad business. read more

Popped in just for a pedicure - decided to get my gel nails filled as well. All in with tip $94. Can't beat that! The lady who did my nails had very good English, not really chatty, which I appreciate. Will definitely go back. read more

An extremely unpleasant experience!! I wanted to get a shellac manicure and made the unfortunate mistake of going to this awful place. The girl who did my nails was extremely rude, very rough with my hands pulling and yanking on my fingers until I finally had to tell her to stop. When it was time to pick a colour she kept telling me to hurry up and was very frustrated that I couldn't decide immediately (even though she gave me about 200 diff colours to choose from!) the colour I picked looked too light when she put it on but she said I couldn't change it!!!!!( she had only put it on one nail at that point) I insisted she change the colour and she actually made a scene in front of other customers, nearly yelling at me then stormed off!!! When she came back she continued to be rude yanking on my hands and very obviously talking about me to the girl next to her! I can't believe this place is in business treating their customers the way I was treated! Needless to say never again!! read more
