I had my facial consult which was neat because they took photos to see problem areas on my skin. I found the consult to not be so helpful. I was recommended things that other spas would refuse to do to my skin because it was too harsh. I'm super careful and knowledgeable about different treatments so this kind of sent off a red flag for me. They really only recommended treatments which they had the machines for which was pretty limited from what I am accustomed to from going to medical spas. I also was actually taken back by the prices as they were alot more than other places I've been to. Hence probably why I never tried them before. Anyways...I ended up being model for a hydra facial Deluxe for $235 and got 50% off my treatment. The tech was actually new and I felt like she didn't give me a proper treatment because I could feel that she had missed some areas and didn't focus on my problematic areas (nose and chin). Luckily I was using a gift card and got a discount for the treatment. But if I had paid full price I would definitely have been disappointed. Overall. They have good options available for treatments and plenty of products which I am yet to try. And maybe I'll come back for one of their specials. But my skin didn't feel or look as glorious as it typically did compared to getting a $235 treatment elsewhere. So I'm not sure I can justify the full price from this experience. It was overall a positive experience but a few things were off for me. I am a spa addict and I have extremely high expectations of going to a spa for treatments so take this with a grain of salt.

It definitely feels like a high-end experience when you enter. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and offer you drinks while you wait. Both of my appointments have been with Crystal, a nurse practitioner who specializes in injectables. During my first appointment with her, she gave me a bit of a consult and while I have had botox before, she was able to offer helpful opinions. While doing the injections, she makes the experience feel as safe and painless as possible. After my first visit she recommended a follow-up 2 weeks later to make sure everything was looking the way it should. Lucere is definitely more expensive than other clinics I have been to but you definitely get what you pay for.

My friend who came with me was beyond shocked when she heard her say all that she did. Now I'm not a smoker/drinker or anything, and I know my face doesnt need that much done to it (it's just showing my age is all) and I thought I'd treat myself to a little pick me up. So I don't understand why insulting a possible future client before they even meet the doctor is in anyway beneficial. I was quite genuinely hurt by her comments, I told her that and she replied with "It's not my fault you're so thin skinned" That was really all it took, my friend stood up and escorted me out of there immediately. She told me I didn't deserve to be in tears by some rude receptionist, and looking back now I'm so happy she did what she did. So although I can't comment on how well their treatment works, I can tell you first hand how they run their business. I ask that if you're looking for a procedure that they're offering here, please go look somewhere else. No one should have to go through what I did, people dont deserve to leave their office crying. This business needs to really step up their game, and maybe clean house and hire a new receptionist. That is by far the best deal I've seen on any site like that since I've been signed up for 6 months. They even let you choose from a number of hair removal sites, I chose underarms. Since I had never had anything like this done before, when I called to make an appointment they told me I needed to have a consultation done first (it was free) to have a test patch done in case of a bad reaction. Thankfully I wasn't allergic! I've gone there 3 out of 6 times so far and although it's a bit irritating (you can't expect a process like that to be painless), I'm always in and out in under 10 minutes. I never have to wait, even when I show up early. The technician is always professional, and the staff are always friendly. I'm from downtown Edmonton and I'd be willing to continue making the drive to Sherwood Park, even without a Living Social coupon. Even if I don't have the chance to get a sweet deal on laser hair removal from there again, I'd most likely go back when I'm ready to get other areas lasered.

Unfortunately the esthetician and owner, Kim, was sick that day but had missed contacting me to let me know she couldn't be there. She felt bad for not letting me know and offered to reschedule my appointment free of charge. I went for my waxing appointment yesterday and it was great! Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The space was extremely chaotic and noisy. Students were loud, unfocused, and constantly socializing over clients. It didn't feel like a training environment at all. I even had to ask them to quiet down because they were chatting over my head while cutting my hair. The haircut itself was poor, and even simple beard‑trim instructions were mishandled. The instructor offered very little guidance and didn't step in to correct obvious mistakes. My friend's haircut was even worse -- genuinely upsetting to see. The one bright spot was Miranda at the front desk. She was calm, elegant, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She was the only person who gave the place any sense of order. Overall, the service and training quality were far below expectations. A+ for Miranda. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was an F.
