My first visit at this clinic is the most pleasant visit i ever had in my entire life! I walked out of the cinic, happy and contented!!! After visiting a walmart vision center i wasn't too happy about the results that they had given so i wanted to look for a diffirent opthamlogist. First i was so amazed on how their clinic looked like, was very clean, very inviting and very classy. The doctors assistant was very nice and accommodating. I was very pleased with Dr. Tran because she was patient, informative and just all smiles!! She helped me with my contact lenses and even gave me extra ones to try on plus extra colored ones for my vacation without charging me at all!!! FINALLY!! I now have the best optometrist I've ever wanted.. no more crappy service and over priced optometry anymore. My S.O. has been coming to this optometry for over 5 years. The previous optometrist retired and handed it over to a younger optometrist named Dr. Susan Tran. She has trusted both optometrist ever since and recommended me to give this optometry a try. I scheduled an appointment which is always the best thing to do and was taken care of right when I arrived. The front lady was very friendly and assisted me with information. Afterwards I checked out the glasses selection before Dr. Tran took care of me. She really does more than any optometrist I've ever had (which is around 5). She checks everything good and bad about your eye and has the experience to recommend fixes if needed! She's prompt and very very friendly. She makes sure you're comfortable. When it comes to eyes she doesn't mess around! I've recommended at least 5 people and they've all said good things about her. So its definitely not just me! This office is amazing! I called on a Monday afternoon after finding this place on Yelp and was seen the same day. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and after filling out the paperwork, I was seen almost immediately. I like that Dr. Tran does the entire eye examination on her own. Rather than having an assistant, she stays with you the entire time and is very patient in answering any questions. I have very sensitive eyes and it has been really hard to find a pair of contacts that don't irritate my eyes, and I really appreciated that Dr. Tran ordered several trial pairs to make sure I found something that really worked for me. After the exam, her friendly receptionist even helped me pick out a pair of glasses and made sure that it had everything I wanted. The best part is that I was able to pick up my glasses the following day. I was really impressed with how prompt they were and how they took the time to follow up with me and make me feel really comfortable in their office. Oh wow! Dr. Tran and her staff are so very nice and polite. Dr. Tran sure does love her job and made sure that I was comfortable while she was inspecting my eyes. You can tell she loves it in her laugh and smile, especially when she is in serious mode and goes over the instructions of how to care for your eyes. The office is very beautifully set up and includes the warmness of the friendly staff. Ana is really sweet and responds to children happily. The bathroom was also surprisingly clean. Now I say surprisingly because I have been to many places and they do not have as good an upkeep as this office does, and it smells good too! The fact that they also accommodate everyone with being able to charge their phones is also great because who knows, it may come in handy. And don't forget the ongoing movies for the kids! Omg, my kids are big fans of the movies and Ana. The selection that they have is amazing and more modern, which is nice and a bit pricey, but worth the money. I'm looking forward to getting the contacts as well as I have heard good things about them. I haven't had my glasses for very long but know that they will last and that if I need a replacement, I can rely on Rosemead Optometry to have a quick turn around service. I love Dr Tran!! I reached out to her in the evening after hours because my 2 year old started to have discharge in his eyes, the first signs of infection. So I wanted to know if there was anything I can do and to make sure I can come see her first thing in the morning. She responded right away, showed genuine concern and offered great tips! She quickly called in a prescription and my son is on the mend. Dr Tran will respond quickly when there is an emergency or any concern. BEST OPTOMETRIST IN THE 626!!! So this review is way overdue...I've been a patient of Dr. Tran for over three years now. Originally I was referred to her by a friend, after unsuccessfully trying a few other optometrist (and one ophthalmologist) I can say hands down she is head and shoulders above the rest. Dr. Tran is very though with her exams and will not rush through your exam. Dr. Tran truly cares about her patients, and it shows in the commitment she has for providing the best care possible. She is bilingual so, if you have Viet parents/relatives she will be able to take care of them too. The front office staff is also is as extraordinary as Dr. Tran. Anna was very helpful in explain my insurance coverage (VSP), as well as helping me pick out the perfect frames. I have been extremely impress by the timeliness and punctual manner in which the office is run. The other optometrist offices I've been to in the 626 are infamous for their long wait times (even with an appointment). Not Rosemead Optometry, for the pass 3 plus years I've never waited more than 5 minutes (happened during my initial visit) past my appointment time to see Dr. Tran. In my honest opinion this demonstrate a unparalleled commitment to excellence and professionalism. Finally, Rosemead Optometry is a "mom and pop" business, and not some chain store in the business of lining their pockets (reference Costco, Lenscrafters, Walmart, etc.). Rosemead Optometry was highly recommended by my family members. I came here for my end of the year eye exam and was helped by Dr. Susan Tran. She is very knowledgable and thoroughly explained everything to me. I was pleasantly surprised at how meticulous & patient Dr. Tran was during my eye examination! Although there were numerous patients still waiting for her services, she did not rush through my exam! After my eye exam was completed I was expecting Dr. Tran to tell me that I needed a pair of designer glasses or something of that nature. Instead, Dr. Tran explained to me that my slightly blurry vision was due to eye fatigue and did not try to "sell" me any glasses. I started going to Rosemead Optometry when it was headed by Dr. Pham and I saw the transition as Dr. Pham transferred her practice to Dr. Tran. To be honest, when Dr. Pham (who was also excellent) left, I was a little wary to see a new, young optometrist. However, Dr. Tran has been just as great as Dr. Pham if not better.
