IMHO The Container…read moreStore recently partnered up with Bed Bath & Beyond due to a company buy-out. I've been a customer for years and was curious about what this meant for one of my favorite stores. Happily, The Container Store has not lost any of its organizational charm. Inventory seems to have lessened a little, but I could still find familiar products and categories. At the time of my visit, there was a 30% off Store-wide sale on all products, except their signature elfa shelving units, I think. That's a pretty good sale for The Container Store! I also found a 60% off section and a Clearance 70% off area in the far back corner of the store. I ended up buying a collapsible hamper bag for only $8.79. Did I see a presence of Bed Bath & Beyond? Besides the signage on the automatic sliding front glass doors, perhaps a little bit, but not enough to recall. Maybe some furniture and sheets? I dunno. Customer service has always been friendly, helpful and available. Will I return? You betcha!

The Container Store is in the process of transitioning over to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We checked…read moreit out today, where signs were all over the store "25% off entire store". When my friend went to pay she was told the item she was buying was not 25% off as it's a new item (saute pan). She told the cashier there was a sign saying everything is 25% off, he offered her a 20% discount if she agreed to signing up for emails. She did not agree. This was poorly handled, they should have honored the posted sign. As a result, we left unhappy with a foul taste and will probably not go back, going to Santana Row is already a hassle with having to pay for parking.

I work for a contractor, I'm in a Home Depot every day, soquel, Watsonville, Salinas, and seaside…read more Of all the Home Depot I regularly visit, soquel is the worst. Their pro desk has the laziest staff I've ever seen. Every other location, when there's only one or two pro cashiers and there's and there's customers waiting, the pro manager will jump in and help or come over and help is they're somewhere else. Not soquel, the lazy ass manager is ALWAYS sitting in his chair at the pro desk but never offers to help not even if there's one cashier and 10 customers waiting (I've seen it happen). The rest of the pro desk isn't much better, when there's a line or holdup it's usually because 2 cashier's are chit chatting, one cashier is chitchatting with the lazy manager, or the cashier is chitchatting with a client well after they've finished that clients transaction. Multiple times I've looked for items that shows stock on their app but can't find on the shelf. When I ask anyone at that location,, they check their device and it almost always shows the same stock as the app but their answer is always "the app is probably wrong". I then ask, "can you check if you have some up on the top rack". They always refuse, always say how they know there's nothing up top, or the classic, "there was a customer here earlier looking for the same thing and we looked up too and didn't find any so there's none in stock. Knowing how lazy they are I always end up searching the top rack looking for the sku and always end up finding the stock, honestly has happened too many times. Corporate need to have this place looked at, check the surveillance video and you'll see how the pro desk is just so bad compared to other locations

William had the terrible job of telling EVERYONE the power went out and we could not be helped even…read moreif we had an appointment. I had just walked 2 miles on the hottest day of the year, and had no phone service ( the reason for my appointment) I thanked him and said I had to wait because I wasn't going to walk back and hoped my husband would arrive soon. After telling several potential customers, William asked to look at my phone and said maybe a reset of a setting might help.... I let him do it ( what could go bad ) It actually worked and WOW was I happy! I may have told him I loved him. William then proceeded to help an older gentleman with a computer and a very lost look. He calmed him and rescheduled his appointment to the next day. My husband finally came and I jumped into the air conditioning and left my new love with the rest of his very hot shift. Would totally recommend the helpful William!

I made an appointment with the "Geek Squad" to repair the back of my iPhone. Upon arriving at 5:40…read morePM, I was told that the repair would take approximately three hours, but they couldn't do it that day because their "tech" had to leave at 7 PM. The store's scheduled closing time that day was 9 PM. I spoke with the manager on site, who tried to help by calling the "Geek Squad tech" back. Once again, I did not feel like a valued customer. When I asked why they would accept a repair appointment if they didn't have a technician available to complete the job, the tech simply shrugged, as if he couldn't care less. At that point, I realized I was just wasting my time dealing with someone who clearly had no concern for customer satisfaction or retention. The worst part is that I have been a Best Buy customer for many years. I even have their credit card and extended warranties for my 65" TV. Needless to say, Best Buy lost a customer today. I am canceling my Best Buy credit card and extended warranties, and I will never set foot in a Best Buy store again.

After reading previous review reviews, I was a little apprehensive, walking in knowing what many others had experienced with their customer service. I will say when I walked in there was somebody who promptly greeted me and my husband, when we walked in and made some small talk. As we peruse the store, I did experience a little of what other people were saying as the employee seemed to keep popping up to chat with us as we per the store. I can understand why some customers may think that it may come off as the employees are watching you while you shop. I don't think that was what was happening at all. I think they were trying to definitely just be more friendly and welcoming, but I think they do need to tone down how many times they pop up while you are walking around the store. All of the items they have to offer are a fabulous quality and definitely a great spot to pick up gifts for others. When I'm in the area, I will definitely pop in and shop again.
