If I could leave ZERO stars I would. How can this so called "business" accept 3 appointments, make the customers wait a half an hour past their set appointment time, then tell their customers they can only accommodate 1 appointment and the other two would need to return the next day. HORRIBLE with no understanding of the definition of the word appointment. RUN from this salon to one that actually honors appointments. read more

When i went here i went with my three friends, and it was the middle of the day on a friday, and we were able to get seated pretty quickly. The salon itself is kind of small, and they don't have a lot of staff, they have more chairs than staff but luckily i got seated right away. The salon also isn't very nice looking, very outdated. This months set is a pink to white ombre with square shape, and i got a gel fill in. Wendy did my nails and she didn't give me much time to pick a color, and seemed a little frustrated when i was indecisive but eventually picked out a color for me which i ended up really liking. The nail shapes themselves are good, perfect squares, they're just a little uneven in length. She didn't compare my two hands to check if they were even. They are also very thick which is weird since they're just uv gel. Wendy was a little sloppy with the dremil, she kept burning me and accidentally nicking me, i think it was just because she was going fast. The ombre looks nice, very seamless, and overall i like the way my nails turned out, very feminine and natural looking. The price wasn't bad, 50 dollars with a student discount. A good place to go if you're a student in the area and need a basic set, i dont know if id go to them for anything more complex. read more

My mom had a 10 am appointment for a pedicure and gel fill and my wife and I had an appointment for 11am, my wife a manicure and myself a pedicure. When we got there at 11, they told my mom they couldn't do her fill bc no one there could do gel fills. We waited until 11:45. My wife sat down and they said they'd do my pedicure after her manicure. Then they said they couldn't do her manicure bc they couldn't do the dip. They said they'd do my pedicure but we left. The customer service was terrible. I've gone previously as it's close to my home and never had good experience, but I will never be back. Worth noting it's Sunday and we made the appointments on Thursday. After we left my wife called New Ran Nail in Trumbull and they took us immediately and did a fantastic job. Go there. read more

Literally the worst place to get your nails done. I'm home from college and I needed was to get a gel manicure, no acrylics no nothing, JUST GEL COLOR. Picked white which probably is the easiest color to do, but somehow she made it look absolutely terrible. It's completely streaky and didn't dry so there's lint stuck to it and it's just an absolute mess. She used the tiniest bit of nail polish as if to conserve their nail polish and the place was absolutely dirty. I'm baffled as to how someone works at a nail salon but can't actually PAINT nails. Probably the easiest thing to do considering a lot of people get fake nails nowadays and it's a whole process. Will not be going here ever again and I will advise everyone I know against going here. read more

I have gone to this salon periodically for the last 5 years. I have never had any major complaints until today. I came in for a reg manicure pedicure for my graduation tomorrow. I told the girl that for my pedicure, I wanted NO exfoliating scrub as I had just put on a self tanner several days before. She still did that, massaged an area that I told her was injured and to stay away from, and then during my manicure, filed the skin around my nail rather than the nail when I asked for a square shape. I was drying my nails and another worker asked me if I was done with the dryer and I said "no im just putting on the lotion" and she proceeded to take the dryer from in front of me and give it to her client. I cannot believe my experience today and doubt I will ever be going back. read more

This nail salon is my new place. Affordable pricing, clean, friendly staff, quiet atmosphere and comfy chairs with pillows so you are not sitting up straight the whole time. As soon as I walked in, I was seated and I don't know his name but he was the only male there this morning. I requested SNS nails and He was sooo good. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails, the shape is everything to me. I love when the technician listens and he listened and I don't have to say anything to him he was fulfilling my OCD wishes without voicing them. Great attention to detail!! If I could give this place a zero I would. The lack of communication and cleanliness was unreal. I sat next to my friend while she got her nails done as I waited to also get my nails done. The other two technicians took two new people after about an hour as I continued to wait almost two hours. I asked several times if the guy was going to do it and he told me he would, but then didn't. So after two hours when both of my friends nails were done, I left pissed and dissapointed. They both had a terrible experience too. One left with divits in her dip powder and the other left with crooked and tinted blue fingers. They were also told to write down their credit card information without being asked. Overall the worst experience all of us have ever had at a nail salon. read more

I have been going to Rose Nail for over ten years! I will no longer be going there! Went in yesterday for a pedicure. The owner sat a woman who came in five minutes after me before me. That was problem number one. I was told there would be a five minute wait, it was 15 minutes. I decided to get a callous pedicure. The girl was so rude. I told her the water was too hot she said no it's not. She didn't massage my legs or feet which is included in the massage. I paid by credit card so I signed the receipt and I was writing a note on my copy and the girl grabbed the pen out of my hand. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience was horrible. read more

Gee, I thought my experience was weird, but I'm reading the other reviews, so maybe not. I do SNS. I sat down with one of the two men, who, I think was the owner. The other guy is always nasty, but this guy used to be okay. He soaked my nails in acetone, which is fine, but when the gel is off, I prefer to get my nails out of the bowl. He's somewhere else, so I'm wiping the stuff off myself. He comes back, pushes my hands in. I decide to sit put. Finally, he gets started. The acetone has slathered my hands with goo. He just gets started. I'm looking at him. Are you going to let me get this off my hands? Are you going to wipe it off? He keeps going. Secondly, no base. Then he does 1 and 2. You can't do 1 and 2, your polish will be too thin. See the images. I asked him about it. He said it was right. (You should know, the ladies do 3 and 3- too thick. The other man, who used to be the ruder of the two, does 2 and 2.) I'm pretty sure he didn't put a base on. At this point, I just want to get out of there. I already know I'm going to have to go somewhere else. The whole time, he has this disgusted look on his face, like there is something wrong with me. He finishes and wants to put lotion on my hands. I say, "I think I'd better wash this goo off, don't you?" He asks, "Before the massage?" So, yes, now the absurdity has hit a new low. I say, yes, I'm going to wash the glue off my hands before the massage. I wash my hands, but don't get it all off- not for lack of trying. He throws on some lotion and bam, done. No massage, no thanks for coming in. "Thirty-five dollars!" I smile. I always smile. Are they deliberately trying to run off customers? See the pics, because that's what I saw when I hit the light of day (outside). There's something weird going on with some nail salons these days. I'm seeing random rudeness that's off-putting to the point of running off business. Every time I sit in a chair, I pay and I tip. I gave this place about 4 chances, always hoping for a better outcome; unfortunately I never got that. HORRIBLE horrible place. The place isn't as clean as it ought to be. All employees are not friendly at all, and you can tell all they want is business. Today I got my nails done, gel, and went back home and did absolutely nothing. I checked out my nails and saw that the neutral color I went with was stained on all my fingers. I never had that before and decided I wanted to go back and ask them to fix it because I was very unpleased with the result. AS i went and showed the "manager" or owner or whatever he is, he said "we can't do anything.. it is your nails they are dirty". I was SHOCKED at his rudeness and told him I have been here many times but all he did was give me the stinky eye so I just walked out and am NEVER going back there or giving them another chance. Horrible service.. I'd rather spend the extra $5 or even $10 somewhere else. read more

If i could rate this place no stars at all I would. Every time I come to this location I feel as if I am being rushed out. Today was my last time for sure. I was over charged and the woman who was taking care of my nails was extremely rude. Not only was she sarcastic but she argued with me about nail colors until I finally decided that I didn't want her to paint my nails at all. The owner didn't care how upset I was about the service. I've been to this nail salon a few times and have had a decent experience. However, today the woman doimg my nails was extremely rude not to mention very rough. She filed my nails so aggressively that she broke my skin and I began to bleed. When I tried to look at my nails to see how they came out after being under the UV light she proceeded to rip my hand away to continue working on them. It was not a relaxing experience in the slightest. She also seemed very displeased with the tip she received when she didn't deserve one to begin with. read more

I've only been there for manicures and pedicures, but they offer many other services. They do a wonderful job and are less expensive than other nails salons around the area. Pedicure only takes 8 minutes to be exact. The lady look sooooo mad I had to ask her if she was ok. She didn't do much for my feet except for washing it and putting some lotion. Something I could've done home. I usually get my gel manicure at the Trumbull mall but I see that they have a special so I said let me try them out. The worst gel manicure I ever got. She was forcing my feet in and out of the water, applied lotion and scrub, and painted my toes. Didn't massage my feet at all. She was in a rush I have no idea why. Terrible. Received a gift card and was going on vacation decided to use the 20 gift card and I got a pedi and gel Left on vacation the same day notice that the color on my nails was fading away. I went back to the salon a week later when I return and show them my nails the owner very rude accuse me of putting another color over it and then turn around and said it was the work I was doing which I was doing nothing. Then he ask me for the card showing I was there I look at him and said Bella did my nails and pointed her out. They look at it and said that they will redo them for half price. Any good salon would have look closely and corrected it. Then the owner ignore me and called a customer over and started working on the customer total ignoring my complaint. I felt he was rude unprofessional and did not care. I left paying 45 dollars but I will never go back there again and I will let every one know about them. Also the owner stated that I should had come in sooner but a week had went by and I said to him I was on vacation if I was here I would have been here sooner. But at the end he did not care. read more
