i can tell you, both sisters who own Sophea's Nail Studio has been doing nails for well over 16 yrs. they have been doing my nails for 7 yrs and i will not go to anyone else... i believe both Sophea and Tara do a MAGNiFiCENT job... i've tried everything and they did the best which is the only way they know how... my nails always look great and natural and i loved telling everyone that they did my nails... i also loved the compliments i get from both males and females... plus they have a good cilentel who will travel any distance just to get their nails done by them... you can even ask them i can go longer then a month without a refill (i take great care of my nails) when i use to get gel or acrylic... i had every color and design image and my eye brows always look right. They obviously know what they are doing and what they talk about. now i let my natural nails grow and they still do a great job painting my nails and it lasts sooo long... Sophea's Nail Studio has a upbeat humble atmosphere. where it is nothing but easy to get along with them.. with affordable and a reasonable pricing... They give you good long lasting natural looking nails...They are really good at what they do! I can't image going to anywhere else. read more

The lady I was supposed to be booked with didn't take me and instead this random lady came and said I was with her, when the lady was glueing on the nails she made some of the nails crooked and I told her she just said okay and I guess didn't do what I asked her to do, I asked her for almond shaped nails and it took her an hour for her to file my nails and it was even good and I had to ask her multiple times to fix the shape then she applied the acrylic she was not even done with shaping the nails and she just said she would finish them after putting on the acrylic so I trusted her, when she was shaping them she cut me with the drill also she dropped it twice and I said nothing but I was pissed, at the end when I asked her to just file a part of the nail because it was crooked she said it was my nail and my nails are naturally not crooked sooo like yea, I would never come back here! read more

Was looking for a local nail salon that does UV gel, and Sophea's was recommended by a friend. I called to make an appointment and the owner was friendly and welcoming. I have never left a review before but I've never been so incredibly disappointed in my entire life. Every nail and french tip is a different shape & size. The woman spent 98% of the time watching Netflix. When I tried to let her know one of the French tip outlines were crooked she cut me off and said she wasn't finished. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and left there in tears. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever endured. 10/10 would literally never recommend. I have been a customer at Sopheas for over 4 years. The ladies that work with her, as well as Sophea herself, are some of the nicest nail techs I've ever encountered. I do walk ins sometimes and sometimes make appointments, i have to wait a a little while when I do walk ins (as expected) but also since they're very good at what they do they are pretty packed sometimes.. when, the once in a blue, same day appointment doesn't work out, Sophea made me an appointment that worked for us both the following day. Recently, my nails have been uneven shaped and lengths or the paint is partially translucent. My friend recommended Sophea's and I'm so happy I went. I had Fernanda and she was sweet and there wasn't a moment where it felt rushed like many nail salons. The shape and color are exactly what I wanted. Everyone inside had good vibes, so I'm sure it's easy to talk to them. If you're quiet like I am - they have a large TV with pretty entertaining shows on. -worst nail salon ever... I've been getting my nails done for about 13 years. I asked for a gel fill. She charged me $4 for a broken nail but took off the acrylic on the top of my real nail which was long. I asked her why and she said it's the same thing as a tip but better. Wrong. I kept having to tell her to file them to the correct shape. The pink for the French did not cover the fill as she claimed. After she put on the gel, it was bumpy in some places. I got sick of telling her to fix it and just left with a tip for effort. The gel coating has turned yellow days later. They don't even oil your cuticles or run lotion over your hands. This place is total crap. read more

My friend recommended me to come here because she always comes here to get her nails done. I got a new acrylic set. It took about 45 minutes and they came out great besides two fingers on my right hand. My pointer finger and ring finger are super skinny and are crooked. My pinky nail on my right hand as well isn't crooked but it's super skinny as well which is disappointing after spending $40. But otherwise they do a great job I just had higher expectations, probably won't be returning. read more

I've been going to this nail salon since they've opened. Clean, Professional, Friendly, Reasonably priced. They are all always so willing to accommodate even if I need to change/ switch around my appointments or when I didn't have one at all they have always fit me in for a fill or pedicure. I don't always get there every two weeks but my nails always hold up beautiful, never chipped or dull. The nail designs are beautiful! Every design is "hand painted" to perfection. So I'm not sure what's going on, the first few times where great but the last few where extremely overpriced. The girls seem really under trained and young l. I'm not even sure if they them self are licensed to do your nails, they're a family run affiliation and literally you can feel the cold chill and animosity at times when you walk in. They have become really dirty and sloppy which angers me because this was not like this a year or so ago. The owner was literally watching t.v. the whole time as she did my nails. I was like wtf this is unprofessional on so many levels. The nail Polish boxes look run down and old. There walls look dirty l. There chairs don't massage well. One of the most inviting salons I've ever been to. Workers are extremely friendly and willing to try different designs than your typical white french manicure. I went to 3 other nail salons before coming here looking to get a colored french. No one understood! They got it right the first time and exceeded my expectations when finished. I have been to this salon twice. The first time was enjoyable. The staff is kind and friendly. The salon is clean and quaint. I went this morning and my nail technician was very sweet, yet the polish I picked was very light and watery as she applied. She told me that they put thinner in sometimes and they must have put too much. She did apply three coats to make up for the lack of color, which I thought was lovely. My major issue today was I was one of two customers, and the other woman was discussing extremely inappropriate topics using language that made me feel down right uncomfortable. Instead of asking her to tone it down, the employee fed into her and continued with the conversation that lasted the entire hour I was there. It was the worst salon experience I've had in my life, due to how this other customer was encouraged to behave. She was clearly a regular, which means, I won't be. read more

I visited for the first time today. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. The girls were very sweet, and a pleasure to talk to. The salon however was a little run down. There isn't great ventilation, the chairs are a bit worn, and they do not use plastic to cover the pedicure tubs for each pedicure. Five stars for the nail technicians! The ladies were Rude and unprofessional. I was left unattended for over 30 minutes, they knew I was upset, did not apologize INSTEAD they were gossiping amongst themselves and just kept starring at me. The hefty lady (don't know her name) she handles the money, gave me attitude and didn't apologize for the delay and when asked me if I still want a Pedi, I told her no. She rudely walked away and popped her collar. I came here once when I was just driving through the area and have been hooked ever since. Prices aren't the cheapest, but I love the work they do. You can show them a picture of a nail design and they will do it for you. They are very precise with their work. And the thing I liked most about this place is that everyone interacts with each other, very very friendly and funny people. read more
