I went in here recently for a gel mani/pedi. I had high hopes for this visit given the reviews about new owners and a clean environment. The woman who did my service was sweet and helpful finding my color, but it was clear that she was either inexperienced or poorly trained. For $75 (more with tip), I would have expected better technique and more attention to detail. Also I sat there for well over two hours and I would not say it was the calming environment I desired: there were fruit flies flying around me the entire time and the facility did not appear to be frequently cleaned. New owner Jackie bought this place a year ago so disregard any older reviews. She's amazing best pedicure with such a great leg massage and back massage when you're drying. She really takes the time to make everything perfect, perfectionist in a good way. Truly the best, I won't even bother going somewhere else even when I'm traveling. They actually will do shellac pedicures without charging outrageous prices, and their shellac manicures are amazing. I've been living in CT for 2 years (and many salons), and this is the first salon that provides the same level of quality product as I'm used to, and the owner is very pleasant and kind. This place was nice at the time, attentive ladies, back massages, paraffin wax dip for my pedicure. Unfortunately the long lasting results I am used to weren't there. My pedicure has already chipped in multiple spots a few days after getting it, which we all know, pedicures are usually like glue and never budge. My gel polish was already peeling off and chipping not even a week later. right now I have 4 un-gel'd nails while I type this, 6 days after my manicure. Disappointed that I spent $65 on a mani-pedi without getting long lasting results for it. read more

I just had my first manicure at this hidden gem! I guess it is not very "hidden" to me, as I take my dry cleaning next door to Jay's (highly recommend his place as well.) I had an amazing gel manicure! The staff was friendly, and the woman, Young, who did my manicure was extremely detail-oriented. It turned out beautifully! I was also massaged for the majority of the time while getting a manicure, and that was absolutely incredible. I left feeling so relaxed, and will return to Pink without a doubt. Highly recommended! The BEST nail salon I have ever been to- and I have been to a lot. I was greeted immediately upon arriving and doted on by 3 people. I came in for a pedicure and a gel manicure and was immediately seated and worked on. The facility is very clean- they even line the pedicure baths with a giant shower cap type of contraption. I was massaged the entire time between the chair back massager, the pedicure which inflicted a paraffin dip and a hot stone massage, and even a hot stone massage on my back while I was getting my manicure as well. The time and attention taken on my nails shows- they look amazing! And best of all, the prices are incredibly reasonable. The pedicure was absolutely amazing, the massage that you get is sooooooo relaxing but my gel manicure sadly didn't last longer than a day. I woke up the next morning with the gel completely off one of my nails and the color was faded after I got out of the shower. This entire thing really pisses me off because my mom treated me to this and it cost $145 not including their tip. Definitely never ever returning. read more

I was in dire need of a good pedicure no thanks to all my winter boots so I stopped in after reading all the reviews. The salon was quiet so I was helped immediately by the very friendly staff. I had a hard time picking out a color for my nails because the selection was so big. I had the most relaxing mani pedi of my life. The gentle music and all the massaging nearly put me to sleep. Towards the end of the pedicure, they dipped my feet in wax, also a first, and it was really interesting. Not sure what it was for but I assume it made my feet softer. I opted for a shellac manicure (got a included back massage with heat almost the entire time my nails were worked on) and it turned out beautifully. Really happy about the service and friendliness I received during my visit. The only thing is that the establishment looks a little outdated. The pedicure chairs look like they've seen better days. The prices were great. I got a pedicure and shellac manicure for about $55. Overall a very calm and relaxing experience. Would definitely return. read more

Pink nails is a hidden gem. Very attentive ladies. New to the neighborhood I came a couple months ago for an eye brow wax, it was a cold day and they gave me the heated towels to warm me, an extra touch shows they care about their customers. So months go by and finally take the time to get my mani pedi, again super job. I went with the Eucalyptus Spa Pedicure since I had neglected my poor feet so long. So far so a fantastic choice. Now it is 15 minutes to closing and they are not rushing to finish to leave. Definitely found my new nail spot. read more

I have been looking for a nail salon in the area that I actually like and finally found this place! The employees are very friendly and talkative. My basic pedicure included paraffin wax and a long massage. All services come with a hot stone back massage. Also, they have great wax specials on Tuesdays ($13 for bikini, 10 for underarms, $5 for eyebrows, and $4 for upper lip). I got a UV gel fill and my nails look great. Will return for sure! read more

I've been here before and after the owners changed and I was surprised how amazing the store turned into as well as the staffs. Before the owner changed, I went to get a pedicure but I was not satisfied. The price was good but I would rather pay extra to receive better service and treatment. However, I was in the area so I stopped by again and noticed that the owner has changed previous year. All of the staffs welcomed me and my nails and toes turned out so beautiful! They did a amazing job and I felt comfortable. I would totally recommend this place to people and I bought a couple of gift certificate for my mom and friends! Today I had my first nail service here. I have had wax and was happy with results. My pedicure was very sloppy, not very relaxing as she only massaged for a moment or two. I didn't have any shoulder massage either. My last pedi was mid June at a salon I go to regularly. (They were full today.) I had to ask the girl who had already began the next pedi to clean polish from around my nails. She actually seemed annoyed. For 25 dollars I am used to better service. After reading Yelp reviews, I stopped here to get a pedicure. The salon was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The other customers were clearly regulars, as they knew everyone's names, and the women working in the salon knew theirs. I selected a pedicure ($35) and settled into the massage chair. The pedicure involved lots of foot and calf massage (with a hot stone) in addition to all of the foot treatments/clipping/filing/exfoliating that you would expect. And before the massage, my feet were dipped in paraffin wax. They are so well moisturized right now! My toes are now painted flawlessly--the woman took her time with each brush stroke and it really shows. And while my toes were drying, I was given a hot stone massage on my back and shoulders! I felt very pampered by the whole experience. I usually pay a little less for pedicures elsewhere, but you get what you pay for. And by paying a little more, I got a much better pedicure and was given the royal treatment. I will definitely be going back! read more
