This past weekend we decided to treat ourselves to a nail salon day and it was the absolute best time! Cindy was my nail tech and I'm not kidding when I say she gave me the best mani pedi in my entire life! She was so sweet, and she did wonders! My nails have never looked this good. My favorite part? They really treat this like a spa, with their leg/foot massages, they give you a back massage, the music in the background and just the overall vibe -- 10/10 all around! I only went to this salon because I was gifted a certificate. I was shown to a pedicure chair, where. worker came over, no greeting, no water - just him placing a bucket of colors to choose from in front of me. The person who was working on me was rough, and when I asked that he not use the instrument he was using, nothing. The kicker was, I wasn't offered a spa package until AFTER he buffed, filed and PAINTED my toes! At that point I said I'll just go because I figured I didn't make myself clear on what I was looking for (e.g. I requested a gel pedicure instead of a green tea pedicure, etc.) and would just pay for the paint job and be on my way. That's when I was told, a gel polish change alone was $40, although I saw a sign for an entire spa package on the wall - massage, exfoliation, scrub, etc. - was only $48 and no listing of the other prices I questioned. I have been here a few times and i am 17 and everytime i go to pay they are begging for a tip, almost harassing me to tip. I ALWAYS tip my nails tech but when they beg for it, it makes me not want to tip at all. I am going to a wedding in Aruba and decided to get color gel French on my toes. Since it's Monday-Wednesday i decided to get a 55$ spa pedicure and 45$ French powder on my nails since I would get 10 off. However when I go to cashing out the women told me the total was 150$?!?!? I figured she must have done something wrong since 55+45-10 is 95. How much could the French color gel on my toes be. well she seriously argued with me that 45$ for the French color gel on my toes + 55$ for the spa pedicure was acceptable !!! (105 total for my toes) I called two salons after both who told me 15$ was what they charge for the French color gel on toes The new manger is awful and I will never go back nor recommend it read more

I've been going to Ispa for almost a year now. I recently moved to the area. I started off by getting regular manicure/ pedicures and was impressed. I ended up switching to gel so I wouldn't need to go as frequently. I've been impressed every time. My nails look good, they take the time to give you a quality manicure/ pedicure. You can get a massage during your manicure (optional). The salon is spacious, clean and organized. I've never had a problem since I call ahead and make an appointment (which I recommend you do) since they're busy most of the time. I'm happy to have found this salon! read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I was not greeted and when someone finally came up to us, she was extremely rude. I waited 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and was yelled at for having dip powder on my nails when I called ahead to let them know. She left my fingers soaking in acetone for two hours and did a terrible job with the manicure itself. I got a regular nail polish manicure and it was rushed. I have had numerous awful experiences here. A lot of the bad experiences are with the front desk staff. They just don't understand english and no matter what they cannot communicate. They cancel your appointments when you've already arrived, they are awful to make apts with in the first place. They are unclear. There used to be a David who did eyelashes, he left. His replacement for eyelash extensions is kevin. The lashes that he puts on, fall off quickly. He doesn't follow what you say you want nor does he care. They last less than a week. They are 70 bucks + tip. The owner could care less that the quality is so bad. Though this place is a reasonable price I no longer can spend my money here. I suggest you don't either! I had an appointment at 2:30 and then somebody just walked in for a pedicure so I sat in the chair for like 25 minutes waiting to have my pedicure while this walk-in had theres. Meanwhile my feet were not soaking I had nobody apologize for the wait. It was advertised that the spot pedicure was $55 then when I paid the total was 58.69 which was a bit ridiculous and when they went to bring it up they said $55. I'm not very happy I got a French manicure with powder two days ago and came back today for a repair . They used a completely different pink shade and messed up the shape badly . I pointed out the different color and they told me some lie about the color will fade in a day. Not true . After I pointed out (politely) the different color they gave me the silent treatment and I had to let myself know when I could leave. Finding a great nail salon is so hard do! Even though there is a nail salon on every block they're not always great. Previously I went somewhere in Stratford for 10 years and since then have been bouncing around to find a new spot. I've found it now! Four days ago I went for a UV gel fill and the Mandarin honey pedicure. The polish was old and streaky that was on my toes. The UV gel color that matched on my nails was thick and peeling. Today I come in to get it fixed they change the polish on my toes, left some of the old polish and didn't put the color all the way to the cuticle then instead of soaking The liquid gel off the UV gel, they chose to grind it off with a drill and as a result, every nail started to lift, and she was just gonna put the other color gel over it. So I said you can't do that and they said there was nobody there that could do UV gel so they had to take it all off and my nails look horrible short, crooked lumpy. I've been going here for years and their service has been getting progressively worse but today is the last time I will go as they charge me $50 and now I'm gonna have to go elsewhere to get my nails repaired. Have been coming here for several years but today was likely my last visit. The pedicure was too short and oddly shaped. However, worse than my nails was the treatment the staff endured. Fearing for the manicurist, who was was kind and lovely, I dared not complain. The manager/ woman in charge appeared to be verbally abusive to staff and even gave her a shove to go to another client before finished with me. Watched the man go down the line to each client giving what looked like a great massage. There are 8 women in the salon, 2 who arrived after me. Everyone received a massage, except ME! He actually did the woman next to me, skipped me, and did the other woman next to me. They were all WHITE, I was the only BLACK person. Am I being overly sensitive?! Hell no! When I questioned the lady at the desk, she pointed to a "tip in cash" sign. When I said I didn't receive a massage, she acted liked she didn't understand English and was dismissive. Blatant RACISM!! I visited I Spa based on a friend's recommendation and I was not disappointed. I have a difficult relationship with manicures because for some reason normal nail polish chips in 1 day and even gel polish lasts 1 week tops. I have been getting gel dip manicures for the past several months and have been really happy with them because they do not chip for the entire month! I was going to another salon and they did a good job but the nails were always pretty thick. When I asked them to only do 2 coats the guy insisted on doing 3. At I Spa, Chloe did my nails. She had no problem doing 2 coats and then letting me decide if I wanted a 3rd for extra color. I really like my nails to look as natural as possible so I prefer the gel to be very thin. The color I chose was very light and with 2 coats you can see the white of my nails just a bit but I actually like this effect because it looks like a subtle french manicure (see pics). I also skipped out on the base layer to provide a thinner profile. I was very happy with the end result. It remains to be seen if the nails last an entire month since I skipped out on some of the steps that would have made them more durable. The salon is clean and decorated tastefully. I was seen immediately on a Wednesday morning without an appointment, however they were pretty busy and some walk-ins that came in after me were told that it was a 40 minute wait. It's a good sign that they were busy mid-week! I will be back again! read more

I really don't understand all the 5 star reviews this place gets. PROS: quick and efficient. Usually don't have to wait for someone to take care of you CONS: cleanliness is questionable regarding tools they use. Also sat down on a pedicure chair and there were nail clippings. Gross! The nail polish is old, they add paint thinner to it so they can reuse and keep costs down. I know this because I typically will bring my own nail polish and my manicure lasts a week whereas if I use their polish it lasts 2 days before it starts to chip. THE BIGGEST ISSUE: I was getting a pedicure and the girl decided to dig deep with the cuticle cutter and cut a big gash in my toe. My toe bled for a good ten minutes. This also happened to me a second time I was there. Needless to say, I won't ever go back there again. My toe took months to heal and thankfully I did not get an infection. The staff there can be rude at times especially when you don't want to buy a $75 spa pedicure. The guys who do the massages are creepy, NOT licensed and have no clue what they are doing. With so many nail salons on the Post Road between Orange and Milford, I would skip this place and go somewhere else. read more

This place is just OK. I chose to come here based on the Yelp reviews, but I wasn't over the top, in love with it when I left. The manicurist was nice enough, she socialized more with her colleague than she did with me, but that's fine, I do not go to the nail salon to make friends. The bigger issue I had with the place was how long my nails lasted. I will say, the shape that she filed my nails into was PERFECT. That being said, you don't pay (or take out your CC) until after your nails are done and you are sitting under the dryer. This is hard because eventually, you want to leave, but you 100% run the risk of reaching into your purse for your money and chipping your nails right there on the spot. The other thing that was odd about this place is that they seem to expect a 20% + tip on their services. I did not feel that they gave me the best service, so I tipped them closer to 17%. The cashier looked confused and asked me multiple times if the amount I left was for both the manicure and pedicure. I reassured him, yes, but felt so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving a few extra dollars. Finally, the "complimentary" massage, is free in the sense that you don't pay for the person to come around and rub your back while your nails are being done, however, the tip is not optional. If you opt to have the "complimentary" back rub, that means you are now expected to leave a tip for that individual as well. The space is clean, they have a ton of employees which is great (no wait time) and awesome colors. The pricing/tipping weirded me out though, and I probably would try somewhere else before coming back here. read more

I was getting a regular manicure They shaped my nails perfectly and the way i wanted it. It was nice, quiet and peaceful. I was so relaxed. they did have small water bottles for refreshments.
