I went to MBeauty Studio for my first-ever full set of lashes. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful--clean, calming, and very aesthetically pleasing. That's the main reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. I booked a next-day morning appointment with the only tech available at the time. As a first-timer, I was a little confused and surprised that no consultation was offered before starting. I shared clear reference photos of what I wanted--light, fluffy, wispy lashes with that spiky, anime-inspired texture. Unfortunately, what I received was a short, curled, clustered lash line that didn't resemble the look I had requested. While I didn't speak up in the moment due to anxiety, part of me felt there wasn't much point if the tech wasn't capable of delivering the style and there was no one else available to fix it. My eyes were very sore afterward, and the entire experience felt uncomfortable. For the high price, it just didn't feel worth it. I also believe there's a responsibility on the part of ownership and management in any beauty studio to ensure that all techs are trained to a consistent level of talent and artistry--especially when offering premium services. That consistency is key to a positive client experience, and sadly, it was missing in my case. I had been considering them for nano brows, but after this, I'll likely look elsewhere.

My niece, not fully understanding the situation and thinking it might be part of the service, innocently said yes. At the end, when it was time to pay, I was expecting to pay about $32 for two eyebrow services. Instead, my total came to $102. This was very shocking and upsetting. I returned to my regular lash tech a few days later to have them removed which took over an hr and i lost soo many of my natural lashes. But to find out that l was charged $120 for CLUSTERS has me soo disappointed! I added a pic of the lashes after they were removed you can see the amount of glue and the clusters. I believe everyone needs to start somewhere but before you offer a service you haven't perfected you should inform the customers this is not your area of expertise.

The manager said that what I was asking for was very basic and simple and that way it wouldn't be a problem. Halfway through I was suffering in a lot of pain. I don't know exactly what they were doing to me, but when I went to the bathroom (which was broken) I was horrified at the image, staring back at me. I looked like a cheap prostitute. The eyelashes were so full and thick and nothing like the natural look I had showed them. I immediately went to the manager, and the owner was with her, and he tried to convince me that I looked great and better than the photo that I had shown him. He never apologized, and they made no attempt to reconcile the situation. When the job was finished, I insisted that I should not be paying for this because it was nothing like what I asked for and I had to really fight hard for that. The male owner was so intensely rude to me that I could not pay for this! I insisted that I should not have to pay to look like this, and he kept trying to convince me about how how much time and effort the worker put into me and that she deserved to be compensated. It was quite an argument, and I felt terrible about myself when I left. This business was completely unprofessional. I was treated so horribly. Not only was the service ugly, but the business aesthetic is akin to your local DMV. I was also forced to listen to an hour and a half news broadcast from President Trump at full-volume. Not exactly the relaxing service environment. Usually when you're getting your brows or lashes or hair done, you're in a beautiful location, listening to calm, peaceful music. I have had my nails done here several…read moretimes now and usually they do a pretty good job even though the place is very dirty, however, the last time I went, the girl at station 9, in the dirty yellow shirt, did my nails. After she filed them for about 2 hours, never asking me how I wanted them shaped, charged me an extra $5. She argued and insisted she told me, but she did not! I have referred many people to Nail Club, but I will never go back and will never, ever, refer anyone ever again. This girl is rude and a liar!!
