I have only had eyebrows waxed here but for the price it was well worth it. The eyebrows come out great.

My cuticle was cut by Mindy and it bled. Mindy asked her assistant to work on my pedicure as soon as her favorite customer came in. She did not even apologized after I showed her the bleeding. It was so painful that the paint got ruined. I just asked her assistant to remove the paint and didn't ask to continue for the pedicure even if I already paid Mindy and gave her the tip. I didn't ask for a refund and didn't ask to return the tip to me. I just want to get out of that place. Worst experience I ever had!!!! read more

Had a gel manicure and a spa pedicure with Mindy this morning. She was so sweet, the service was absolutely amazing, and the salon was very clean. I 100% will be going back once my nails need to be redone. She also gave me coupons for my next visit. The few negative reviews do not align with my experience. Not a good place for nails. The place itself was really dirty and small and Mindy was not very nice. She is very pushy and made us feel crazy for wanting a power finish for nails instead of gel. There are a lot of other good places in the area, so don't waste your time at this place given the service and the prices, it is a no-go! read more

Mindy did not do a great job with my manicure and pedicure. She used the stone to clean my nails up to the point where the skin above my cuticles were red. She did not apologize when I told her that she is hurting me. It looks like she was in a bad mood because I came in as soon as she opened the door and her assistant hasn't shown up/late. I'll never go back to that place again and I DO NOT recommend Mindy Nail Spa. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We had an appointment for powder gel manicure and pedicure. The woman who was here (the owner I presume) was extremely pushy and would not let my sister get a powder gel as she requested. Several times we said she wanted powder gel but the woman proceeded to shout about how damaged my sisters nails were and insisted that she get this "organic gel" from Korea. My sister finally agreed just to get the woman to stop talking. I was there for a pedicure and I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to be ready, despite having an appointment and asking when I made that appointment if they had the staff to do us at the same time. In addition, the salon is cluttered and dirty. Horrible experience. Will not return. read more

Be careful when having anything waxed. Mindy will do other services without asking you. So you will get a huge bill! Not cool at all.

Best nail salon by far. Personalized service. Amazing massage. Precise polish that is beautiful. Mindy is amazing and kind.

I stopped in today for the first time. I had acrylics removed and a regular manicure. $20 for both which is a good price to me. But the best part was the complimentary massage. It was amazing and it was about 10-15 min. I was so long I thought I would be charged. But nope. The massage is one of the things I look forward to while getting my nails done. I was having my car detailed next door and figured I would give this place a try. Unfortunately,this was the very worst experience I've ever had. I asked for a spa manicure with gel. Told me it would be $50, which I would have paid- if the service was actually done. After having some sort of clay rubbed on my arms and wrapped in Saran Wrap with a warm towel, I realized that this would not be a very spalike experience. I switched to regular polish just to get done and out of there, which after 2 1/2 hours later did not dry (after 30+ min under dryer!!) properly twice- 1st excuse was the "spa manicure" I had asked for (must have been the oils) and the 2nd was the polish (try another?!). I finally had to ask to have it removed and left without polish completely. Very disappointing. read more

Absolutely love this place! I first discovered it when I moved to CT about 2 years ago and lived down the block. Yume and team are fantastic and always greeting customers with a smile. I have since move out of Milford and purposely drive there because they are so good. They have a HUGE assortments of colors for regular manicures. I personally love their shellac (gel) manicures and they have a plethora of colors to choose from as well. They are so gentle with your hands and pay a great deal of attention to detail. I'm pretty rough with my hands as I type a lot for my job as well as with cooking/cleaning and their shellac manicures last at least 3 weeks before i see any chips at all in the polish. read more

My mom and I came here for a manicure and pedicure. They did a great job, it was relaxing comfortable clean environment, I watched the nail technician clean the footbath out with bleach after it was used. The prices were also more than reasonable with my pedicure and my moms manicure coming out to $30 total. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for a few years now and I think the service has been on a decline. I am not sure if there is new ownership, but one incident in particular happened this past weekend. I feel like I was being rushed through and there was no one else waiting. I always get a gel manicure and upon leaving I noticed a few nails were uneven and bubbling. I went back the next day to get one fixed and now three days later, two more are doing the same thing. Such a shame that this place isn't at the same service it used to be because it was my go-to place. Hopefully they can turn it around! read more

Wanted to charge me 5.00 to put a small amount of glitter on tips of nails,,,mgr femake called it a,french manicure NOT CONSIDERED A FRENCH MANICURE ANYWHERE ELSE PUTTING TINY BIT OF GLITTER ON TIPS ..MY 2nd AND LAST visit !!!!!!!!! but prior visit GIRL put glitter on all nails over color no extra charge !! Whst us sad...when i was disapointed they were sooooo rude..started talking in their foreign language they are from queens and obviously not trying to keep customers. I love this place! I'd been here just once before my visit this weekend (for some pre-wedding pampering) but my mom and my sisters (as well as my aunts, cousins and grandmother) go all the time and never have anything but high praise for the ladies here. The mani-pedis are quick, professional and above all, relaxing, and it was so nice getting a complimentary (but well-tipped) shoulder and back massage while my nails were drying. I got a basic mani (with paraffin) while my mom and sisters got the UV gel nails, and we all looked fantastic at my sister's wedding. I just moved back to the area and can't wait to become another family regular. read more

I love this place - it's Milford's best kept secret for a $30 mani & pedi AND they massage your back and neck at the end! They spend a lot of time massaging your hands and feet during the mani pedi but then at the end they spend another fifteen mins massaging your back and neck while your sitting at the nail dryer - its heavenly! These ladies have magic hands and you will leave relaxed and with a great mani-pedi for a wonderful price. A great economical alternative to a day at the spa! They also have wonderful massage chairs at the pedi stations. read more
