Best manicure/pedicure ever! I was tended to by Amy and she was amazing. I was so nervous being in town for work and not having any knowledge of local nail salons but I was desperate and I tried it. Amy must have massaged my feet for almost a half an hour, she massaged my hands and my back - it was divine. She took her time with doing my cuticles and shaping them how I prefer... it was just everything I could have asked for and more. Thank you!

Terrible. Clipped a piece of my ring finger off when cutting back cuticles so that I was bleeding, gel all over fingers and didn't clean it up after, wax on sleeve while she was dipping my hand. Avoid

My daughter and I visited this salon for the first time yesterday as walk-ins. We were treated very kindly and assigned to chairs immediately. We had bad gel applications from another salon and they removed and reapplied that polish as we requested. The whole experience was wonderful. The paraffin wax was wonderful and they reshaped our nails to perfection. Paige was so gentle removing the gel I was starting to fall asleep. Both my daughter and I left very happy customers. We will be back.

I love this place. Staff are always super nice and they do a great job. Have been coming to them for years. They also do half off waxing on Tuesday which is awesome. Would say there prices are a bit higher than other salons though.

    dip manicure

Very very disappointed. Overall the salon was clean and the employees were very nice. I even tipped well considering I had a pleasant visit. I got a dip manicure and expected it to last at least 2 1/2 weeks at most.. (seeing as I have gotten dip before and this is how long it usually lasts) but it is now a week later and half of one hand is completely gone.. it sucks because it was $42!

Very clean nail salon and the attention to detail is incredible. I will definitely be going back.

This is the best nail salon! They give you so much more than other places! -hot stone messages, paraffin etc. The owner is also very nice!

Best nail salon in the area. I didn't have an appointment and they took my right away. Rudy was incredible. Definitely going to back soon!

When it came time for its removal, I made an appt. with Becky Nails, after reading its reviews on Yelp. Shop is run by Becky & Max. Because she was alone that day, there was a bit of a wait. Becky was friendly and did the removal quickly and efficiently. Because my nails were ruined by a steady diet of gel manicures and are just getting healthy again, I only get them done periodically. I will make my next appt. with this salon and hope to develop a long-lasting relationship with them. Only given 4 stars because I haven't had a full manicure as yet. Location is across from Milford Police Station and there is adequate parking.

I'd pass and go somewhere more modern, clean, and efficient. Felt like I was in a time warp. Was…read morerushed out of there due to one person working and overbooking, and was essentially shoved out post sloppy pedicure. I walked in for a mani / pedi at 10:30 on a Wednesday (non-holiday). There was 1 other person having her pedicure by a man, so a kind woman named Christina offered to do my mani. I assumed she was on shift. After a very rushed dry mani, she had me rub my own lotion on my arms and hands and told me she recently had painful hand surgery and was only able to use one hand...for a manicure. My hands were already covered in filed dust or else I would've left. Cut to the pedi and she proceeded to dip my foot in their basin, and then quickly pull it out and get it ready to paint. When I asked if she was going to use the pumice afterwards, or even lotion, she became agitated and told me I should've asked for "more service" if I needed it. She and the man proceeded to talk about me in their mother tongue. He finally decided to come grate my now dry foot and aggressively peeled away perfectly healthy skin while telling his now-waiting clientele to wait. Immediately after painting my final pinky, he grabbed my things and shuffled me to their dryer. All other clientele were either wlderly or look like the Antonia crowd (iykyk). I guess the time warp part tracks.

My go to nail salon is Posh in Westport. My schedule did not permit me to get a mani / pedi there…read moreso I chose Royal near Trader Joe's as I needed a couple things from there anyway. Well, I left so incredibly happy with them having organic polish as an upcharge along with another higher end brand, just like Posh offers. Royal also gives neck massage too - Maria was fantastic and I added on an extra 10 minutes. For the mani / pedi itself, Annie did an amazing job. It was much less crowded than Posh, which made it very very enjoyable. I had a great visit!

I was excited to try this local salon, but the customer service completely changed my mind…read more I walked in with questions about the different pedicure and spa services offered since they weren't clearly listed. Instead of explaining the options, the male receptionist repeatedly steered the conversation toward what seemed to be the cheapest pedicure, even though I was specifically asking about the spa services. It felt like he had already made assumptions about what I could afford instead of listening to what I was actually asking. I also asked whether the salon was cash only because the sign at the front was confusing. His response--"Yeah, for tips"--was delivered with a rude, dismissive attitude. I never even made it to a chair. I walked in, asked a few simple questions, and walked right back out because I felt unwelcome and judged. For the record, I had both cash and a credit card on me. The issue was never how I planned to pay--it was the assumptions that were made before I had even become a customer. Customer service should make people feel welcome, not profiled. I came in intending to support a local business, but I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere.
