The lady who did my nail began by filing my nail with the electric file and filed too fast and too deep and my nail got hot and burned so I had to pull my hand away. I yelled "ow" and she simply laughed instead of apologizing. She did my dip manicure in a rush and did not cover my full nail with dip. All of my nails are missing dip on the sides. Extremely lazy, unprofessional and unsanitary. She did not even shape the nail after finishing the dip and left me with rough edges on my nail and chunky nails. I've never had such a bad experience at a nail salon. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've been here twice and both times were an average experience. The staff is kind. I only had to wait a couple minutes for someone to finish with the client and after that the nails didnt take too long. I had my acrylic nails for a full month with no cracking or breaking, none of them even lifted at the edges! I went in today to get the nails soaked off and get gel on just my nails since they have grown a bit. Instead of soaking my nails the lady just began to pry them off! It really hurt and chilled multiple nails. I could have just done that at home. The nails came out nice so I didn't really care since they'll grow longer again. First time getting my nails done here. Workers are so rude, extremely unprofessional. I was going for a pink powder acrylic and the service was horrible. She did not do a finishing clear polish which can lead to fungus infection. The instruments were not sterilized properly, I did not allowed her to use it on me but they were basically just dipping them in blue water with cotton and that same solution was used for every customer and after placed in a random bag that you can tell has been used many many times before. The owners didn't want to give us a refund and they put there hands all in my face and my 3 sister faces and just so everyone knows my Sisters sisters are minors. they try to push us out of the Salon and they only wanted to give us $15 when we paid $75 for the Nails . in reality the nails weren't even completely done when we had asked for the refund back all they did was put the acrylic on. Ever since Johnny left this place has been just so horrible. There has not been a time when I've gotten my nails down (FULLSET) and they haven't broke, crack, etc. I went there Saturday so please help me understand why on Sunday my nail polish was already peeling off and I had a cracked nail. DO NOT GO. THIS PLACE IS TRASH. So my boyfriend and I went and everything seemed to be fine. I got a refill, 2 nails fixed, coffin shaped. I've been getting my nails done for 7 years and my mom does nails and has hers done constantly. I'm very picky with nails salons and recently stopped going to my old one because it was dirty. I decided to give this nail salon a try. When I walked in I was greeted right away by one of the workers who made me feel right at home. My nail technician was Anna. I have to admit I am very VERY picky about my nails but she was very patient, friendly and good at doing nails. I would definitely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a nail technician. I would give them 5 stars but the one problem that I had was that they are pricy. My refill with design and pedicure came to 70 bucks and by the time I tipped I was at $80. I have money don't get me wrong but I budget it, and like to spend as less as I can. The average nail salon charges $40- $45 dollars for a service such as that which means I spent double what I should have. I'm really hoping that management will figure out different specials and maybe lower prices alittle. I am a business major so just imagine lowering your prices, you already have amazing nail technicians, best way to get more clients, beat out the other competition in the mall and you make more money. Maybe have a special Monday through Wednesday free design with any full set. Thursday from 10-6 $25 full refill gel set Friday Mani-pedi special $30 dollars, full set with pedi $40, refill with pedi $35 thing like that. Overall this salon is extremely clean, I watch the technician scrub the crap out the pedicure tub making sure it was sanitized properly,staff will interact with you and have conversation with you and they all have grrat energy. I have come here on many occasions; once or twice for a manicure and every few months to get my eyebrows done. The salon staff is always friendly and welcoming (and I've interacted with at least five different people on different occasions.) The space is always clean. Today (a Saturday), I decided to step it up a notch and get a pedicure. (Something I usually do myself.) I came in at 10 am which is their listed open time online. I came in right at opening because I don't like waiting and I'm super self conscious about my feet. (Weird, I know.) The salon already had customers but I was seated right away and within seconds had a man preparing to do my feet. He didn't speak English but he was very kind. The only reason I'm giving one star, is because I can't give zero. This is hands down the absolute WORST salon I've ever been to. My aunt is a regular of the owner, Johnny, and her acrylic nails always look great. Went the day before Mother's Day for a simple gel manicure. I should've run out the door the second the "tech" (undeserving of such a title) picked up the electric file to use on my natural nails. Every other salon that I've ever been to has soaked off the polish by putting acetone on a cotton ball, placing it on the nail and wrapping just the fingertip in aluminum foil, and the polish always comes off with no issue. She had me soak my entire hands in a bowl of acetone and then hot water to remove the gel polish that was already on my nails, which I had to do several times because it wasn't coming off. After burning me several times with the electric file, she asked if I wanted my nails cut and I asked her to just trim them down a little... she cut them all off. Then came the paint job. Besides the ridiculous way she did it by painting one finger on one hand at a time and putting it under the UV light, she painted over my skin and cuticles, and didn't clean it up even after asking her to do so several times. Was charged $40 for a gel manicure and nail painting for my 7 year old daughter. Every other salon with better practices has only charged me about $25-26 for the exact same services. Within 4 days of getting my nails done, 7 of the 10 had began to peel off. My aunt text the owner and he told me to come back the following Saturday and HE would fix it. I get there the day of the new appointment to find that he had double booked himself and sent me to another guy to do them. He didn't even bother soaking the polish off, and instead used the electric tool to sand off the polish, burning and cutting me several times. He finishes, and begins to write up a sale ticket, at which point I had to notify him that I wasn't paying because they messed up so bad the week prior -- something that the owner should have explained to him before I sat down, and saved me the embarrassment. And here we are 4 days after again, and the gel is already starting to crack. Not to mention how weak and flimsy my nails are from being sanded down to nothing. I have been going to this nail place for the past year and have had a few bad nail sets here and there until I found one technician that I really liked. I scheduled an appointment with her for a french set, but showed her a picture because I wanted to make sure it was done a certain way with my nail shape. She drew one line on my nail, but did not fill it in all the way and then once she filled it in, half of my nail was white instead of just the top so I asked her to make it smaller. She proceeded to tell me that "I was lucky she gave me an appointment today and that I don't think she knows how to do her job based on my body language." She told me that she was mad at me and was speaking in a disrespectful tone. I have never been spoken to by someone who I was paying to get a service done. I felt so uncomfortable. This is the absolute worst salon I have ever been to. It was extremely unsanitary, the nail tech kept losing her tools and just started grabbing someone else's. I had to ask her to use a nail clipper because she was using a cuticle nipper to cut my nails and nicked me several times to the point of blood. Once she did have the nail clipper she was actually pretending to cut my nails. My toenails were butchered to say the least...extremely short with lopsided nails. The tech next to her had to walk her through step by step. I asked for a new tech toward the end if my pedi and she did what she could to salvage my nails. During my manicure I asked to have my nails cut and she vigorously filed down about a half inch of nail which is horrible for the nail. None of the tips of my nails were painted and the massage lasted about 3 seconds..literally. They do not carry quick dry top coat and you are not able to tip on a debit card....I would never in a million years consider coming back here again. read more
