Today I stopped in to grab a thin crust cheese & sausage. Took only 15 min to make so I surprised the family with an unexpected Olympic day dinner and man oh man! This was the best example of thin crust straight from the oven. Perfect browned cheese, perfect cut slices. The chef in the kitchen nailed it. We also had a couple of beef sandwiches. I know that everyone talks about Portill*$, and I agree they are wonderful, but this Rosatti's beef is by far as good and probably even better. Rosatti's does not skimp on the beef inside the bun like the P place does. Be sure and order that sandwich 'dipped' for the real experience. Superb! read more

I ordered cheese bread sticks. Gentleman was very young and twirling his hair the entire time he took my order. He kept asking how I was paying to which I said cash. To which he said how much in cash. Order was hot but cheese was very chewy and inedible. read more

Ordered spaghetti with meatballs and ordered two extra meatballs for a charge and when I got home the extras were not there. Trying to call them and over ten minutes on hold. Always wondered when this place was going to go out of business and apparently that time is now. Store is closed pending new ownership. New owner would be wise to start over with a new Yelp. Was in a few months ago to grab a few slices which had clearly sat out for a bit. No offer from staff to make fresh slices or to upsell to a small pie. The re-heated slices were so disgusting I took one bite and threw them away on my walk back to my apartment. Dave Portnoy would not approve. read more

Went in on a Sunday afternoon, and to be blunt, they were having a bad day. The GrubHub guy was told it would be an additional 30 minutes. The kid who took my order wouldn't find the speciality pizzas on the terminal (you know, the thing 90% of the people order). 5 different people walked out. One lady paid through an app, came in to pick up, and the order had never been delivered through the app. The white pizza I ordered had Canadian bacon, instead of normal bacon. When I complained to the manager/ only person working the front at the time... he said he wasn't sure what the difference was. I told him that apparently the kitchen couldn't tell the difference either. The Caesar salad was basic iceberg lettuce, with a prepackaged cup of dressing... $12.00. Crazy! Other than the pizza having the wrong toppings, the crust was well cooked but no basic flavor. There was an overwhelming sense of burnt garlic through everything, and I think it was in the sauce. We also had the order of 6 garlic parmesan wings. There was no dry-rub option, and the wings were not crispy at all. They were completely drowned in the sauce, which again had a burnt garlic tinge to it. I really couldn't recommend based on the hour I spend in this restaurant. 2 Stars, because the crust was crispy. read more

I saw some reviews before we went to this restaurant so was a little leery about going. I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing. We had our 4 year old granddaughter with us. They had candy out for Halloween for all the kids that came in. She dug thru the bucket of candy and couldn't find what she wanted, the woman behind the counter went to the back room and found some candy she liked. We were very happy that she went out of her way to help us. We ordered pizza slices. They are huge. Very reasonably priced. We had 2 slices for $8 and they were huge. All 3 of us had plenty to eat from the 2 slices. There was lots of meats and cheese and it was well distributed on each slice. It was pretty greasy but I mopped it with napkins and it was great. read more

I was so ready to give this place 5-stars!!! I had definitely experienced the service issues mentioned in some other reviews, as far as seemingly, zero trained employees. I was blown away by a video they put up on Facebook with the Cheef sandwich being done the "Chicago Way" (fully dipped in au jus). It was dry and they didn't serve it with a side of au jus... They had just opened, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Came back again, kid was clueless, hadn't heard of Apple Pay before, no idea how to work the POS etc... The Cheef was INCREDIBLE that day, came out drenched like it was supposed to. So I had to come back. Girl working was perfect, she seemed to have full command of the POS, brought out my food in a timely fashion, etc. The cook didn't get the memo on the Chicago Way, apparently. Came out dry but at least with a side of au jus, so that's forgivable. I'm a new business owner, but I've trained several people in the service/food industry over the years. Hopefully the owners are reading this. Free advice... Never ask a new employee if they know how to do something. They (men especially), will almost always say, "yes." They figure they'll just "fake it till they make it." They don't want to be seen as incompetent. I tell new people the same exact thing: "Forgive me, but I'm going to talk to you like five-year-old child. You probably know a lot of this already, but I'm a stickler for details, so please be patient with me and hear me out." Please at least try that. read more

Went to the new store tonight for a steak sandwich to see if the CHI style is real. They are trying to get things working properly as any new store. They did talk to me and asked me how I was doing. Small store -ambiance is basic. Fries were very good but sandwich was just ok. Au jus was not thick or meaty tasting Enough. Asked for some ranch on the side. The ranch was great. They will figure it out. Not quite there yesterday but trying hard. Nice experience. read more

This isn't the same Rosati's from a few months ago! I ordered a Chicago Style sausage pizza and an Italian beef sandwich. The sausage on the pizza tasted old and microwaved, the crust tasted old and stale. I know that they premake the deep dish crusts, but this tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a few days before they cooked it. It had no buttery flavor at all. The beef on the sandwich was awful. It was definitely microwaved, as all of the edges on the meat were dried out and crusty. The meat had a peculiar taste, like it was in the fridge for a few days. This is a shame because I really enjoyed their food when they first opened, it was fresh, seasoned perfectly and had that Chicago taste...clearly something has changed. I hope the owners can get it right together soon and make whatever changes they need to get this place back on track. read more

1 star because the fries. As a born and raised Chicagoan I have had a lot of different styles of pizza & Italian food in general, including since I've been in Texas. The service is always "having an off day" & the food gives a bad name to the franchise. It doesn't even taste the same. Every deep dish is not crispy,lopsided,& sauce unevenly distributed. You want a true Rosatis experience hit the one in Flower Mound up. We love the pizza, but service is severely lacking. Just arrived to pick up a carry out order at the assigned time, and was told it would be an extra 20 minutes. Apparently the pizza fell apart when they tried to take it out of the oven, so it had to be remade. Fair enough, but please just call and let me know. We live five minutes away. We checked this out on Saturday as we were excited for this new location. I've ordered several pizzas from Lewisville for work and always great. This store has several kinks to workout. We ordered a deep dish that was given to the table next to us (mind you small setting with 4 tables). We overheard them saying wrong pizza but never thought it was our pizza they were giving them. We ordered before them coming in. We end up receiving their pizza & advised this isn't correct. The kid says you're Scott, well the other table was Scott as well. Regardless where's the common sense of you took both orders and applied the name to them. He blames someone else. We ended up swapping pizzas with this table to make right (I see the gentleman left review as well). Another common sense move would be to give us a pizza serving tool as it's a deep dish. We had to ask for one; staff was also busy eating their food right up front of house. Everyone needs a break but go to BOH to break. This was a disappointment and I hope they give a little more direction & teach how to resolve issues instead of acting clueless. read more

Worst dining experience in a long time. The young staff have no adult supervision. They messed up in every way possible. I can give lots of grace for being new, but there was no effort to fix the mistakes. We literally ended up switching pizzas with the table next to us - the staff did nothing to intervene. They always seem to have some excuse of why the most basic things get missed or don't work. Stopped in for lunch - got an Italian Beef (sort of like a French Dip) and my son got a slice of sausage pizza with a side of fries. Very good all around - the sandwich and pizza both had great flavor. It's a pretty small interior for dining in (only three tables), but a nice comfy atmosphere and they have pizza by the slices. I initially didn't want the fries, but they're actually garlic fries and were very good. The only two critiques I had were that the Au jus for the French Dip (sorry....Italian Beef) came in a plastic container that made it difficult (and messy) to dip, and the pizza dough was a little tough, but that seemed to be a factor of having it under the heat lamps since we got it by the slice.
