We continue to love Rosati's pizzas and wings. We usually get a thin crust and build our own. Ingredients are plentiful, and the cheese goes on top. Yum! Last night's pizza was no different, it was wonderful. Had leftovers for lunch today. We've tried other local chains, but keep coming back to Rosati's on Baseline. I ordered a pizza from this store and they did not have it ready on time that I needed and when I asked for a simple refund, the manager refused. Instead of doing an online order, I specifically called to speak to someone to ask if the wings would be extra crispy. She assured me that would be no problem. Got the wings. Pizza is always very good. I get the extra cheese and sausage pizza. The garlic cheese bread is not always the best as it's alway burnt . The delivery time is always more the. I used to be a regular here, got the X-Large meat mania pizza often. This last time I ordered delivery because their website said I couldn't do pickup orders and in exchange they won't charge a delivery fee. Well, I still got charged a fee (fine won't complain even though website says it's free) but then, the pizza arrived COLD ALMOST 2 HOURS LATER! I live 7 minutes away!! The dough didn't even taste the same at all it was so thick and tough to chew! They weren't answering their phones so I wondered if my order even went through. The one pizza cost $42! I DIDNT EVEN MENTION THEY CHARGED MY CARD TWICE!!! One charge has went through, the other is still pending. Rosati's on Union Hills, save your money and your time. On 12/10 we ordered mild hot wings, honey bbq wings and 2 pizzas. First there were no honey bbq wings, just wings with italian dressing dumped in them. Second, the wings wete undercooked. Third, the pizza was absolutely disgusting. We called the establishment and was given an apology and the guy asked for the ticket number to be reimbursed. Which we provided him. He stated it would take 3 days. Today is 12/16, no reimbursement. Called and they said can't do anything but in store credit I don't live in Phoenix so that does me zero good said they'd make new sandwich I could come get but defeats whole purpose of having delivered I'm 30 min round trip away so essentially they messed up my food order and didn't give me all of my order and all I got was a sorry about that. I LOVE my Pizza from My Rosati's at 24th St and E. Baseline Rds. I especially LOVE how Devonte prepares my pizza, because he truly is, The Pizza Whisperer. He knows precisely what he is doing. I asked him if he made my pizzas with Love. He replied with an "Always do." I believe him. John is a damn good business owner/operator. He knows what he is doing, better that you do. Trust and know that much. It takes one to know one. He knows precisely how to make them to my preferences. A little extra sauce, and a little more well done. Nice char on the bottom for a proper crunch, but flexible enough to bend and still hold up without losing your toppings which are applied generously. Nice thick layers of meat(s) and cheese, baked well enough to adhere to the crust, without it being sloppy and runny, and sliding off the dough and burning your lip and chin on the way down with molten gravy (which tastes SO from scratch homemade, with a complex combo of all kinds of seasonings blending perfectly together, without any particular one standing out, and overwhelming the others. Like a really nice, fine wine). Prices are WAY FAR MORE THAN fair for the amount of food you get, and I guarantee you, the portion sizes are so big, that an 18" will more than feed a family, with leftovers for their lunches, the next day. I acknowledge that, sometimes there might be a little wait? But you can't mess with perfection. It is worth it! You're going to get a proper pizza! Not some fabrication of one. Come On People?! Splurge a little once in awhile?! Don't be such a cheap skate. Life is too short to eat plastic pizzas. In Pizza? You get what you pay for...and you pay for what you get. This is the second time I've given this restaurant a try and I have to say again I was disappointed. First off I ordered a veggie pizza which I will say had a lot of toppings and a 2 liter Pepsi with delivery. Unfortunately the price for this was so insane I have to shake my head. Total price was 21 for the pizza 3 for the soda and 2 dollars tax and 2 more for delivery bringing it to 29 total. This is bloody insane for one pie and a drink I'm sorry. To make matters worse the pizza was unbelievably bland even with the extra cheese and red pepper they give and the crust tasted more like something you'd get from a build your own pizza kit from the grocery store. And we all know how bad and bland those are. Don't even get me started on the mushrooms either because those were easily recognizable as canned and who the hell doesn't want fresh mushrooms on their pizza. Cmon!!! Not happy at all with this and Im now convinced I will never be back to any location again. Called on phone . No answer. Wasnt too far away so i drove down. 4 minutes at the counter to be greeted. Phone ringing the whole time. Paid cash and they said No cash in the drawer. Ill just stand here til you figure it out. Then all of a sudden some cash appears. Phone rang for 9 min before Someone answered. A customer even offered to answer it for them. I have not been here in awhile and I thought I would order from here. I have never been so disappointed in a pizza. The crust seemed like it was a frozen pizza crust, along vwith the crust of the bread sticks. Both were very cardboard like, which is not what I had last time. The cheese breadsticks were on top of each other so when you pull them apart you get only cheese on half of it. Maybe it's an Arizona thing but not my New Jersey/Texan pallet. The pizza had plenty of toppings but Domino's has more flavor it was bland and the crust had all of the flavor of a motza cracker. I also tried what they call chicken fettuccine Alfredo the sauce seems sweet/sour but nothing like any Alfredo I've ever had and I'm 65 ( had quite a few ). And the noodles are heavy. I threw it out! Bright spots the delivery guy was nice and the Cannoli was good not fresh but good. Inclosing it was pretty expensive for such unpleasant food. read more
