Delicious Italian Beef sandwich with Motz.

Brett B.

As a native Chicagoan, Rosatis is music to my ears! Between the sandwiches (Italian beef or meatball), and the amazing Pizzas, it's hard to know what to eat. As the services is as good as the food! This lady must be one of the hardest restaurant workers I have seen. And although she can barely keep up with the workload, never stopping once between taking orders, delivering food, answering questions and taking payments, she does all this with a warm smile. I'm not sure how she keeps it up. My only disappointment with this location isn't with the food or the service, but rather the owner/managers decision to miscalculate the suggested tip amounts listed on every receipt. The universal standard for tipping is it should always be calculated Pre-tax (as you don't tip on government taxes). Yet this location, as with so many others (especially in SW Florida) are being sneaky and miscalculating the tip suggestion based on the after tax total. As a result, customers who already think they are tipping a generous 20% for example are actually tipping even more. I hope they correct this, and that's the only reason for dedicating one star.

I so wanted this Rosatis pizza to be the yummy gooey pizza I know from Illinois. Home of Rosatis. Back in Il it is my favorite pizza slice. Here the crust was ok. Liked the corn meal on the bottom. Didnt quite find its fluffiness to my liking. Not a lot of flavor in the crust, kinda bland. Back home the crust is so yummy. The hand pinched crust is oh so good. Same cheese. Very good cheese. Great cook on a reheated slice. I thought to much sauce even though it was not over powering. Lastly the slice was cut in half. What is that? So let me tell you about inside. Service a 10 out of 10. Great people. Kitchen staff seemed awesome. Sorry but a pizza is a complicated meal. All needs to be right on. They only had cheese left at 1 pm. They offered to throw pepperoni on but not a huge fan of pepperoni. Now New York Pepperoni. So good.

Pizza can be so subjective and hit and miss. I am familiar with Rosati's from Chicago and some of their other locations, so we decided to check them out in Naples. Rosati's is located in a busy strip shopping center and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu had all the "Chicago" type items I'd expect such as Italian Beef, pan pizza, etc. We opted for a thin pizza and were rewarded with a delicious, well prepared meal. Service was excellent. We also used Rosati's a couple more times for take out. Just as good.

The owners, Angelo and Margie, personally invited us into their restaurant, and I felt like I was in Italy, entering a family's home. Upon entering, we sampled the double dough pizza, and it was fabulous. The sausage is so fresh and authentically Italian. Then we ordered the Fab Four Thin Crust Pizza and it was the best pizza we have ever had.

After checking into our hotel in Naples, Florida and the drive down from wonderful Treasure Island this afternoon I was hunting some pizza and all the fixings. Missy and I found Rosati's pizza on Yelp and after seeing a picture of their deep dish pizza I hit the road for a pickup. I phoned in our order, while communicating over the phone with Rosati's staff I knew this pizza place was going to be good. Over the phone staff was clear, courteous, and double checked my order. We did not go with the deep dish, instead choosing the double dough, and I learned they also do a thin crust. So this is pretty much that one pizza shop that can do it all....oh and I ordered two cannolis; yes, it's fat kid Friday in Florida for me. As I arrived in the Rosati's parking lot I thought I was dehydrated and seeing double, as I was in the presence of two newer white colored Bentley Continental Coupes. I've ridden in a Rolls Royce before but never a Bentley. Amazing automobiles. This was just another omen that the pizza was going to be great. I walked into Rosati's and was greeted and advised our order was still being made. Staff was very friendly and working hard for the Friday night crowd. I could hear the chefs in the kitchen doing some hard work. Rosati's is an extremely clean restaurant and appeared very high end for a date night with my wife. I got the order and rolled back to the hotel to feast. The pizza was amazing, the red marinara sauce was robust and tasty, toppings fresh, and the crust was excellent. Best quality pizza I've had on our trip, which started in Charleston,SC. The best part to this Friday night feast was the cannoli to finish it. These green cannolis were some of the best I've had. I was extremely impressed with Rosati's. Great service, great food, great tradition.

I got one of their sandwiches and the mushrooms. The service was really good. It's a small little place. I got my order to go but it was very quiet which I like. I will definitely be going back. The food was amazing

I'm consider myself a Chicago Pizza expert living in the Chicago Suburbs for 30 years before moving to Naples last fall - my husband is a Chicago Southside native and has been eating Chicago Pizza even longer. Today is the first time we ordered it after discovering the Rosatis in Naples, which we had delivered to our hotel during our staycation. I must admit - I was SOOO looking forward to getting some real Chicago pizza & was very optimistic. We ordered the Chicago Deep Dish which is something we've been ordering and eating nearly every week for over three decades. When the pizza was delivered it was (1) undercooked in the center and soggy to the point that the box was soaked and compromised on the bottom(2) it was mostly chopped tomato's (3) very little cheese (3) 8 chunks of sausage on the entire pizza. When we took out the first piece it fell apart literally. Typically, in my experience there is an even distribution of ingredients and for the cost of the pizza we expected no different. I called and told the guy answering the phone, telling him about my issue & his answer was that's how they do it at this Rosati's, (it's a franchise store - not a corporate store) which is mostly tomato and light cheese and the toppings are light. Even after telling him my Chicago history with Rosati's - I was very taken back with his demeanor and was much pretty speechless. The side salads were fresh & the cheesy garlic bread had more cheese than our deep dish did- which was unfortunately soggy too. The pizza was hot though. Moving forward we will be ordering our deep dish mail order or waiting till we visit family in Chicago. If you're a Chicago native wanting a taste of home your best bet is to save your money. Go to The Crust in Naples which is right down the street or surprisingly Zookies in North Naples has a thin crust and 1/2 price on Tuesdays and all day Sunday. Unfortunately my Chicago Pizza foodies will be disappointed at the Rosati's in Naples. The $50 including tip was a major let down unfortunately so we won't be back. So disappointed in this experience & the pizza that I looked forward to with such optimism and this isn't the Rosati's I know and love. I can only pray for a Giordano's in the future. I gave it two stars because of the quick and friendly delivery to the door. The pizza unfortunately was a complete let down. read more

Loved it! Best deep dish this side of Rush Street. I was born in Chicago- so I know deep dish. It's not exactly like home- but closer to anything I have every had outside of the Loop. Great service. I work across the street and had got stuck in a lunch rut. Saw the yelp pics of their pizza and I had to try them. The server/to-go woman was very kind and is very helpful. I tried the Chicago pizza first and I loved it. I am a fan of sauce and it was very good. The next visit, my office ordered take out and we all thought it was great. I had a penne pasta dish and my coworkers had other pasta dishes. Portions are very generous. I can make a few meals from it. Would recommend. read more

Great place for Chicago deep dish pizza! Small place, nothing fancy but nice surroundings. It takes a while to cook the deep dish, but it's worth the wait! We ordered the small deep dish which was perfect for two people. The overall menu is pretty good and they offer beer and wine. We also had the Zeppole dessert which is deep fried pizza dough covered in icing sugar with Nutella for dipping. The Zeppole was excellent, huge portion! read more

Pizza is consistent with Chicago Rosatis. Service is NOT consistent with Chicago service. They close at 8PM. WE walked in at 7:22pm and were told several times they closed at 8. We were rushed to order and the waitress kept trying to take out food while we were eating. At 7:45 the put all empty chair upside down on the bar and tables and made it obvious they wanted everyone to leave. We ate pizza for lunch yesterday & it was very good. The 4 of us got the regular crust (thin)...and requested a little extra sauce, which they were happy to do. The toppings were plentiful & arrived hot. It looked (and tasted) GREAT! We ate pizza from "The Crust" a few days earlier (recommend by a local) but Rosati's is (by far) superior in every aspect. From the Business

Specialties

Rosati's Pizza is committed to providing customers with signature Chicago style pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches that offer high quality, value and flavor. We've stayed true to our roots, continuing to use fresh ingredients and authentic Italian family recipes. Everything we do is history in the making.

History

Established in 1964.

Rosati's Pizza is one of the oldest surviving family pizza restaurant businesses in the U.S. In 1927, Saverio Rosati opened a restaurant downtown Chicago that became a favorite watering hole for the old Chicago society and Windy City politicians. On any given night you might spot Jack Haley, the "Tin Man" in The Wizard of Oz, enjoying a hearty helping of homemade Italian specialties or notorious gangster, Al Capone and his entourage sharing a heaping dish of pasta with his so called "nemesis", Eliot Ness. In 1964 when Saverio retired, his sons Dick, Ron and Al opened the first Rosati's Pizza in the Illinois suburb of Mount Prospect. By 1978, ten Rosati family members owned carryout pizzerias. Now with the Rosati name firmly established in the Chicago suburbs, generations have grown up with the brand and continue to spread it to every corner of the country. Transplanted Chicagoans all over the map have helped bring their favorite pizzeria to 150+ locations across twenty states.

I did not eat in the restaurant but upon picking up said food, the vibe was pretty great. It felt classy old school beach vibe, tho not right on the beach. The owner / manager who took my order and gave me the pick-up order acted like we were old friends. So damn friendly. Food: Blackened grouper sando with fries and slaw. Wow. Fuhgeddaboudit. All were great. Even the slaw. Good seafood slaw?! What are the odds of that? It's usually a throw-away. Not here. Fish was perfect flaky and flavorful. The side of "tartar" sauce was even super tasty, though not needed as the fish was so moist and well cooked. Fries were of the battered variety, which I like. They were not too greasy and very tasty. If you have never had the Floridian delicacy of a blackened or fried grouper sando, you need to live more life...and try it here. Overall, highly recommend. Cheers!

I read it was a little tricky to find, because it sits in the middle of a little resort. It's a great walk over a little bridge that crosses over a pond. It resembles a seaside restaurant with lots of seating inside and outside. I sat at the bar and was enthusiastically greeted by the bartender. I asked for her recommendations and I went with the hogfish sandwich. Luckily, she told me I could get it grilled and blackened instead of fried. I could tell they knew how to cook fish because it came out perfectly. Most would probably think it was undercooked, but that's how fish should be cooked. I appreciated this attention to detail and thought it was delicious.

The Taiwanese sausage was surprisingly good. If you're familiar with Chinese pork sausage, it's very similar in both size and flavor, but a bit leaner and not overly fatty. It made for a nice snack while waiting for the rest of the order. I didn't get a chance to try the Chicken Tonkatsu Ramen myself, but judging by the empty bowl, it definitely hit the spot. The portion looked generous, and my husband finished every last bite. The Sakura Oolong Tea is definitely an acquired taste. It has a distinct floral, earthy flavor that may not appeal to everyone on the first sip, but it became more enjoyable the longer we drank it. If you enjoy trying unique tea drinks, it's worth giving it a chance. Our order took a little longer to prepare than expected, but that's understandable since the ramen is made to order rather than sitting under heat lamps. The wait was worthwhile for freshly prepared food. Service was courteous, and the food court had plenty of seating. Overall, Tsaocaa was a solid stop for a quick meal and drink while shopping, and I'd return to explore more of the menu.

It would've been better if their kiosk menu was a bit more idk consistent? Basically there's five different versions of every boba option spread out in every drink category. They all look basically the same? Some have the same photos, so I'm not sure if it's the same thing or if they input the same drink because they wanted you to find it on other groups. I've dealt with intense menus before but this was a LOT. Until I can understand the menu enough to know I actually ordered what I think I ordered this place is gonna sit in boba limbo. I reviewed this restaurant a year ago. I swung back by the comments to see if anything had changed in their reviews - maybe I'd eat here again. I don't think the people who run this place/the Rosati's owners care anymore. I look at bad review after bad review and they all say the same thing - bad service/not what they ordered. And the replies these comments get? Nothing short of an automated/soulless response. And NONE of the reviews change after the fact. It looks like yet another restaurant that won't change and doesn't care enough to care. Cancel Rosati's. Update: just looked at my review and got an instant AUTOMATED response from the resultant. They don't care about us, they DONT care about their customers. They want to make money and shaft us. Check the photo for review response time. It's just another crappy place to eat and more people who don't care. What's new. read more

We just stopped in to Rosati's Pizza and we were so glad we did! This pizza is AMAZING!!!! Seriously you guys, do your self a favor and come try this for yourself! The pizza is cooked to perfection! You really can't go wrong with your order. Everything on the menu is properly prepared and tastes great! We met the owners, Margie and Angelo, and they couldn't have been any kinder. They are honest, hardworking people and just about as friendly as they come. Margie, greeted us and waited on us. She was great! I'm very picky about getting my water refilled in restaurants and she did not disappoint. Angelo, came out of the kitchen to see how everything was going. We were thrilled to talk with him and tell him how wonderful his restaurant was. If you're looking for great food at a great price, this is the place to go! I will recommend this place to everyone I know! read more

This may be the oddest review ever, because I've never even stepped into the restaurant. My review is based on the personnel and one of the owners, Marjorie. Earlier this week our credit card got used to make fraudulent purchases from this location. I gave the location a call and not only did they help me with the time of use and information, they filed a police report locally. On June 16th the individual attempted to use our card again. And due to their actions he was placed into custody. They didn't have to take any action to assist us all the way back in Colorado, but they did. An owner an employee who would do that for someone who isn't even a customer, is certainly going to take care of their customers! Thank you! Jeff & Shelley read more

Delicious and fresh authentic Italian food. Should have taken a before picture of the chicken parmigiana on garlic bread. It was perfectly cooked. My friend had the "Cheef" sandwich and it was melt in your mouth perfection. The side salad was pretty big and really fresh. I also had crinkle cut fries that were so good. The Zepoli's served with Nutella was like little bites of heaven. The atmosphere was nice, cozy and the service was wonderful. They are super close to the Hilton Hotel where our seminar was. It was very easy to get to and from the Hotel. Restaurant was immaculate. They had indoor and outdoor seating and carry out. Would defiantly return! read more

I am originally from Chicago, and have been searching for a good "Chicago pizza" for years. Well, I FINALLY found it!!! Rosatis has a great menu, that offers pasta, pizza, salad, and much more. They also have a nice selection of beer, and wine. We ordered beer, wine, wings and their "combo" pizza! Their portions are generous, and the pizza had an abundant amount of toppings and cheese! (If we weren't so full, we would have ordered more!!) The service was friendly, and the wait staff was attentive. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. As we were leaving, we were reminded that they also offer pick- up and delivery. We will DEFINITELY be back. read more

We were visiting Naples and met people at our hotel who raved about the pizza at Rosati's. They were so enthusiastic about it that we went there for lunch the same day. The pizza was great. We had a thin crust sausage and pepperoni pizza. The owners are from Chicago, but the thin crust was the pizza that we prefer. It was crisp, and the sauce, cheese, and toppings were excellent. We liked the decor in the restaurant, and we chatted with the owners, who were very friendly and interested in making us love our experience at their restaurant. We highly recommend it. read more

Being on 'the other side' of Imperial Parkway and East Terry (by .25 mile) we aren't a lucky as some with delivery. Rosati's didn't turn down our delivery address (Yay), let me do everything online, even tracking the delivery and the best part was the pizza was HUGE, very reasonably priced and it was FABULOUS!
