My brother-in-law has been dying to get us to Peppi's, and we finally made it! Being from NY, we're total pizza connoisseurs, so our expectations were high. We were a party of eight and sat outside--absolutely gorgeous night for dining al fresco. There was only one waitress, but she was completely on point the entire time. We started with the mozzarella sticks and meatballs, both hot, fresh, and delicious. We were told we had to try the Cadillac pizza, and wow--definitely a must-try! I love a good white pizza, and this one was full of flavor. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza, a Margherita pizza, and the eggplant parm platter. The crust was nice and thin, and the sauces were super flavorful--honestly on par with NY pizza. If you're craving a taste of home, give Peppi's a try! read more

Wow. Just wow. I am speechless. The pizza from Peppis has to be the best I have ever had in my life, as well as the parmigiana dinners which are SOOO good. Had dinner here with my family and we ordered a traditional cheese pizza with bruschetta. It was delicious! And service was great. Sorry but I have high expectations for Italian, my meal brocilioe and pasta,, for 23$ was extra small portion. The pasta was not home made . My husband had a thin crust prize with salami's, artichokes and banana peppers,, it was extremely salty,, with little tomato sauce. It's a cafeteria style over priced restaurant. Eggplant was frozen out of a box not cut and cooked at the restaurant. Reheated in canola oil. Not olive oil. Awful. Even worse was the chicken parm dry rubber chewy. The service is fine, but the pizza I ordered (a medium pepperoni sausage and onion) was thin and very bland, with almost no sauce or cheese, and what was there had essentially no flavor. Staying in Naples for a few days and this spot is within walking distance. Took a Caesar salad and plan small pizza to go. This cute little mom and pop pizza shop is just great! We ordered take out on a Saturday evening and minutes before they closed the sweet Italian owner picked up the phone and took our last minute order even through they were literally 5 minutes away from closing. When we went to pick up the pizza, they were very nice and jokingly said with their cute Italian accent: "but why would you call us last minute like that? Why you no order before?" At one point she rudely said I was blowing her ear drum and she made one more non customer service oriented comment. It was the 4/5th sarcastic and diminishing comment while I was about to spend $80 on pizza and I decided to not eat here. Rude staff, welcome to the free market. Small space, slow, authentic staff and food but nothing special, especially for the price... too high. If you are allergic to wheat flour, stay away! I got an attack from only a few minutes sitting at the table. They make the pizza in the same small room and it was awful. Good thing was there is a Fresh Market almost next door so I bought food and sat there to eat while the gang finished off. However, even the gang would not return, bland noodles, not much taste of anything-accodring to them. They have a following, been there for years, but the following you can tell has lived for years, if you know what I mean. Got some pizzas here this past weekend and they were quite popular at my house. I got a large cheese, a large pepperoni, and a large sausage, mushroom, and artichoke. We also got an order of fried calamari... Why not. Anyway, the pizzas are good. Thin, floppy crust that tastes good. Nice sauce. A sufficient amount of cheese. Quality toppings. The calamari, for its part, was quite good as well. Not chewy. Fried well & no hint of fishiness. The only thing I didn't love was the crust was like extra thin. Almost to the point of being too thin. A little more crust would have given these pizzas a little more heft which I felt was missing. Other than that, a nice spot to grab a pie. Two days after Irma practically all of Naples was without power, Peppi's pulled through and opened for business starting w a pizza night and then served lasagna, meatball and chicken parm subs the day after. No power meant no a/c, lights or fans; despite all this, Mama and Papa Peppi, Grandma Peppi and even Peppi Jr. braved through the sweltering conditions to feed all the locals and disaster relief specialists. Come by and support family-owned Peppi's. Try their Cadillac Pizza- mushrooms, spinach, Ricotta cheese, and sausage. You'll leave with a happy belly. read more

Watched 30 plus pick-up orders come and go while all the tables waited. They were turning the pick up orders not the restaurant patrons. I ordered in late April 2022 for take-out, it was very difficult to speak to the lady on the phone because of the extremely high background noise from Peppi's. I ordered a Lasagna and asked if it had meat in it, she said she didn't know, she only takes phone orders. Shouldn't a person who takes phone orders have a menu by her side and/or know the answers to very basic questions such as mine? She put me on hold, went to check and returned to let me know it did have meat. I asked another question which I now can't remember, the same scenario played out, she had to go find out. When I got there for the pick-up, I noticed all ladies behind the counter were very advanced in age. I could accept the reply of not knowing had I encountered several uncaring teens behind the counter, but women of a certain age who hold a job should know all about what's in the menu. Ladies, get with it and learn! This came with salad and bread, both were OK. However, the lasagna was very greasy (it sat in a pool of greasy sauce) and very difficult to cut. I had planned on cutting this in half for two people, we're not big eaters. In the photo you can see the tip of a sharp knife I had to use to finally slice through the extremely hard top crust, any other type of knife could not cut through. The photo shows a portion of lasagna after it was transferred to a paper place, what was left in the aluminum container was greasy soupy sauce. The size of the portion I was given was also not large as I expected. The taste was just OK for a greasy ($15.95!!!) small portion of lasagna and, at 9 pm, I wasn't about to start searching for where to buy a replacement for this meal, we had to eat it. I will not be returning, I hope those ladies become better trained next time someone calls asking questions about the food they offer. I'd like to also mention that at the counter when I picked up not one of them could be classified as nice or welcoming, everyone appeared flustered. read more

Peppi's is great! As far as New York style pizza goes, this is the closest I've had outside of NY and CT. Really great.

There last night with 8 others and we all enjoyed the four large pies. One ordered Spaghetti and Sausage entree. Enjoyed it. Most ordered the house salads with the house dressing-VG!! Ordered: 2 Large plain pies Large pepperoni and cheese pie Large pepperoni, peppers, sausage and Onion pie 1-Spaghetti & Sausage entree The young waitress was very accommodating and fun to work with. No complaints here.....well, one. While there, the place was packed when we arrived at 6:00pm and can be noisy at times. By the time we left at 7:30pm, a few tables were empty. Part of the charm.
