We waited over 5 minutes for a waitress to give us a beer. And over 10 for lemons. Then another 10 minutes to place an order. We ended up leaving. Only had a round of beers. And we're there for over an hour. Too busy for 1 waitress. read more

Great dinners! You get good portions at a reasonable price. It's not the best Italian dinner but it's the best Ave Maria can bring. Pizza is unusual. It's not NY pizza it is unique to Maryland style. read more

There is no Greek food in Ave Maria. However, Ledo served a tasty gyro sandwich- between $8-$9 with tax. The pizza was very tasty. It's a very thin crust and the sauce has a slight sweet taste to it. I asked for extra sauce the first time trying it, and I was not disappointed. Also, the chicken wings with ranch were delicious. The Buffalo sauce was more like a medium hot taste. It was not overwhelming like most Buffalo wings. Highly recommend the wings. Try Ledo pizza - originated in Maryland! read more

Ordered a 14" pepperoni and Stromboli Huge disappointment, if you want pizza get a box from Publix read more

Ledo Pizza is a great addition to Ave Maria. They have great deals and great pizza. The staff is very nice and honest and it's all around a good time! It is clean and well maintained and everything has been delicious. read more

I'm going four stars. I haven't read a single other review. This is why I am going 4 stars. Place was clean, service was excellent, food was good. In yelp, it literally says Good. And it was. A staple for pizza in the Maryland area, this chain pizza place made me a really good Turkey Bacon ranch, the small was two meals and a snack or two. My guests had a pepperoni pizza and a chicken parm, both enjoyed them. It's a good replication of a well known chain. Set your expectations accordingly. Better than the best dominos. read more

Ledo Pizza - Turkey Bacon Ranch, quite good. - Pizza Near Me - Ave Maria, Florida

Great little spot with good food, cold beer and full bar. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Lots of tvs covering current sporting events.

There is certainly a necessity for a family friendly pizza place in Ave Maria. I would truly not go back to Ledo Pizza unless I had to. I'll admit I haven't had "Maryland style" pizza before, so that could be the issue. Our waitress, Fabia (I think), was lovely. She was attentive and got us what we needed quickly. She was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to share recommendations when we asked. There was a rowdy 3 year old sitting at the table behind us that impacted the ambiance. The concrete floors are loud- perhaps adding some bumpers to the bottoms of the chairs to reduce the noise would be beneficial. read more

This place only has its wings going for them. The pizza is not our choice of tea at all. Rename it and just serve wings

Went back for a second visit. And yep, It is good. This will be a regular stop. My wife was sold on the cauliflower crust. We will be getting another! read more

I honestly don't know how this place stays open. I ordered from Ledos Pizza thinking it would be a quick, decent meal, but it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. The crust was completely soggy and tasted nasty, like it wasn't even baked properly. The cheese had absolutely no flavor whatsoever and just slid right off the slice, along with every single topping before I could even take a bite. On top of that, the sauce was weirdly sweet in the worst way, like it didn't belong on pizza at all. The whole thing was a mess--literally falling apart and tasting awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Pizza was big. Cut to reasonable size for eating for any age of customer. We called in the order, it was ready on time, staff was friendly and efficient. read more

Super slow service . The staff is super friendly. The waitress super friendly. Clean restaurant. Lots of parking. Food is delicious. I gave it 1 start because of the loONNNG WAIT read more

I have spent close to 40 years in Maryland. I LOVE Ledo's pizza. I have eaten a lot of pizza from Ledo's. I drove close to an hour each way to get pizza in Ave Maria. I got it home and it was baked more than I am used to. I was disappointed. Will I go back? Definitely! But not as often as I would have if it had been perfect. I did enjoy the sauce on the cheesy garlic bread while driving home. read more

Ledo Pizza - Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Ave Maria, Florida

While visiting South Florida we decided to drive 2 hours to Ledo Pizza. In Maryland Ledo is a staple and loved as much as the blue crab. People have preferences. Some love New York style. Some love Chicago style etc. Ledo pizza is a unique style of pizza loved by many in the Maryland/Virginia/DC area. I was leary that Ledo pizza in South Florida would not be as good but it was spot on and was an awesome treat. It was busy for a Tuesday at 3:00. Glad to see they ate doing well. If you like bacon on pizza give it a try. They put so much on the pizzas. Love Ledo. read more

The people were great to talk to. The pizza reminded me of my days back in Maryland. Hot, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back again!! read more

Ave Maria just can't get their food choices right. I was excited about a pizza place coming to town but skeptical with the trend. Pizza is bland and tastes like a school cafeteria option. I didn't think a pizza was hard to make taste good but was proven wrong. Bring us something normal Ave Maria. read more

Place sucks, soggy, floppy, tasteless crappy pizza. You'd think they'd try to corner the market in a "college town" but they've failed miserably. Bar is boring and bartenders couldn't care less you're there. Won't be back and can't recommend. Domino's blows this place out of the water. Owner doesn't care, staff is on their phone the whole time. Menu is lacking and bland. STAY AWAY!! read more

What a fantastic extensive menu. We continue to work our way through all of the choices.

Just came back from picking up the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Bottom a box was soggy when I got there. Ordered well done. They told me the pick up orders were to the left here. The box was sitting on some shelf for like five minutes, and nobody told me my order was ready Unbelievable and I tipped for this new to Ave Maria will never go there again. read more

Pizza was great, crust flavorful and toppings generous. My husband's pasta dish was also great

Good pizza starts with the sauce. I don't understand how a business can survive with sweet sauce. Tomato sauce is supposed to be tangy, NOT SWEET! It was almost like pizza with sweet bbq sauce. No thank you. read more

Being from Maryland, I was very excited a ledo was opening. We decided to visit on the opening week. Our experience was good. Pizza was ready timely and tasted pretty authentic to what we're used to back home. Will likely take them some time to work out the kinks but all in all, very happy and will be back read more

Ledo Pizza - Pepperoni Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Ave Maria, Florida

A Taste of Maryland in South Florida! We were thrilled to find a Ledo Pizza in South Florida! As longtime fans from Maryland, where Ledo has been a staple for years, it's amazing to have a location near Naples that we can visit while on vacation. Ledo's pizza is truly unique--definitely not your traditional Italian-style pie, but that's what makes it special. The sauce has a signature sweetness, the cheese is a rich and smoky provolone, and the crust is more like a flaky, buttery pastry than a typical pizza dough. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that we always enjoy. If you're from Maryland, you already know how good it is. And if you've never had Ledo before, it's absolutely worth trying! read more

Being originally from Maryland, I have been eating Ledo pizza for most of my life. Now, a Floridian, I only get it on the occasional trip to Tampa or in other states when driving 95 up north, or when vacationing in Ocean City. We were thrilled new locations opened in Ormond Beach and Ave Maria, and since Ave Maria is in South Florida it's doable from the east coast. That being said the Ave Maria Ledo's is beautiful inside, clean, has a full bar, and serves the entire Ledo's menu. There are televisions for viewing sports and it is more like a gastro pub then a pizza joint. We got on 75 in Fort Lauderdale and before we knew it, we arrived at a beautiful oasis in the middle of the everglades. The pizza was spot on too, so delicious. If you are after New York pizza you might not like Ledo pizza which is a unique taste and nothing like New York style. From what I can see, any negative reviews about the pizza were because these people expected New York pizza, not because there was anything wrong. This is not New York pizza, and people who know it love it. Ledo pizza is square and thin with a flaky crust, sweet sauce, and smoked provolone cheese. The combination is irresistible. If you don't want pizza, they have great wings, calzone, salads, steak and cheese, you name it, but the pizza is the star of the show. Not only that, but the staff is also so friendly, nice, and efficient. Ave Maria is the nicest Ledo Pizza location I have ever been in, and I have been in many. I wish it was closer. I can't wait to go back. read more

Ledo's Pizza never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, the friendly atmosphere and cozy vibe make you feel right at home. Service is always prompt and courteous, and the food arrives hot and fresh every time. read more

This is a 2nd day of soft opening. All things considered I would give it a Positive review. Had the salads 1st day for lunch. They were good. Ordered a pizza later that day for dinner. They messed up the order even after I repeated Twice to the person taking the order. The pizza was under Cooked but it was ok 2nd day ordered a salad and chicken Parm sandwich both were good. Only negative and this is expected they have no idea where your order is when you get there they say when it comes up then it's ready. I know there are growing pains I give the food 5 Stars. Service 3 Stars but I hope that will improve. Good to see some options for Ave Maria. Tired of the lame food in town read more

Love this place, pizza amazing and i loveeee the wings literally marry me king. lololoolool but no everyone was no nice and kind this place is such a great add in the neighborhood I'm so grateful for this place. read more

It's convenient because it's out in Ave, but their pizza needs work. I tried a small cheese pizza. Let's just say Chuck E. Cheese pizza is better. Their buffalo wings are pretty good;however, I asked for them to be extra crispy and they weren't. They were very generous with their portion size for dipping sauce. read more

Sweet sauce no. The Spaghetti is watery And the Wings are dry. Had a Stromboli and it was soggy

Yucky. No flavor whatsoever. Sauce tastes sort of sugary and greasy. Everything tastes artificial and the opposite of homemade savory goodness. Caesar salad is prolly one of the worst I've ever had-vegetable oil on some lettuce with a few measly toppings. Wings are better but mediocre at best. Every time we ordered -the order was wrong. Ur way better off with Screamin Sicilian from Publix and some extra cash in your pocket. read more

As a fellow Maryland native I was so excited to hear about Ledo pizza within driving distance! We drove all the way from Fort Myers just to get our fix and it did not disappoint. The pizza+salad was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Really sad seeing all the negative reviews as this is not your traditional pizza joint. Yes the sauce is sweeter, but in my opinion the sauce is the best part! I even got my jar to go home with Thank you so much and we will definitely be back! read more

I know it's a soft opening, but the pizza was not good pizza. I've had better pizza at Chuck E Cheese. Save your money and eat in tonight.

Food is amazing great service highly recommended . Service is also awesome. Kind friendly atmosphere's

Started off good the first time I tried. Different tasting pizza and I appreciate a different option in ave. This time, it was pretty annoying. I'm not one to write negative reviews, but I ordered Buffalo wings w/ blue cheese and focaccia, received bbq wings with ranch and very stale focaccia. Drove back to the Ledos to get blue cheese, came back to my house and found a hair in the breading of the wings. Might get a beer here again but won't ever get food. read more

We have been there four times. The first was for pizza. Very good and would give it four stars. Second and third time for subs. Excellent and would give it five stars. Fourth time for boneless wings. We ordered two pounds ... one pound of hot honey and one pound of barbecue sauce. The one pound of hot honey wings were raw and cold in the center! They had to be thrown away. I went back the next day and told them about it and was told that they had other customers complain about the same thing. I asked if they checked temperature before they sent them out of the kitchen and they said they cook by time and this was a different brand than what they usually get. There was an apology but no offer of refund on the one pound that had to be thrown away. I will return but will only order subs or pizza. Beware if you order wings. read more

Having been born and raised in Maryland on Ledo's pizza I was excited to see them in Southwest Florida. My review is based on being brand new to the area and the employees are new to the product. The pizza was good but not completely up to Ledo's standards. We ordered multiple pizza with different toppings. The crust was a little thick and undercooked, needed more sauce and cheese. The bacon pizza was lacking and not applied after cooking (typically cooked crisp and added after baking pizza). Remember you motto, " are pizza are square and never cuts corner". The salad was great. Good luck as you grow and improve. Can't wait to try it again! Go Terps! read more

Pizza was strange, not a fan. Bartender was complaining the entire time we were there about one thing or another. Bar felt almost awkwardly placed, but the pizza is absolutely terrible. haven't tried anything else but i would rather light my money on fire than go here read more
