Amazing pizza!! Luigi's has a great dough cooked to perfection. Their pepperoni, meatball, and ricotta is the perfect combination finished with some garlic oil. Luigi's friendly greeting while he works the oven makes it clear why his shop has been in Naples for so long. read more

Another great Mom/Pop classic pizzeria! Great pizza and steak subs, friendly service and fun nostalgic atmosphere. We had ordered ahead for pick up, but when we saw the dining room, we decided to eat in. They had all the food prepared to go. As soon as they knew we were staying, they took all the food out of the to go boxes and re-plated them for eat in. We said they didn't have to do that, but they insisted. Great customer service! Highly recommended! read more

Steak Philly cheese sandwich was excellent. Good place to go that's been here in Naples forever. Doesn't disappoint.

Great food selection. Attentive service despite extremely busy. Local ownership. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This is a diner style family run restaurant. Pizza is delicious- great service as well. They have wonderful salads as well. It's a no frills place but very enjoyable. read more

We ate here after reading some good reviews online. Pizza was OK, but nothing special. I'm not a fan of thin, hard, crusty crust. We ordered their special and the hawaiian. The mushrooms on the pizza were canned, not fresh. and the crust was burnt on one. The garlic bread was a roll cut in half with a few pieces of cheese sprinkled on it but not melted. The lasagna came with meatballs. Weird. . read more

A great mom and pop college town type pizzeria right of the 60s. Hurry in and hurry back often. I know a crust is right when I can hear each bite! Yummy ingredients. read more

Best Philly cheese steak so far in Naples, but I am on a quest so I'll keep you informed!

The pizza could have been good if the crust wasn't burnt. We told the owner/waitress, but she really didn"t seem to care. I can't believe it was awarded best pizza in Naples. The lasagna was more like manicotti with 2 meat balls on the side. The worst lasagna I have ever eaten. Even the garlic bread was horrible, it was dry and cold, the cheese wasn't even melted and we were the only ones in this place.I will never go to this place again. Be Ware! read more

First time ordering here, recommend by neighbors. We did carry out. Pizza's were just sitting there, not in a warming oven and it was cold by the time we got home. I heated up my 3rd slice myself at home and it was much better warm. Good pizza. But please invest in a warming oven for carry out orders, especially since you don't deliver. read more

Pizzas solid. Dont order a chicken parm hero, the chicken looks like it's from a frozen bag from Costco. But I'd definitely be back for the pizza. Good service! read more

It may be the rated the best in Naples... but you couldn't prove it by me. They did not answer their phone so I could place an order (business must be great). I'll never really know if it's the best... ordered online from a runner-up. Good enough for this guy. read more

Fantastic pizza shop. Stumbled upon this as our storage u it was next door. Cheese steak was delicious with no chunky fat pieces. Pizza was on point, incredible undercarriage, sauce and cheese exactly how it should. This place has been around for 40+ years. Better than 99% of the pizza joints on the east coast of the state read more

first time there ordered spaghetti with meatballs...was given spaghetti with sausage. since I had waited 1/2 hour for it, I didn't send it back. 3 weeks later we tried eating there again.... waited 40 minutes for a pizza that came cold because it was left on the counter because the waitress was taking an order for a party of 8 that each wanted 1 slice of pizza. our order was left on the counter until my husband went up to find it or it would still be there....wont be coming back. read more

So let me just start off by saying, I have not been here in over 5 years! I decided to come here again, because the first time I came here, I didn't write a review. So here I go! I came here during lunch time, because my daughter wanted pizza, so pizza it was. Came here because it about 5 mins away from me. I ordered the medium cheese pizza with half sausage. Omg! The sausage was AMAZING! I never tasted sausage the way this sausage is. And the crust in general was super yummy and crispy to perfection! I was not disappointed at all and will come here again MOST DEFINITELY! read more

I heard about Luigi's a while back and wanted to give it a try. Very good pizza and fast service!

So I've been going to Luigi's for about 4-5 years now. I have to admit I love the fancy wood oven pizza joints, and the popular flat breads at many new places... but there is something about Luigis that I simply love! It is my comfort food place, my guilty pleasure, my happy place when I just want a simple couple of no bullshit slices of pizza. Nothing fancy or overly elegant. Just simple pizza, with a nice sweet tangy sauce, and lots of it, and a perfect crispy crust that is both thin yet crunchy, but all dough without that buttery flakiness you find in Chicago style pies, all too prevalent in SWFL. Sorry Chicago I'm an East Coast guy. So yeah I owe a big shout out to my absolute favorite local pizza joint! Those ovens have decades of love coating them. I hope to make my monthly rounds by Luigi's for years to come! Hell I'll buy the business just to make sure it never closes! read more

This was absolutely the worst pizza we have ever eaten. Starting with service: I ordered a root beer while I waited for my order. It was only filled about half way after the foam settled. The waitress sat at the dingy booth checking her smartphone and never acknowledged my presence. Unreal. Totally unbelievable! When the order was ready, the guy behind the counter just raised his arm in the air to signal me. After getting a very insincere thank you from the cook, I walked out. The counter lady who took my order was busy working on her tax return. NOT KIDDING! I left. Looking forward to at least enjoying the pizza. Sadly, that part of the experience was worse than the service. The pizza (pepperoni and double cheese) was way undercooked. It was very doughy and floppy. The cheese was as chewy and tasteless as old bubble gum. There was a serious lack of pepperoni! Maybe 3 per slice. The pizza tasted like there was no seasoning in the sauce. Honestly, I thought I was eating the box. This was a total waste of $20. If they went to Walmart and bought their frozen pizzas and warmed them up, they would have an immensely better product. Don't waste your money. Can I give it minus stars???? read more

I order takeout all the time for lunch. Awesome people , Family/ Locally owned and operated. Great Food at reasonable price

Great pizza. Thinner, crunchy crust! They told us how long it would take, we arrived at the appointed time and our pizzas were ready. Don't forget to order an antipasto salad, so good. read more

Hands down delicious! Crust was firm but not burnt, cheese was authentic, and there was no grease dripping from the pizza! Finally a pizza in Naples that I can write home about! A little far for us ( we're in Lely) but worth the drive. I popped it into the warmer section of my oven and it was perfect! read more

The best white pizza I have ever had!!! Love this small, family owned restaurant - a must try!

Friends living on 951 recommended Luigi's, so I figured if they drive down 41 for a good 'za , then we can, too. Luigi's Pizza is better than any of the franchises. The Pizza Bianco was as good as its gets with garlic, ricotta and olive oil- the second slice tasted better than the first! Their round version of the Sicilian may not be for NYC purists( if that makes any sense) but way better than Jet's Pizza. Plenty of red sauce that is mild and fresh and just enough cheese- a saucy and fresh pie! By all accounts, this is a good ol' american pizza joint with fresh house made dough and where the owner probably made my pizzas! They were steady 2:30-3 pm in the afternoon so that tells you they have a following. I look forward to going back and trying the dinners the other reviews are crowing about. read more

My kind of place, unassuming hole in the wall. Pizza was okay, spaghetti was not good, just tasted like tomato sauce.

Went to Luigi's on a friend's recommendation, unfortunately we didn't have as good of an experience as our friends. I'm always up for a hole-in-a-wall Italian joint -- as long as the food is great. This is not that kinda joint. First, they don't have very many toppings to choose from (we wanted to build our own veggie pie). There was no broccoli, no spinach or artichokes available. Secondly, their pizza is just "okay" IMO. Not true NY style pizza but they give it a valiant effort (if NY style pizza is what they're shooting for). I ordered eggplant Parmesan. Sorry, we don't have eggplant, the waitress says. Apparently they never have eggplant because it's not even on their menu. What kind of Italian pizzeria doesn't have eggplant?! lol. So we opted to order chicken parm which was mediocre and was put on a roll. We wanted the dinner, however the dinner (served w/ pasta) is only available Tue-Sat. Our waitress never bothered to tell us that until it shows up at the table on a roll. Speaking of waitresses, I know what another reviewer meant about the waitresses sitting in a booth looking at their phones. We experienced the same thing. All in all Luigi's isn't the worst place for pizza/Italian food, but it's certainly not high on the list of great Italian restaurants/pizzerias. Gave them 2 stars. They've got work to do. read more

Certainly this is not the worse pizza I ever had, then again far from the best. It's hard to put my finger on it but it just lacked the (((wow))) factor considering it was average size and the $25.00 price. The truth be told a DiGiorno's Supreme doctored up with additional pepperoni, green pepper, black olives, drizzled with a little bit of olive oil baked served with parmesan cheese and hot pepper flakes tasted better and a hell of a lot cheaper. read more

Probably one of the better pizza places in Naples -- I'll admit I rarely eat pizza and as someone whom frequents Chicago -- I'm a tad picky :) Luigi's is one of the better places I've been to outside of Chicago and anytime I happen to be down in Naples I give them a call. They seem to be a smaller shop but service is up to par and I'll keep going as long as they're still there :) Location / area could be in a better spot but they're flawless otherwise. read more

Stopped in today for a slice of pizza and a drink. First time there, I was told I had to try it.. I wasn't disappointed. Pizza was excellent, service was excellent, atmosphere was excellent. Small town pizza place in the heart of the atrocity which is now Naples. Nice to know mom and pop places still exist and cater to the locals.. Thank you Kelly and Carlo. read more

Quant family owned pizzeria. Not much to look at but the pizza is great and the service is equally as great. Both times the pizza has come out quickly. Very good crust, but the sauce was lacking in flavor. It still measures up as very good I'm Naples. For NY pizza I prefer Moravela's over luigi's, but Luigi's over Mama Mia. We think the sauce at Napoli on the Bay is the best....but Luigi's crust wins. read more

The location is convenient, but parking is limited. Seating is also limited. The place is homey and comfortable. The service was slow, but it was during the lunch hour rush.
