Rosati's Pizza - Lunch specials - Pizza Near Me - Encinitas, California

First time I ate here was dine in and everything was delicious. The wings were crispy as requested and there was plenty of garlic parmesan sauce. Lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, bread and zeppoles were delicious!! Second time I ordered take out which took longer than expected and this time my wing order didn't have enough honey BBQ sauce. But this is a very yummy spot and I'll be back! read more

Rosati's has been my favorite pizzeria since they opened here in Encinitas. Last night we ordered our usual medium, thin crust. It was badly undercooked, with the crust being soggy and doughy. The cardboard underneath was saturated with grease. It was inedible. We called to report this and get some kind of resolution--take it off the bill, send us a new pizza and ,hey, an apology wouldn't hurt. When my husband called and made his complaint, they just put him on hold and never came back. He called again and asked for a manager. The man who answered said he was the manager. After my husband again explained our complaint, he said, "What am I supposed to do? My husband said take it off our bill. The man said we would have to txt him a picture of the pizza! As if we needed to prove our complaint as valid. His unwillingness to provide any customer service has cost them this family's patronage. Is this how they train their "managers". read more

Love this place. A real sports and neighborhood atmosphere. Some of the people have been there for years!Pizza's are great BUT so are a lot of the regular dished they serve. Busy on Fri/Sat but sitting at the bar is great. Full service food at the bar. I also like that you can get pizza by the slice during the day. AND if ya ask real nice if they have any left, you can sneak one at night. Patio is great and dog friendly. Great area for a youth team to have a party. Have gotten to know Marcy & Mike and everyone always works on service Tom C read more

Easily one of the best pizzas in San Diego. Not yet crowded. Good amount of tv for sports. Solid selection of SD craft beers. The 'Cheef' sandwich is dangerously crack-like if you love french dip style sandwiches. Very friendly family-oriented place. But lots of places have great food but most have mediocre to terrible service. Great service from both Lindsey and Kelli. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE . My friend and I were pet sitting for someone in the area and we were craving a pizza. l'm a Chicago girl living in California so imagine my excitement when I saw there was a Roasati's! I couldn't wait to show my friend how Chicago does pizza. We placed out order and we're told it would take 45 minutes to 1 hour. We NEVER got our pizza! We didn't wanna bug them because we know how busy they must have been given it was a Friday night, but after two hours, we tried to call and just get an ETA, and no one would answer the phone! We drove down there and no one was there! I called to get a refund for the pizza and all the could offer me is a $40 credit. Now, neither of us live in the area so we pretty much got robbed because we won't be able to use this credit. They wouldn't even offer an explanation to why the pizza was not delivered. What an absolute shame. read more

Today I ordered the Chicago hot dog (with everything on it but sport peppers) and a large thin crust pizza with sausage, sauteed spinach and mushrooms. Delicious! Their take-out system works well during our stay-at-home requirements, but they've always provided fine service. I'm a Chicago "transplant" & Rosati's consistently provides a delicious, authentic taste of Chicago. Five stars. read more

We were visiting from Utah and, after searching the area for Chicago Deep-dish Pizza, Yelp directed us here. I haven't had this type of pizza very many times, but wow, I can't imagine it being any better than this. I am not normally a fan of tomato chunks, but the way they did them as a default on the deep-dish was great, especially since they were also lightly seasoned. Surprisingly, my wife (who normally adores tomatoes) said later that she would ask for less tomatoes because it made it rather wet and I agreed with her. I realize that with Chicago-style food, wet is often the goal. We got sausage & mushroom on our pizza, but after tasting the meatball that came with my daughter's spaghetti dinner, we would totally get meatballs on the pizza in the future. On the subject of wet food items, I noticed they also have Italian beef sandwiches, so we will definitely need to return sometime to try those. As part of the free check-in promo, we got an order of dough nuggets as an appetizer and they were unique and delicious. It is a smart promo to give away of one of your yummiest items to get people in the door. Although I am not fond of the sports bar setup, this one was done fairly well and the TVs weren't too loud. Overall, it was a fun & delicious experience. read more

Ordered a pound of boneless wings and added on a few sauces. After a tip I spent $27 for 12 tiny chicken tenders. Horrible quality and literally like ordering from a fast food place but paying 4x the price! Won't be back. Shocked Covid didn't close this one- read more

If you want real deep dish pizza this is where it's at. Chicago style at its finest with really good sausage that's as good as I've had in town, and the butter crust is the closest thing around to that of Lou Malnati's, Gino's East, or Giordano's in Chi City. Delivery has been on time or better so far too. Seriously, get the Chicago style with sausage and green pepper and you'll be so happy... so happy... now I want some now! Ugghhhh supposed to be on diet but cheese... cheese. Cheese. read more

Growing up in the Chicagoland area, it's tough to find a good deep dish pizza in Southern California let alone a Chicago beef! We moved out here 5 years ago and have had to buy pizzas from Chicago and have them shipped! Rosati's back in Chicago is a local chain and I was SO excited to see one just down the street from our new home! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor makes you feel like you're right back in your favorite neighborhood pizza place. Can't wait to come back! read more

I am very dissappointed to have my first review removed by Yelp of this location so I will rewrite second review. Maybe because I mentioned Male Manager's name, who knows BUT it was the truth. I was very dissappointed of my experience from all the REVIEWS I had read. Service was slow, my flatware, (fork) was not cleaned properly. I have Lupus so clean flatware is very important to me. Lasagna was grainy, not my preference. Our lunch was rudely interrupted by male Manager yelling at a Employee for dirty windows. This brought our luncheon to a halt. I, my family OR our Lupus Groups will NOT be dining here ANYMORE HERE. NOW LET'S SEE IF THIS REVIEW IS ALSO REMOVED. If this Review is removed, I will Post to my 23.4 Followers on Twitter~ read more

This place is really great. This might sound ridiculous, but I have never gone in here because their sign out front that faces El Camino Real makes the place look unfinished. I would have never gone in had my neighbor (from Chicago) not told me how great their pizza is. My friend and I called in and ordered an 18" thin crust pizza and a chopped salad. We also checked in and got a free order of dough nuggets. Everything was great! The girl who took our order was very sweet, our order was correct and everything tastes awesome! The feel inside is also great. There's a nice little bar inside with quite a few types of beer on tap. We will definitely be going back and eating in next time! read more
