Pancakes with berries, Chantilly Cream, and pineapple infused butter.
Chris R.

First time at Rosa's Diner. What a cute little gem of a restaurant in downtown DC. The menu has familiar breakfast and lunch options but with Latin American twists. We sat at the counter because all tables were reserved so I'd recommend planning ahead. My partner had the pancakes with berries, chantilly cream, and pineapple infused butter. So light fluffy and delicious. I had the American breakfast with two over easy eggs, bacon, and hash browns. All really well prepared with good service and a fair price. Check out this great place if you're in downtown DC on your next trip.

First of all they marked us as a no show on Open Table when we definitely showed up and tried their food. We had the classic smash burger, a diet coke, a bbq chicken sandwich, and a tamarindo jarritos. I originally wanted the bolognese but they were out. The fries and tamarindo were the best parts of the meal... Note: the host originally thought I was "Chaz" for a 6:45 reservation, I corrected him, and he acknowledged/confirmed. The restaurant also had a problem with fruit flies while we were there...

Cosy spot on K street for after work and if you are in the area for an event as it often goes given the location. Glad we booked a table ahead of time, wait time was over one hour on book festival and grand prix Saturday. Our server Kami was delightful, made on point recommendations, checked on us every now and then without being overbearing. The restaurant is in the Moxy building. Restroom up the winding stairs is a tad inconvenient although we didn't ask if elevator was an option. Churros French Toast--5/5-as other reviewers have noted, not much churro-ey going in here but they taste and look good! The caramelization is a nice touch, different from gummy/thick diner style french toast. Garden Fiesta Bowl--4/5-could do with more carrot tahini sauce and seasoning. Lettuce and quinoa in itself can reinforce each other's blandness. Chicken Bowl--5/5 Diner Smash Burger Melt--5/5 Chickpea Salad Sandwich--4/5-more labneh and a thicker sourdough please.

Very happy about finding a food breakfast spot in this area! I got the avocado toast and 2 lattes and was very impressed. Avocado toast can go wrong in a lot of ways, and this one was good. It had chick peas on it which made it unique and the eggs were actually cooked to perfection. They have been open for 1 month so it wasn't too busy. Cool vibes inside with great service.

Adorable dinner right by K Street, great food, great service. Stiveen was so friendly and fun and we had a delightful meal - definitely recommend the breakfast empanadas with flaky delicate crust and the wet breakfast burrito. Fun vibe too - Mexican ska was playing when we came in, the decor has a classic 50s/60s vibe with modern retro fixtures. Every seat at the bar has a bag hook and a plug, so it's also a great spot for a working lunch or breakfast.

This is a great little spot for a diner, the ambience is top notch but there's a major gap between potential and execution, the food was okay, interesting and unique, i got the churro French toast which was a fun twist but was underwhelming taste wise. The service was fine, all the waitresses seemed to want to be anywhere else, and would disappear for 15-20 minutes, which working in food service will do that to you, so I can't blame them. I got a caramel latte and it was the strangest latte I've had in my entire life, being basically just milk and caramel, zero coffee taste at all, which for some people is a great thing, so take it how you will. My advice- skip any speciality coffees. Truly, this place has potential, and I think that with a stronger menu and higher quality ingredients

Cool new spot in a convenient location in downtown DC! It was easy to get a reservation for mid day on a Saturday, a group of 6-7, which I really appreciated. The food was so-so. I found that the salads were overdressed. The sandwich was okay. Service was kind of subpar. Everyone was friendly, but our server didn't seem to know the menu. We ordered fries that never came. That sort of thing. I think this place is worth checking out despite there being some room for improvement.

Visiting DC for a road trip and we arrived in the morning. So with limited cafes opened we found Rosa's diner. A cool Spanish breakfast spot with a bar. We got sat right away and the service was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and was glad to see they had gluten and vegan options. Overall I was glad we found this spot to start our day

Excellent food at a hotel restaurant. Exceptional and very friendly service by Stiveen (pronounced Esteven) made my visit memorable.

Eggs benefict with birria, croissant and coffee.

The food is amazingI had the eggs benedict they had birria in it. The decor its very beautiful, there is AC inside they also had seating outside. Now there is a lot to improve in terms of service, first my food took way to long to arrive about 45 minutes. Also I had no silver wear to eat or for my coffee. I only saw one of the workers doing most of the work and Staff that just walked by me and did not asked if I needed anything. I wish them to learn how to make this restaurant better as the food was very good!

I came in because I was excited about pupusa eggs Benedict. They say they have a vegetarian option without the birria, but just a heads up that it still contains lard, so not actually vegetarian. Honestly just kind of boring.

A proof of how much they charged me

Great food, incredible service, and such a cute intimate brunch spot!…read more I went to Tiffany's Bar and Bistro in DC for Sunday brunch with my family, and we had such a good experience. This is a cute American-Mediterranean spot with an intimate atmosphere, beautiful decor, and not too many tables, which made it perfect for a relaxed family brunch. It wasn't overly loud or crowded, and the service was incredible from start to finish. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. I started with an espresso martini, and this was a 10/10 honestly, a thousand out of 10 . It was strong, delicious, and one of my favorite espresso martinis I've had recently. For an appetizer, we got the Sampler of All, which lets you try several of their spreads. We tried the chickpea tahini, Hripiti with roasted red pepper, Greek feta and fresh thyme, Greek yogurt with Persian cucumber and dill, and beet labneh with walnuts. My favorite was definitely the Hripiti the roasted red pepper and feta combination was so good! The sampler was definitely different from what I expected, but I liked being able to try several of the spreads. For my entrée, I had the short ribs and eggs, which I believe was an off-menu option. It was DELICIOUS. I actually took some home, and it reheated really well the next morning for breakfast, which is always a win! My family also ordered the shrimp and grits, Wagyu burger, pistachio French toast, and Ciftlik Breakfast with scramble and rose & cardamom biscuits. Everything we tried was really good, and there was a nice variety of sweet and savory options for everyone. Another thing I loved was that brunch was pretty reasonably priced for DC. We spent less than $50 per person, including drinks, which I thought was a great value considering the quality of the food, cocktails, service, and overall experience. The service was probably one of my favorite parts of the experience. Our server was very attentive and paid attention to the little details without being overbearing. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure we were enjoying ourselves. And the decor is so cute! They have a little swing that we took pictures on, which was a fun touch and definitely added to the experience. Overall, Tiffany's was exactly the type of brunch spot I enjoy good food, strong cocktails, beautiful surroundings, great service, and an intimate atmosphere where you can actually sit, talk, and enjoy your meal. I'll definitely be back to try their dinner and happy hour. Definitely recommend checking out Tiffany's if you're looking for an American-Mediterranean spot in DC!

I feel so conflicted leaving this review, as I like to support local businesses and the service was…read moreabsolutely excellent, and the place was cute. The food, however, was unfortunately very mediocre. We came for brunch on a Sunday around 11 and the place seemed dead. Both my French toast & bacon were overcooked to almost burnt and didn't taste very good as a result; the French toast was also served without syrup, and when I asked for some, it caused some sort of commotion in the kitchen that we could hear. It sounded like the regular chef wasn't in yet or something & whoever was cooking kept telling the server there was no syrup until the server got fed up & got it himself. Just bizarre. I'm rounding up to 3 stars because I loved our server, a mature gentleman who was funny & did an excellent job, but the food missed the mark.
