We came here after a movie and it was not all that! First off it was like 9pm so basically empty on a Tuesday evening. And the staff was just not very friendly/nice. I don't see anything special about their hot honey slices ... or their pizza, or their garlic knots. I was left very disappointed but I think it all started with our interaction with their staff. Sadly I won't be returning ...

Pizza is always good. Help yourself to serveware and spices towards back of restaurant. Quick service makes this a good quick lunch

We were pleasantly surprised to find this cute pizzeria while running errands in between stores inside the shopping plaza. My son enjoyed his slice of pizza and the gelato imported from italy. The staff is kind and the service is efficient. We would totally stop in anytime we are inside this plaza running errands.

I'm honestly not sure how Rosa's Pizza stays in business. I couldn't wait to get home and write this review after such a horrible experience. I arrived at around 11:15 AM, shortly after they opened at 11:00 AM. I ordered two slices and went to use the bathroom. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting--there was no toilet paper in either dispenser. I actually had to go into the men's room just to find some. Considering this was first thing in the morning, it was extremely disappointing and made me question whether the bathrooms had been cleaned at all. Then came the pizza. I ordered an upside-down slice and a honey pepperoni slice. The upside-down slice had an unbelievably hard crust and was barely enjoyable to eat. The honey pepperoni slice was even worse--I ended up throwing it in the trash after just trying it. Unfortunately, this was an all-around terrible experience, from the condition of the bathroom to the quality of the food. I will absolutely never dine here again. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is the place for a great slice, especially if you like your pizza hot. I got a drunken grandma slice. The best! Loved the sauce and the crust was crispy. My daughter got a regular slice. It was huge! They were super busy, but they move fast checking you out. There is also plenty of seating. Lots of great slices to choose from so come hungry. I live in Middle Village and had a bad taste in my mouth after eating at the Rosa's here. The places are like day and night. I'll definitely be back.

Chicken parm was super dry--had to ask for a side of marinara. Too much bread so the carb to protein ratio was off. Just a local pizza place with quick and New York style service.

This pizzeria is an outpost of the famous Rosa's of Maspeth which is famous for its upside down Sicilian slices. This is located in the Bay Terrace shopping center, part of it being located in what was once Jack's Pizza which was a childhood favorite and was expanded for this pizzeria. The decor is nice and modern looking with booths and regular seating. And the service is was nice and reasonable. But I was not overly impressed with the pizza as a whole. As stated in some of my previous reviews, I have stated that I have gastritis. There were two types of white pies which didn't look too appealing to me and I was tempted to have a spinach pinwheel, but I decided to have two Caesar salad slices. On the whole, the slices themselves tasted fine and the grilled chicken was cooked and seasoned well. But the slice was wider than I'd like and the salad on the slice seemed like it was just put on. No offense, but I've had slices like this at other joints that had better umami and this lacked that and felt too heavy. This pizzeria does its job adequately for what it is, but there are better choices in the area and I've had better Caesar salad slices at other places. This is a local pizzeria that people in the neighborhood can enjoy, but it is not a destination pizzeria where you'd drive distances for.

If you want a cheesy, crisp, thin crust NY style slice this is your place! You'll hey fast, courteous service in a dining room with ample seating. The environment is calm and the rest rooms are clean. One of my new favorite spots! I also hit a chicken panini to go. Will let You know how it was.

Busy pizzeria at Bay Terrace shopping center. They have every type of pizza imaginable. I tried a regular and the Sicilian regular slice was a bit floppy little too much cheese but decent and that's Sicilian was good but the sauce was on the sweet side, they seem to be the only pizzeria in the area, especially the shopping center. They're doing well, but I think they could do better with the pizza

We came by a couple weeks ago and ordered a couple slices of the specialty pizzas and they were all so delicious! Usually when we buy pizza parlors, we order whole pies or split some individual slices or get a plain slice and call it a day. The Sicilian pepperoni slice caught my eye and I haven't had it in ages. For some reason coming here, I wanted to try it. They gave me a corner slice and I hope the next time I'm back, they have more available. The pizza slices might not look like a lot but I couldn't even finish my chicken and tomato slice after that. Hoping for more mouth watering options next time I'm back!

Had the Sicilian pizza. The sauce and crust were excellent. Cheese was delicious. So glad Rosa's opened in our neighborhood.

Waited 30 min for a regular cheese pizza. Pretty sure that is the longest I have ever waited for a regular pie in my life.

A hidden gem right in the middle of Douglaston; located conveniently down the block from the LIRR…read morestation! We were celebrating my, Jeannie T, and Rich W's birthdays! We debated where to go and on Jeannie's recommendation, we ended up at Picciotto! This turned out to be a fantastic choice! As an appetizer, we started off sharing a wood fired Prosciutto Pizza ($21) with shaved Parmesan cheese, mozzarella and Arugula. Outstanding!! This was my fave dish of the night! I usually like my pizza super thin and crispy. This pizza was neither super thin nor crispy at all ...and I LOVED it! The crust had a fantastic chew to it, and all the fresh ingredients just melded together perfectly. Recommended! I would return just for this pizza alone! Next, we shared 3 entrees and a dessert: -- Lasagna Bolognese ($20): there was a generous amount of meat in the bechamel beef ragu, and this was delicious! -- Eggplant Rollatini ($20): the eggplant was thinly sliced and stacked more than actually rolled but great nonetheless. Tasty dish! -- Veal al Limone ($22): this came with a side of roasted potatoes. The lemony buttery sauce went really well with the veal and potatoes! -- Mini Cannolis (4pcs/$8): You could tell by the first bite that these Cannolis were made fresh! The Cannoli cream was delicate and not overly sweet. The shell was fresh and crispy. Everything you'd want in a Cannoli! This was the perfect end to our birthday dinners! Customer service was warm and friendly. We lingered in the restaurant for quite a while, and were never pressured to leave. Parking can be challenging but parking is doable if you drive a few blocks. Bonus: live music on Saturdays!! Can't wait to return for that Prosciutto Pizza!!

Ordered the Shrimp Oregano w a side of Penne in garlic oil. OMG sooo good. Momma ordered the chicken Marsala. She was pleased. Hunny ordered chicken parm. Side Caesar salad. We were all pleased that the food wasn't overly salty as we're all watching our sodium. So right there that was a huge plus. Portions were very generous and were all having dinner the next 2 nights. (Yeah it all depends on how much you eat in a sitting and for us, this was just great). Food was fresh, focaccia bread was warmed. Two other employees came to speak to us just to make sure everything was as we expected. All we could say was everything was perfect. Oh and we had no room for dessert but took a cannoli 'to go'. What a sweet presentation. And talk about fresh cream and a crispy shell!!! The best cannoli I've ever eaten. Bravo guys. We'll be back

I was thinking of getting a personal size pizza this evening and I was craving Mushrooms, so I…read moreordered from the Parlor which is related to Gino's Pizza Parlor in Roslyn. The order came within 20 minutes of ordering. The pizzetta was well done and held up the toppings very well. Was it the best I've ever had, no, I've had better Truffle/Mushroom pies at places like Diamond Slice and L'Industrie. But let me emphasize that the pizza was not bad at all, I felt that those pizzerias did it a bit better and their ingredients felt more balanced. Most importantly, is this pizzeria a travel worthy place to travel long distances to get to; no. But it is well placed for this area of Queens and there are ton of options to order from on the menu that I would have liked more. If they had the clam pie and had it at this size, I'd prefer it more. And if my gastritis would go away please, their regular looks good like the location in Roslyn. To conclude, the Parlor is a good neighborhood pizzeria that has good credentials and good food and you won't go wrong with either ordering out or dining in.

My dad had been dying to try this spot ever since his friend told him how great it was, and it completely lived up to the hype! (I'll definitely make sure to remember that connection for our future chats!) From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like family, but the real magic happened when we ordered. The portions here are remarkably massive, and you can tell they don't skimp on quality. The chef even brought out a complimentary plate of their fresh, garlic-infused dough bites just to welcome us. As for the pizza--wow. The crust had the perfect balance of crispy exterior and light, airy interior, loaded with top-tier, fresh ingredients. Every single bite was pure perfection. It is incredibly rare to find a spot that serves world-class food while maintaining such a generous, community-first spirit. They genuinely care about making sure you leave full, happy, and taken care of. My dad's friend was 100% right--we will absolutely be regulars here. 10/10, highly recommend!

Manager Beatrice is truly a gem -- very attentive, super sweet, and made my family feel so welcome. The atmosphere was warm, family-oriented, and comfortable. The prix fixe menu was excellent from beginning to end. For appetizers, my mom had the burrata with heirloom tomatoes, and my sister and I had Nonna's meatballs, which were delicious. My sister had the rigatoni, my mom had the salmon, and I had the short rib of beef, which melted in my mouth like butter -- that's how tender the meat was. For dessert, I had the cannoli's while my mom and sister enjoyed the chocolate lava cake. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The bathrooms were also nice and clean, which is always a plus. My family and I will definitely be coming back again -- even if it's just to stop in for a lychee martini and the grilled octopus, one of my favorite meals. Highly recommend for a family dinner, date night, or casual night out

We were each provided with an iPad to access the menu and were given a basket of freshly baked bread with an oil spread to start. We ordered the prosciutto and buratta pizza, the spaghetti with clams, the veal ossobucco, and the spicy brussel sprouts. I really enjoyed the free bread, which was warm and crispy on the outside. The oil spread was spiced very well and reminded me of pesto sauce. The prosciutto and buratta pizza came out first and was topped with tons of arugula. The pizza was light and crispy. Each slice was balanced and very enjoyable. I loved the oil from the free bread that we asked for more to drizzle onto the pizza. The entrees came out next along with our side of spicy brussel sprouts. I was quite disappointed with them since I expected the brussel sprouts to be roasted and crispy, but they were quite soggy and certainly not spicy at all. The spaghetti with clams had a nice presentation. The dish was briney from the clams and had very clean and simple flavors. The veal ossobucco was pretty big and was served with polenta and mushrooms. I enjoyed the flavors but the dish was too heavy for my taste. The veal was tender and had the perfect amount of fatty bits. Overall I enjoyed the pizza and the free bread the most from this meal. I hope to visit again to try another pizza.
