Quaint little diner in Parker, CO. Visited 11/9/2019. Excellent service provided by our server, Logan. This is a made from scratch restaurant, not fast food so sit back and enjoy. May we suggest saving room for dessert? Loved the blueberry pie. They serve alcohol which made some in our group very happy. Portion size isn't huge but worth what is served. 2 meatloaf suppers ordered. And the pie; several varieties. As for gluten free and vegan, we didn't pay attention. We'll be back. read more

Found a hidden gem in Parker. And I do mean hidden. With leaves on the trees the sign for this place is tough to spot unless you're right in front of the place. But it's well worth the search. We found a coupon in a local magazine so we decided to give it a shot. I am a freak for prime rib and that's the special on the weekend. About the food..I have eaten prime rib in numerous restaurants ranging from chains to hoity toity steak houses. Some chefs are more successful than others. I always order medium rare. Sometimes it comes out more like medium well, sometimes it's still mooing. This one was perfect and a very generous portion for ......wait for it....... $12! I have paid 4 times as much for prime rib in fancy places that was not nearly as good. My wife ordered chicken fried steak, also a generous portion and very tasty. I will admit, I DO NOT LIKE DINER FOOD! With that said, I have the best chiro ever who is next door to Rory's. I planned to take my neice out for lunch on Main and her only request was that she can eat breakfast. So I thought it would be perfect to take her there. The staff was very friendly. We asked for recommendations and I could not decide because our server made them all sound so appealing. Ended up getting the fish and chips and my neice ordered the breakfast sliders and a slice of pie. The fish and chips were amazing, flavorful and not greasy. The tartar sauce was DELICIOUS! The waitress said most of their sauces and salad dressings are made in house, you can tell. My neice loved her food. Needless to say I have to go back and try the others I was on the fence about but didn't order. I don't want to discredit other people's reviews here, but I know the ownership has changed recently and like I said, I do not like diner food and this was good food! I liked the decorations and overall vibe of this diner. The service was great and the menu had good options that seemed reasonably priced. Perhaps we caught the kitchen on an off day because some of our dishes were terrible. The pancakes were delicious light and fluffy. The hot dogs off the kids menu tasted awful. The steak salad had this dried/cold steak that was totally inedible. I really wanted to like Rory's because we've heard good things. We might try again and stick to the breakfast menu. read more

This place was great when it first opened. The breakfasts were delicious and the meatloaf was really good. In thelast 6 months we have tried it 3 separate times and it was mediocre. We had the waffles which were tiny and under done. It was like a kids meal. The pancakes were dry. The breakfast burrito was very good. The service was also very friendly. We tried dinner here twice and it was not good. I feel like they got away from what they did best and tried to become a more upscale dinner place. read more

I'll be fair here. We've only eaten at Rory's once, and the food was fine. But, as I looked up from my dinner, I saw a sign on the wall warning me that this establishment is "politically incorrect," and how those who don't fully embrace the owner's political views were "welcome to leave." Whether I do or I don't, the in-your-face, outright assertion that people with different political sensibilities weren't welcome in this establishment sent a strong message to me and my husband. We left, we won't be back, we've warned our friends in the community, and we've spread the word on social media. read more

Fabulous food and a great staff! Matt was so friendly, made me really feel welcome. Had the club sandwich, which is full of yummy wonderfulness, and which they removed a slice a bread for me so it wasn't too tall to eat. Also had a side salad with the mint vinaigrette. Wow, was that perfect! If you like salad, this is the same dressing used on the chicken and strawberry salad. So very good! Taking a piece of pie home with me. Wow! I got a chicken fried steak to go, eggs sunny side up with some sausage. Literally had the food sitting in my car for 20 minutes and it was still incredible. Eggs were perfect, steak was crispy, sausage had a great snap and flavor, and even the toast was delicious. Super easy online menu and pickup as well. Definitely try it out if you can. read more

This diner is super cute! Entrance is different! We joined my parents for brunch on Sunday. They will not seat you if your whole table is not there -- which makes sense but my parents arrived before us and had to wait so they saw people get seated and of course when we showed up we had to wait -- so decided to eat at the bar. The mimosa was good! Husband got Bloody Mary which he said was good! Only complaint was I got the banana nut pancakes add chocolate chip. I wish they chopped up the walnuts instead of using halves. read more

I really want this place to do well. Parker will reward you greatly if you can maintain consistency with service and food. I give a little leeway because they just moved into their expanded space, which is great. With the exception that they switched from Coke to Pepsi. Bad move for me since it's half my meal. I will be back to try more of the menu. But my last meal was a fried egg sandwich and it was cold. They very quickly remade it. That's just sloppy. Then the fruit they served my husband was moldy. We stumbled on Rory's yesterday morning and really enjoyed a nice breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla was really good, but could have used some green Chile or chorizo for a little more flavor. Pancakes were really big, and there are 3 in an order so you won't go hungry. The jalapeño gravy on my son's biscuits was a hit. I really wanted to love this cute , local place in Parker just off Mainstreet. We went with a group of people for brunch on a weekday. We couldn't get a table until everyone had arrived. Once seated the tables they put together were too small for all of us despite plenty of open tables. Service was friendly and decent but on the slow side. Brunch was good with lots of delicious choices. The breakfast relleno was good. At the end when we all got our separate checks, the waitress then informed us she needed to add gratuity to our bills. She hand wrote the gratuity amount on all of our receipts for us. We were kind of shocked at that. Overall, decent but leaves a little to be desired too. read more

My wife and I with another couple stopped in for supper on 3/9. I had been a few years ago and wasn't that impressed so haven't been back. Parker needs more mom and pop shops like this one. We heard of the recent expansion so we decided to give it another try. 2 of us had the chicken fried breakfast, 1 had the chicken fried dinner, and 1 had biscuits and gravy. The 2 ladies wanted some gravy with their meals and were told they dont need to order extra as things are really smothered to start with. When the meals came out they both said I thought we were supposed to get it really smothered in gravy? And really there was not much gravy on any of the meals. I ate it just the way it was and so did my buddy. But the ladies both ordered more gravy at 1.50 a side. One of the ladies still didn't think there was still enough gravy. But she likes her gravy. I had a cinnamon roll for dessert. Ok a bit on the dry side. Overall meal was ok. Nothing special or bad. Will we be back? Probably but we wont be rushing back. read more

We've eaten here twice; I took photos of our food, hope I can figure out how to post them. VISIT #1: The first visit I ordered a salad with chicken, walnuts, cranberries, I think it had feta cheese too. Unfortunately I was disappointed because a)plate/bowl should be COLD. b)chicken should be COLD (it was just taken off the grill so it was hot chicken mixed in with salad). c)dressing tasted like it was just olive oil. It would've been better if it was oil and vinegar but to be sure I asked for an extra bit of dressing, the server brought it out in a little bowl and yep, it was olive oil. My husband ordered a French dip. It comes with steak fries and looked good and he said it was good. It's not huge but it was a good portion. I'm going to give it a 4 because I want them to do well. I had the almond cherry French toast and a side of home fries. My home fries were cold when they came out, but would have been really delicious if hot. Very good food, portions are a bit on the small side. But my husband and I were able to eat for 23 bucks which was nice. He had the Rueben sandwich and fries. Very friendly staff. read more

I especially enjoy their Bison egg rolls and their Open Faced Turkey Sandwich. Delish! Went back tonight, we got there kind of late considering that they close at 9PM. You really can't beat outdoor seating on a beautiful June evening in Parker. Service was awesome and I really enjoyed the ambiance on the patio. I ordered the prime rib special, son got a burger and the boss ordered the meat loaf. Everything was good but I've never seen prime come under gravy before, that was a bit weird, no au jus or horseradish, I ate it and it was good but just not what I was expecting. I've had prime rib here before, and it was awesome, and thought I knew what I was getting - the gravy was a not so welcome surprise. read more
