I have been coming to Roosterspin over the past several years. Have been turned away in the past on a Saturday for party of two because we didn't have reservations! Made reservations for party of 4. Always get the mango salad It's lightly dressed- always ask for extra dressing on the side. Charged $3 for extra dressing :( Dressing is amazing though. Enjoyed my honey butter rice balls Dynamite shrimp And hamburger sliders. Daughter really enjoyed the chicken sandwich with fries Had to ask for ketchup 2 of us got our entrees And the other 2 had to wait a bit to get their entrees. Serve wine. Love the music selection! Our server Kelly. Parking on site adhere to meter details.

I like the spicy original chicken wings. I thought they were tasty with a little kick. The non spicy ones didn't do anything for me but that's just a personal preference seeing as how I like spicy food. The chicken had a nice crisp to it which was nice. The other two dishes we ordered were just mediocre. Needed more spice and flavor. It was a bit on the bland side. The service was friendly and attentive the first half of the meal by the time the second half came our serve was no where to be found. We were the only table at the restaurant at this time and our server was busy chatting with a customer who came in either to sit at the "bar" area or was waiting for take out. I don't live in the area so I won't be back but If I did live in the area I might give it another chance if I run out of other options.

We went to Westfield the other day to walk around and window shop but then decided to grab a cold drink or cocktail because it was so hot outside and I happened to find this place on Yelp. I loved the whole vibe of this place upon entering and the bartender/server was very soft spoken and friendly. We sat down at a table and ordered a half bottle of chilled Sauvignon Blanc and it tasted splendid and was perfect for cooling off from the high temperatures outside. I wish we would have been hungry on the day we went though because the menu had some great options and their food looks great. We will be back soon to try more drinks and your food, don't worry! Thanks :)

On Christmas Eve, my family and I checked out Roosterspin in Westfield, NJ. We booked a jazz room for karaoke. There was a minimum spend for our group. They allowed us to substitute their food package for drinks and desserts. We enjoyed singing Christmas and New York themed songs, sipping on Winter Spiced Sangria, and snacking on Mochi Ice Cream and a slice of Chocolate Cake.

Love the vibes here. Came at an 4pm which is an odd hour to eat so we got the whole place to ourselves. We tried the bulgogi sliders. I thought this was well done but could be more juicy. The flavor was there and pairs well with the red pickled onion. 4/5 The kimchi fries I recommend you pass. Actually pass if you're expecting actual kimchi on the kimchi fries like other places. This was just regular seasoned fries and sauce on the side. But if you're expecting just regular fries this is good. 3/5 Double fried chicken- like any other Korean fried chicken but boy were those drumstick massive. It came pipping hot so it was perfect. I did half and half. Normally I like the original soy more but I think the spicy was a tad better here than their original. 4/5 Lastly had the spicy Tuna roll. Gotta love the sauce on top. Can't go wrong with the one! I recommend. 5/5 I actually wanted to try the ramen taco but as of this review it is out of rotation so they don't have it on the menu.

Excellent for and staff! Great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Get the pickled ginger with your double fried spicy chicken and you will be in heaven. All the staff are extremely helpful and professional. It's also a byob which is great and they are also accommodating for children. Highly recommend

This will easily become a go-to spot. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. The place is a little cozy, but that is a good thing. The waitress we had was amazing I wish I could remember her name to shout her out. Now the food. The dynamite shrimp is f...ING amazing. Crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth soft in the middle. We ordered the vegetarian rice because my wife doesn't like scallops and calamari, but it was still great enough that I ate it. The wings.... omg, the wings. Although I would have liked a bit more spicy, the wings are perfect. Great sauce, amazing crunch, and tenderness of the meat are beyond great.

Came here COMPLETELY at random. We decided to leave for dinner with absolutely no destination in mind, only an area where we would look. Found somewhere to try, but when we parked we saw this place tucked in the corner. Walked in and loved the decor & the vibe. Medium sized venue, that has that hidden gem feel. Dim mood lighting, smooth music, & friendly staff. They also have Karaoke rooms in the back. I went back there & took a look since they weren't in use. We ordered the Half & Half Wings (1/2 Soy Garlic, 1/2 Spicy Soy Garlic), Snowcorn Roll, & Bulgogi Sliders. Everything was excellent. Glad we didn't waste our random outing. Such a great choice & a new go-to spot. Grades: Wings: A+ Snowcorn Roll: A+ Bulgogi Sliders: A

Why has NJ been sleeping on Roosterspin? Literally some of the best wings I've ever had in NJ, maybe even East Coast!! I stand my ground. It's off the beaten path but it is so worth it! Everything I ordered were knockout dishes -- kale salad (omg), the scallion pancakes (done perfectly), and the miso ramen was sooooo full of depth and flavor. I can't wait to go back for those wings though! Wings are not pictured because I was too busy devouring them. Phone did not eat first.

Long wait for our reservation and when we finally got seated we had a long wait for a server. Had to ask for menus and then long wait for dinner' . Flavorful food was the only saving grace yet everyone's entree came out at various times and some appetizers came out with entrees one person didn't get entree until everyone was finished eating . Don't know if it's poor kitchen timing versus inadequate service, but timeliness was not in our favor for anything tonight. Food is very colorful and beautifully plated with amazing flavors. Just wish they could get their act together for service.

Super solid Korean food option in the area. It's my go to whenever I am craving dolsot Bibimbap and Korean fried chicken. I've been here four times and have order those dishes each time :). Definitely be forewarned that the spicy fried chicken is very very spicy, definitely not for the faint of heart. Meanwhile, the dolsot Bibimbap is the best you will get in this area, so delicious!! My other go to item here is the sangria, where you can bring a bottle of wine and they will make the sangria for you. Doesn't matter if it's the cheapest bottle you have, they will make it delicious. The space is beautiful, love the glass bottles and well decorated. Service is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

10/10 a million times over ! First time here, and I'm so happy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere here. The sushi - DELICIOUS, the fried chicken - finger licking good (we got it in soy garlic sauce), and the garlic fried rice - yummy all on its own (no need for extra soy or anything). Our servers name was Alejandro - such a nice young man. Definitely coming back !

Like many businesses on this block the restaurant is relatively long but a bit narrow (compared to an eatery like the nearby Vicki's Diner). To the left is the counter and kitchen area. To the right is a row of seating and there's more seating towards the back. The rest rooms are all the way in the back. The walls feature beautiful paintings including celebrities like Dolly Parton. It is a very bright and welcoming. Street parking is almost always packed. I would recommend parking at the nearby Municipal Parking instead (basically behind the restaurant). Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken features a fairly simple menu, focusing on chicken wings, wraps and salads. I have tried examples of all three and they were all fantastic. Their wings are perfectly crispy on the outside but not dried out on the inside. Their various flavors deliver as advertised (and to my taste, none are particularly spicy). Their wraps are gigantic. I can't imagine still being hungry after eating one (if that's your entire meal). If you have it with something else, be prepared for leftovers. Finally, there are their salads which I often get with grilled chicken. The chicken is always cooked perfectly. Most, flavorful and cooked through. The salads also come in containers the size of your head. I've never ordered a salad here and not taken some home. It's awesome. The staff at Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken is always friendly and open to answering questions about their menu. Food also comes out very quickly, so no issues with service. I really enjoy my visits here and will definitely go back soon!

I…read moresaw that there was a new restaurant in this shopping center and decided to give it a try. Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean with no trash on the tables, by the condiment station, or on the floor. The staff: They are friendly and helpful with the menu items. They have a lot of patience and update you on your order. Prices: The prices range from $5.99 and up depending on what you order. The best part is that if you get a combo then the price is worth it. The combo comes with your entree, French fries and a soda. Chicken Platter Combo: This was an amazing platter and was absolutely delicious. The rice, chicken, tomatoes, lettuce was good with the sauce that they put on top. French Fries: They were cooked to a crisp so when you bite it, it has a crunch. Chicken Cheesesteak: This was not what I had expected. The bread was soft, the chicken was cooked to perfection, and the cheese was melted on top of the chicken. The sauce gave the cheesesteak some flavor; however, I probably would not get this again. Overall: This is a good place to grab lunch or dinner with the platters. Their credit card machine sometimes does not work well so it is better to pay in cash. I would probably come back to try other platters, wraps, or even the chicken sandwiches. I just do not recommend the cheesesteaks if you are expecting something great.
