The drinks were better after I diluted the milk tea with milk and the fruit teas with 3x water. * Taro Coconut Milk Tea (non caffeine) 4.5/5 - This was a very nice drink. It had a strong, smooth taro taste which I really liked. The coconut milk was pretty understated, and I didn't really taste it. * Strawberry Hisbiscus Tea 3/5 - This was a sweet drink, but the flavors didn't really come through. 100% sweet was too much for me and I had to add more water to make it drinkable. read more

Went on a Sunday evening around 5 and it wasn't busy! Worker was pretty helpful and drinks came out quick! I got the mango hibiscus tea with honey boba. I like that they have this flavor because I've never seen it anywhere else! It was a good even mix of fresh mango flavor/juice and hibiscus tea. The hibiscus part was a little too sweet so I'd get lower sweetness if that was an option next time. The honey boba was pretty fresh and chewy. I was craving for a brown sugar boba milk drink and found Rooster Tea on Yelp while in the area. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon - it was pretty empty inside with only one person ahead in line. Drinks were quickly delivered upon ordering (~3 minutes). 17 oz Tiger Sweet Milk Boba ($5.45): I asked to adjust sweetness level and was told they could include less brown sugar around the perimeter of the drink. The drink ended up still being incredibly sweet and some of the boba was tender while others had a bit of a hard center. Very disappointing. 17 oz Taro Slush ($5.15): All powder only with no fresh taro, drink was very watered down with just a hint of taro flavor. Overall, not a tea shop I would visit again as the ingredients did not seem as fresh as other boba shops. read more

My cousins and I decided to go to a boba tea shop after going to afternoon tea. I don't care what you think, it's different. I opted for the Hokkaido Milk tea with egg pudding and whole milk, less sweet because the pudding is sweet. My drink came out in a few minutes and it was good. The sweetness was still a bit sweet but I liked it. It's interesting that they use non-dairy for their drinks and charge extra for cow's milk. Glad to see they have the option I guess. Tried out Rooster Tea while I was in the area. The staff were very friendly and helped us work through a larger group order efficiently which I appreciate. I personally got the strawberry matcha latte, which has plenty of strawberry purée (I'd say it leans more on the stronger strawberry flavor end than stronger matcha flavor) and comes with sea cream foam on top that can be taken off or adjusted at your request. Their golden boba is also very pleasantly chewy. The sweetness level for most of the drinks is pretty high by default so I would recommend you get 50% or lower if you're looking for a less sugary drink, although some of them have the sweetness set. Overall a nice place to go to for drinks if you're in the mood. read more

Whenever I step into this store, it always reminds me of the beach! I love how chewy their boba is here and the drinks are always consistently made. I love their exclusive flavors too, back when they had blueberry matcha!! The mango matcha is always my go to. One of my favorite boba spots in the area!! The owner is always nice and I love supporting local businesses. The drinks are delicious and pretty good quality in the milk and toppings, at least as far as flavor goes. The biggest con is the parking - this lot is often a nightmare to get in and out of, particularly at rush times. Finding a spot on my last visit took over 5 minutes of circling the lot in chaos. The staffing may need to be upped. The girl at the counter was upfront and let me know that it would be a bit of a wait on a week night at about 5:30pm. About 5 other in-person orders were made ahead of mine, as well as what I assume where onlines. But I ended up waiting 15+ minutes for a single drink (I agreed to wait, I'll admit). I went to Rooster's Tea yesterday after work and tried something new! As I was driving side streets it was a nice scenic view too. As I arrived to Rooster's Tea I couldn't find it because I was looking at the building and had missed its name too. When calling the store an associate who picked up was friendly too and was helpful. The parking could be difficult because it's medium sized and kind of packed in a way. I ordered the mango slushy with egg pudding, crystal boba, and mango puree. I couldn't have anything caffeinated but caffeine free. I decided to try their slushy instead. The mango in the slushy wasn't the real fruit but the mango puree was the real fruit and delicious. My drink was pretty refreshing and their slush ice was nice and smoothe. I ordered my husband and son honeydew slush as well! I would like to try their strawberry slushy next time too!
