Beautiful views, but not really set up to serve a bunch of people. Service is pretty slow but you go for the view so it all evens out.

The space has a fun indoor-outdoor party vibe with string lights, a big bar area, and a lot of people moving through throughout the night. Because it gets very crowded during First Thursdays, the energy feels more like a social event than a typical bar night. It's a good place to stop by if you're already out in the area and want somewhere with music and a busy atmosphere. The photo here was taken from their little loft area, which is actually really cute and a great spot for people watching since you can see the whole bar and crowd from above. One thing I wasn't sure about was the plastic cups. Every time I've gone they've served drinks in plastic cups, but since it's so busy during First Thursdays, I'm not sure if that's their normal setup or just something they do to keep things moving during the event. I ordered a rosé, which was perfectly fine and easy to drink while walking around.

Luckily, my friend had already been to Iron Horse Cocktails, and suggested we go there instead. Walking down the alleyway it is located in was a nice getaway from the otherwise hectic union square atmosphere. Walking in was also a neat experience that felt like we were stepping out of the city into a tiny pub. We also really liked the atmosphere inside and the cozy upper floor that had an interesting mix of old paintings and woodwork, creating an eclectic feel. I got the We've Got the Beet cocktail with mezcal, beet reduction, ginger, fresh citrus, thyme and firewater bitters. I love mezcal's smoky flavors and was drawn to the combination of ginger, citrus and mezcal flavors in the drink. The cocktail was very good and had a nice smokiness from the mezcal, along with the kick from the ginger and zest from the citrus, creating a refreshing and tasty drink. My friend got the About Thyme, with gin, blackberry liquor, black pepper thyme syrup and fresh citrus. We both really liked his drink as well, which had an interesting kick from the black pepper thyme syrup that offset the gin and blackberry liquor nicely. While we only had time to grab a drink each, we were both very happy with the drinks and would definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

There's zero hint from the outside about what's waiting behind that door and that's part of the magic. Inside? Total vibe. Moody, trendy decor, shelves of great vinyl, solid drinks. It feels like the kind of spot you accidentally stay at way longer than you planned. Greg, our bartender, was fantastic. Friendly without being over the top, and he even gave us bar recommendations all over SF, which was a nice bonus. We ordered the Mi Sharona and the El Mariachi. The Mi Sharona leaned a little sweeter than I usually go for but it was still really good. The El Mariachi, though, was the winner: just the right amount of spice, subtle and balanced, not overpowering the drink at all. Love this spot.

For $15 a cocktail, it's definitely one of the more affordable spots in the city. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't busy, probably since it was quite early in the day. We got 2 drinks: - The Green Room: this hands down is a great cocktail choice especially if you're looking for something on the lighter side. I would recommend this if you are unsure what to try. - I don't remember what the second drink was called but I do remember it had roku gin in it (not sure if it is the gin and juice). It is definitely on the stronger side. If you do not enjoy gin... you will not like this. Was not expecting it to be so strong. Overall, I like the vibes of this place and like that it is open on the earlier side. The drinks felt a bit of a hit or miss, but we only tried 2 of them.

Arrived on a whim at around 6pm on a weekday and found a nice seat at the bar top. They have these little orb lights that can't be moved. Sitting in front of one takes some bar space away from you, so I changed seats to get a few more inches of space. Emilio the bartender was mega friendly and went over some items on the menu. He also told me I was right on time for the saber champagne presentation -more on that in a sec. For drinks, I ordered the Hibiscus Spice and the Paradise cocktail. Both were super fruity and delicious! I had a great time sipping on this while chatting it up with a few folks at the bar. To nibble, I can never say no to ahi tuna tartare and this one was great! The most interesting little wafers, ahi tuna with some avocado cream and a little spicy sauce. I absolutely devoured these! So good! Now for the best part, the champagne presentation! A gentleman gave a little info session on on how this process is done and at the end he took a giant to a bottle of champagne to open it. Really Cool! What made this even better was that everyone at the bar got to snag a complimentary glass. What a treat! Super cute little hour of so sitting at the bar at the St. Regis. Absolutely a little pricey, but i'ma girl who lives to spoil herself a bit. Because YOLO. Right?

We started with the oysters and I really enjoyed the sauces that came with them. They were fresh and delicious. We also had the happy hour french fries which were also very good. Then let's go to the fried chicken sliders, I couldn't even begin to eat them. It looked like they used chicken thighs and they just were not good at all. You've been warned. Now the happy hour Margarita Pizza was the star of the show. It was really good. I would definitely go back to try the regular menu items.
