audio nightclub is amazing for daytime events too. There are well tuned funktion 1 speakers everywhere! This is pleasing on the ears. we went to see wuki there on 02/24/2024 and it was packed. Best dance club in San Francisco IMHO. lights and laser installation is killer! the patrons were happy making the ambiance all the better. they dont serve food so not sure why yelp care about that.

This place is our absolute favorite club. Probably hit it every other week. Solid dj's and super cool lasers!.

I was back here last Friday for Sam Collins and boy Audio didn't disappoint. The club's got nice decors and the crowds are very friendly and everyone's dancing. I want to give kudos to bartender Matthew for providing the best bartender service as always. He was super friendly, fast, attentive and he really made the experience feel personal. Coming back to Audio because of him is already worth the trip!

This place is literally the worst. I am 22 years old and the bouncers took my real Minnesota ID because they're untrained and unfit for their jobs. I waited 45 minutes outside for the police to come while the bouncers denied my persistent requests to review my ID / social media / life story. I was treated with the utmost disrespect from all of the bouncers and despite paying a $30 cover I was not able to experience this bar simply because the bouncers were unable to do their job and properly check my ID. I strongly urge the management of this bar to properly train their staff to prevent such horrible experiences for their paying guests. Photo is taken from the booth in which I was told to wait for police.

So I guess the last time I went to Audio was in 1/2017. It is like 2 years later 1/2019, and I decided to revisit Audio. On the website, you find their calendar. It has a list of events. You can find events where you can sign up for the guest list and if you arrive before 11pm, you get in free. You don't have to pay. That may be a good way to go to Audio. Most of the electronic music ends up sounding the same..unless the EDM musician is more notable. When I say that the floor is a walking lawsuit because of the steps that go downwards into the floor, I mean it. I went to Audio again today(after last night) for a day party. And as soon as I got to Audio, a woman tripped on the steps by mistake and got injured. Her arm was wrapped and it took a while for EMT to take care of her. It was not a nice sight. So watch for the steps I say because these accidents really do happen. An amateur designer can see that. Today, I went for a day party. It was hosted by DirtyBird events. They had free pizza and it was enough to go around. They had a bunch of DJs from about 2-7pm or so. I stayed for a good 2-3 hours..and walked outside a bit. The day-time party was well-attended and busy. People were friendly. When is this event a "rave," but that is not my intention to go to a rave anyway. Audio is fun. I am going again with free guest list events.

    Ask the Community - Audio

What time does the club usually close by? I know Yelp says 2am but do headliners usually go until 3?

    They did last night.

Is there a coat check here?

    Yes cash only

What time do the headliners typically go on?

Is there usually a cover? And if so how much and is it worth it?

Yeah, audio books artists to play. The cover at the door is typically ~$30, but buying tickets before hand can be as cheap as $10

Is the venue 21 & up? There are a few DJs I want to see that I stumbled upon on SongKick, but can't seem to find if there is an age limit

Yes, 21+ only as it is a club with bars.

The escape room is Alice In Wonderland themed and includes three drinks as part of the experience. Arrived on time for our reservation but were held in a waiting room for about 30 min before we could start. Didn't seem like anyone else was doing the escape room but it was also the week of their biz anniversary so maybe they were just super busy. Phoenix led our escape room and was such a delight. Friendly, great banter, helpful throughout the escape. The escape game is split across multiple rooms with a good diversity of puzzles. Don't want to spoil too much here but they were good challenges. Drinks we incorporated throughout and presented like test tubes that were drinkable in a gulp, kind of like a cocktail shot. Personally, I found the first two drinks to be a bit too sweet, but I liked the third, which was coconut forward. The price is definitely a bit more costly. It was $100/person for a party of five. I understand that it was an escape room + the staff + the cocktails. If you max out the party size, it's about $85-ish per person which I think is pretty solid. Still very unique and fun and glad I got to try it

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The chirashi don was $53 and did taste great, albeit sushi rice with amaebi, ikura, and uni is hard to make badly. The fries and burger shared the melted cheese sauce, which was basically a fancy velveeta. The burger did have a nice blush in spite of being served in a pool of bubbling cheese saucy. It was all just fine but egregious at $15 and $28 dollars. It does look nice for the gram, but is a bit overwhelming in terms of cheese. The best bite for me was the tebasaki, which were crispy and had a sweet yuzu kosho glaze. I could eat many of these, but the $19 plate had 4 wings (flats with tip attached).
