They have an excellent Yelp rating, so I called for an appraisal to repair my roof. The steel roof on my house needed some attention. They replaced dry rotted outrigger supports, fascia boards and other wood, as well as resealed gutters. A partial removal of some steel sections were required. From the moment I was given an estimate, had a temporary patch installed to get through the remainder of rainy season to the roof install, Jonathan and his staff at Roofmasters customer service and craftsmanship were beaming. I live in an HOA neighborhood, and Jonathan and his staff were respectful, starting work right around 8:00 A.M., they cleaned up my home area and the adjacent neighbors area, the colors recommended for the tile and gutters matched my old ones. In addition to the install, the Foreman made recommendations on how to reengineer the water drainage which would minimize dry rot in the future. Roofmasters replaced my roof, installed new facing boards, and installed gutter covers in mid 2022 and did a truly excellent job. Recently a leak was discovered when there was wind-driven rain, which allowed water to enter my kitchen wall. Roofmasters put a roof on my patio overhang and it's a different kind of roof than my house. Because the patio overhang is not very slanted, they used a different kind of roof material. The roof material dumps particles all over the place, the ground, my swimming pool and the rain gutter. It's dumping about 10 pounds every two months of roof particles into my rain gutter and into my swimming pool. I have a newer variable speed pool pump and it got damaged from the roof particles going through it, so did my pump for my pool sweep. The pool sweep has about 4 pounds a week of roof particles in it. I had to have the pool vacuumed and have the pool filter cleaned, and it's a constant battle to keep having the rain gutter cleaned and to keep getting the roof particles out of the swimming pool. My pool company wanted to try using a blower on the roof, the gutter cleaners recommended putting a cover over the pool and then power washing the roof. Roofmasters has a guarantee, but they are not going to cover the pool and power wash the new roof, they are not going to replace the roof. Also, when I had a new gutter and downspout put in another area, they said they would put the downspout at the front or back of the house. They put it in the walkway, in the middle of the rain gutter, so I had to get another company to attach a plastic extension to it so the water goes out front into the dirt. The guy who works in the office is the one who put in the 64 "not recommended posts". It shows you cannot go by Yelp. Most of the remaining posts I see not taken out look like they are out of the service area. Roofmasters sent a guy out today and he has NO idea what I am talking about when I mention the pool pump had to be repaired, when I mention I had to have the pool vacuumed, when I told him I had to get the pool filter cleaned. He just stares like he has no idea what I am talking about. And, he did NOT want to hear that other companies, like swimming pool companies and gutter cleaning companies see this huge problem and cannot believe the roof is dumping ten pounds of roof particles in the rain gutter and the pool all the time. the guy from Roofmasters just said he's all finished up, said zero about the problem, zero, which I knew Roofmasters was going to do. read more
