Due to an edict by the home's insurer to replace the roof, an estimate was requested by Roofmasters. Upon review of all the estimates, not the lowest, nor the highest, they were chosen due to their history in the community, reviews, and BBB standing. In addition, they could meet the assigned deadline. We were placed on the schedule for February 10th. My prayers were there would be no rain until February 14th or 15th. We almost made it, however the rain came pouring down on the 10th and 11th. Thursday, February 12th dawned full of sunshine and the tear out commenced. Additional work was uncovered which unfortunately, yet understandably increased the price. Work continued, the city inspector, approved, and the tiles were installed. As the weekend approached so did an impending storm. The team returned Saturday, February 14th which meant they were with us and not their Valentines. Thank you!! The roof was completed before the storm and we've had several days of rain to test it out. No leaks!!! The excellent team at RoofMasters just finished my gorgeous new roof and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone was thoughtful, professional, respectful, and very easy to talk to. I also truly appreciate the no-pressure aspect of working with this team. I got several quotes for my roof work, and not only was RoofMasters the best price, but they took care of me while I was getting other bids. I was even able to call Johnathon and ask questions about the information in the other quotes. Another company checked my attic while they were doing the initial inspection for their quote, and found an issue that they said needed to be addressed - it was a broken support beam. Given that this company was quoting me nearly double the price of the other quotes, I asked RoofMasters to also take a look and possibly adjust their quote. Justin came in and did a VERY thorough inspection of the attic space, took pictures from all angles and of all the structures up there. He did a much more comprehensive review and provided me with a much more accurate explanation of what the issue was. From the start, our main contact Johnathon was responsive and easy to work with, and the foreman Matt focused on timing and quality, and made sure we knew each day when they were going to lunch or finished for the day. That kind of communication gave us a lot of peace of mind during the project. After the main job was completed, we did a walk-around and noticed a few small items we wanted to follow up on. Without hesitation, Johnathon sent Justin to review their work to ensure everything in our contract was covered and sent a couple of crew members back out very quickly to address everything on our list. Not only did they take care of each detail, but they also went above and beyond by catching something on the shed roof that we hadn't noticed. Let me start by saying if you're looking for the least expensive roofers, these are not the guys. I was not looking for the least expensive. I liked how long they've been in business and their reviews. They were down to the top two or top three I ended up paying about $3000 more than the next highest quote but since the roof should last at least 25 years in reality, the cost is not that high, though percentage wise it was. There were two days of rain delay delays. They were supposed to come on Monday and finish on Friday so I could get solar panels the following Monday. Despite the rain delays, they said they would bring out extra crew and they still finished by working a couple hours on Saturday morning solar got installed on Monday as planned They seem to have done a very good job cleaned up every day.
