Due to an edict by the home's insurer to replace the roof, an estimate was requested by Roofmasters. Upon review of all the estimates, not the lowest, nor the highest, they were chosen due to their history in the community, reviews, and BBB standing. In addition, they could meet the assigned deadline. We were placed on the schedule for February 10th. My prayers were there would be no rain until February 14th or 15th. We almost made it, however the rain came pouring down on the 10th and 11th. Thursday, February 12th dawned full of sunshine and the tear out commenced. Additional work was uncovered which unfortunately, yet understandably increased the price. Work continued, the city inspector, approved, and the tiles were installed. As the weekend approached so did an impending storm. The team returned Saturday, February 14th which meant they were with us and not their Valentines. Thank you!! The roof was completed before the storm and we've had several days of rain to test it out. No leaks!!! From the start, our main contact Johnathon was responsive and easy to work with, and the foreman Matt focused on timing and quality, and made sure we knew each day when they were going to lunch or finished for the day. That kind of communication gave us a lot of peace of mind during the project. After the main job was completed, we did a walk-around and noticed a few small items we wanted to follow up on. Without hesitation, Johnathon sent Justin to review their work to ensure everything in our contract was covered and sent a couple of crew members back out very quickly to address everything on our list. Not only did they take care of each detail, but they also went above and beyond by catching something on the shed roof that we hadn't noticed. But when a small leak developed over our living room ceiling, we were aghast to find that we were one day out of warranty. Roofmasters assured us they would take care of it at no charge. Let me start by saying if you're looking for the least expensive roofers, these are not the guys. I was not looking for the least expensive. I liked how long they've been in business and their reviews. They were down to the top two or top three I ended up paying about $3000 more than the next highest quote but since the roof should last at least 25 years in reality, the cost is not that high, though percentage wise it was. There were two days of rain delay delays. They were supposed to come on Monday and finish on Friday so I could get solar panels the following Monday. Despite the rain delays, they said they would bring out extra crew and they still finished by working a couple hours on Saturday morning solar got installed on Monday as planned They seem to have done a very good job cleaned up every day. This a follow up to my roof installation a few months ago. I recently needed to go into my attic to put a few things up there. I absent mindedly forgot to put the crawlspace cover back in place. I remembered a week later and put it back in place. 2 interesting things. I could see light at the peak of the roof coming in and began to panic. I then recalled the importance of the venting Jonathon had spoken and calmed down.
